Very happy to see that these are available again. Bucket traps are great when doing ADC as they can keep the animal out of sight, typically calmer, and less likely to be messed with by the crazy neighbor. Thanks Wildman!
Couldn't agree more!, you are welcome
Brillant . Thanks for walking thru the set up. Smart setup.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for the follow up video. I agree, the first trap was great, and this trap is a marked improvement.
Glad you enjoyed it, and yes for sure a better product
Nice improvements. Great update on vid thanks
No problem 👍
Great videos
Glad you think so!
My buddy has some of those old traps. He loves them and keeps asking me to make him some. Now I can tell him where to get new ones.
for sure, tell him NBWildman sent you and you should get a sweet deal.
We have a lil raccoon who is so sweet but he has gotten his fingers cinched up in a zip tie and we need to help him before he loses the fingers. We called Wildlife rescues and they dont call back so its up to us. This is just the kind of item I was looking for, thank you.
you are welcome, glad we could help

Does the self taping screws can hurt the animal ???
What’s the best way to dispatch from this trap without ruining meat/fur?
I don’t see a link to the manufacture. Could you attach it again
Do you ever have issues of the animal rolling the trap upside down, while trapped, and escaping? I know some of the boars are hard on TSC live traps.
no not really, they really can't get a grip on anything inside the bucket, i've never had one rolled over
@@NBWildman I love the concept but am having sticker shock on the price.
I set the trap twice and the animal has taken the bait and not move the trigger. Any suggestions?
adjust your trigger back so the bait is close between the back of the pail and the back of the trigger, they will have to move the trigger out to get at it
Geesh $75.00+shipping?? Cool setup though. I'll have to put it in my list for next season.
Great review.
Thanks, yea a bit steep, but nice unit, i've spent more and got less...
@@NBWildman that's actually a very helpful comment. thank you
good looking improvements to the trap .
agreed !!
70 USD in your professional opinion are they worth upwards of 100 dollars?
i didn't pay that much for my original ones, but they are very good and if it saves getting sprayed just one time then the answer is yes
Thanks
Update on price, $80.00 + $15.00 shipping + tax. Total for me was $104.26. Pricey but if it saves me from being spayed by a skunk... Priceless
I don't see any benefit from a cage trap. That one was to many moving parts and sharp (screws inside bucket)edges to damage the fur if you were to harvest it. Weight and to many parts to have rolling around in the back of the truck bed. Plus cost for it include shipping would be way to high. Thanks for sharing, good info.
i hear what your saying, but i have had so many cage traps destroyed by a big coon and these ones have lasted me for years..each to their own i guess
Why don't you show us catching skunks and raccoon's
have a couple vids on the channel already, one called live trap in action i think
@@NBWildman ok I must have missed them
