Glad you all had fun on the bike! The Javelin is designed for a very different application than an ebike. We are building to compete in the light motorcycle class/moped class. It’s also 100% hand built to order at our CT location. These things (along with the large battery, American made seat by Tapia, and 4,000 watt setup) cause the price to be what it is. When do you want to come to our facility and build one with us!
Might be a good idea to reach out to this guy ua-cam.com/video/JuKtfKb7C4A/v-deo.htmlsi=I_YMx_OaXzhM-nFp His Javelin came with a bunch of issues, most of which seem to be attributable to shipping. You may want to make a statement in the comments since it's pretty bad.
@@maximumchargeEV Yes it was and with 1500 front and rear it walks up hills like my Goat. I have 2 small 25 ah batteries and I range tested at 30 mph for 58 miles on the Goat. So at 20 mph it should go over 100 easy. Going on a rail trail close to our home in Indiana it’s 62 miles long and goes thru 10 towns.
@@papap.8006 i have the same e bike as you the tuttio Seeker 24 how did you hook up your 2nd battery i want to do the same i ride to work and it's 23miles each way
Excellent job Alex. Both great bikes. Dual motor bikes are great for that crazy acceleration. Happy to see your opinion on the Javelin. What I do love the most about Spark Cycleworks bikes is the component quality and the openness of it. Easy to modify and adjust to your liking. They have a premium price, but it is justified. The other thing that doesn’t get mentioned a lot is they have a vin and can be registered. I got a feeling this is going to become important in the future.
I can't see many buying this over the freego X2 or sur Ron, talaria, mantis (x). X2 is like 2 grand cheaper. The engineering on a sur Ron is artful in contrast to the spark, which looks like more high school metal shop project or the cool bike someone's grandpa built. A nice looking, well designed swing arm would help a great deal.
The Spark motorcycle is interesting construction. It appears they used a bent and welded sheet metal approach (from what I can see) for the frame. If this is true, it allows for cost effective low volume construction and allows for large interior volume for batteries. Since it is a motorcycle, I wonder how much the insurance is on it.
It is sold as a motor-driven cycle or moped. The 4kw direct-drive hub motor matches the federal limit for mopeds (5hp) and it is sold restricted at 2hp, which is the common state limit for mopeds. The MCO will state 2hp/30mph and it comes with a VIN. If registered, it should fall in the moped category in almost every state. If insurance is necessary for mopeds in your state, you can get an estimate for those rates.
I got my Adria 2 weeks ago and yes I like it for the price but my issue is parts got damaged in shipping and I still didn’t get my compensation back from tuttio…😒
Just subscribed to a UA-cam channel for my first time from the app after watching your channel for a year on a browser with no account. Pretty cool some confetti shot out n stuff. I was really hoping you’d go over the controller specs for the Adria. I messaged them myself, apparently the 3000w Seeker has two 25 amp controllers and the Adria has two 28+2 amp controllers. Always confused about the +2 thing, does that mean they’re really 30 amp controllers? 60 amps times 58.8v = 3,528 Watts not quite 4000w but I’ll take it. I’m still looking to purchase a 52v ebike under 2K that’s pushing at least 35 amps to each motor and 26” wheels. This comes very close I’ll keep an eye on this company. Enjoyed the vid looking forward to the next one!
What I notice of price differences, it is the type or brand of the BATTERY of the EBike. Cheap batteries usually the budgets while the Samsung, LG brands are always over 1500$ I bought a very powerful Fat Tire in my AiLife 26 inch but just basic battery which I can upgrade later. The other difference are parts components like a mech vs Hydrolytic brakes, LCD, chain, etc. The more , the higher priced. I just bought one and put another motor to give me better performance of a 2000$ ebike but with basic parts.
The Javelin can be bought with both its standard battery or you have the option to upgrade from the factory to a powerful lithium high output battery. The javelin also has motorcycle grade parts.
From what I gather, the javelin can go 70, but is tuned down for longevity. I could be wrong and if sparkcycle sees this please correct me if that's not the case.

My onyx cty2 would surprise you! A top shot at 54 miles an hour, but man it will set you back it’s so fast!
I bet. I believe you can tune the javelin to accelerate faster.

are you able to adjust the start up power in the front motor to reduce wheel spin at all? thanks
it doesn't seem like it.
Start with the rear motor and then add the front motor😊
