I am a bit afraid to plug in high torque servo directly to the receiver. Have you plugged in the steering servo into the receiver (FSiA10), or it drains power through something else ?
can you tell me if i can use this radio with three RX's i have a 1/14 scale semi and a goose neck trailer. it calls for three RX's , truck, goose neck, and 5th wheel on trailer. so i need the radio to control all. thanks
how many ch do you need the radio has up to 14 model mode so you would have to switch from each rx but with the mod its a full 10ch radio after my controlller mod
Can you share the details of your modded radio. I keep searching google but I can not seem to find detail info on modding my radio for my trucks. Only airplanes
For those wanting to know about his TX, no modding is required to bind to the RX and fully control it. Programming is your channel mixer. All you need to make sure is you're running a afhds 2 or whatever turned off if using the non "2" setup. And everything you should need for your sticks is inside the fsi6. You change the sensitivity of sticks and centering from the module the sticks are mounted to inside the controller. You can do firmware updates on the fsi6 to control 10ch rx if desired. My recommendations for this controller and simple mods are on my channel. Micro fpv trucks are all I am into at the moment for 4 wheeled vehicles. Mostly quadcopters here.
I have the same issue. When i calibrate the esc i can go forward starting from the middle but no reverse. How can I fix this ? I use a futaba t8j. Thanks !

you just need to center lock the stick so they act like a stick 2ch radio
I know it's been 6 years, but I want to know how you got the left stick to center. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
