It actually works. On my Switch V2 Mariko, the console would not boot due to a damaged WIFI IC - it would freeze on the Nintendo logo. I disassembled the IC and restored the EMMC memory. The console starts correctly.
Hi thats great to know. By any chance, do you know if the BT firmware can be rewritten onto the wifi ic? i have an oled which i swaped a faulty wifi ic, the wifi now works great but lost bluettoth functionality...
@@techjesusde nope, this is a known issue: brand new wifi ic doesn't come with propietary nintendo bluetooth firmware loaded. wifi and bluetooth didn't work before the swap. Now only wifi works, look it up on google.

You probably didn't do it right, or the new IC is faulty. Try to reflow/reball the ic, or try a new IC.
