Great review - thx guys! I was looking at an entry level kit but with some expansion as my skills improve. The nitro was going to be my choice, but I reckon I will spend the extra and get this with the additional sounds etc.
Nice presentation, thank you! I heard, there is an issue with the MIDI number for the hi-hat (open/close). So: does the module have the option of a software update (via USB?) and do you think the issue will be solved in any way?
I’m considering this set. Thanks for the review. Also, it’s 2022 and looking back…….. Update it’s been an hour and I bought this set on sale at guitar center. I also bought a strike 12 amp and a double bass pedal.
Buy roland drums. If you’re a beginner, I would recommend you to buy td-11 it ranges about $500-$700 but it works good! And start watching stuff on youtube. Hope this helps’
Good video. Wot a dilemma, though - buy an acoustic kit for £500+ (half the price of this excellent Alesis set) or an electronic drum kit which needs electricity to be properly playable, needs an amplifier, won't annoy the neighbours if you use headphones (hello tinnitus, my old friend...) and costs over a grand. What to do? Buy the E-drum kit!!
Unsuitable for midi recordings! Because for open and closed hi-hat the Alesis sends identical notes.Or rather you can not set different notes according to general midi standard. Yes I have activated GM mode in the menu.
Excited to receive my alesis crimson special edition very soon

How different are the features from the Alesis DM 10 MkII Pro module?
That’s got some really good snare and bass presets
Love you guys you make it more interesting with your humor excellent product keep up the good work!

Have you been happy for the last year?
Does this have multi zone ryde? :)
@@Adrian-vk1cu I never opened it. It just sat in the box untouched until I sold it all last month.
Can it handle double bass pedals and patterns?
Great review guys. Does the kit allows for a double kick pedal?
it should work fine with one but it doesn’t come with a double kick pedal
hey guys great video, just wondering what kick pedal you used for the use of this kit Thank you
what would you recommend for a musician (of other instruments) wanting to start drums?
Buy roland drums. If you’re a beginner, I would recommend you to buy td-11 it ranges about $500-$700 but it works good! And start watching stuff on youtube. Hope this helps’
Thanks you guys great!!! :)
Can you assign different sounds to each piece?
about askin' the same question here🖐
Is that too loud for a ground floor apartment?
Is it compatible with alesis strike cymbals?

This set makes me want to take up drums.
I am grade 7 just got this thanks guys
Is it possible to get double pedal?
Certainly looks to me like that kick pad will fit 2 beaters. :)
yes it 100% will. I bought this kit and I have a tama iron cobra 900 with it and it works very well
I'm sold
Sounds like an electronic drum set.
Noice review
Thanks for tuning in, we're glad you enjoyed the video!
Sounds decent
Any recommendations for a set as close to free as possible?
Yes, ask someone other than these hacks.
Tourtech TT22M. Its ridiculous for the price.

Not entirely complete. The kit sends the same midi note for open and close, but the pedal position is sent as CC4.
Looks like good value for money 👍
Now with an updated mesh from the Alesis Strike kit, the Crimson II SE really finds its home as a good feeling kit with great samples!
@@AndertonsDrumDept How long and wide is it? I would like to know to see if it fits in my bedroom
Lmao I lost it on kit 22 😂
No really, alesis CAN make kits that sound good !
No answers to a single question! I'll go elsewhere
If only they didn't use the crappy hi hat pedal with this kit
Scamdemic ridiculous
