Investors who lost money in FTX's bankruptcy have until September 29, 2023 ($ PM USA ET), to submit a claim for that money , according to a June 29 decision by the US Bankruptcy Court of Delaware. Claimants are now able to make new submissions for assets they owned on the exchange before it went bankrupt.
FTX, the cryptocurrency exchange declared bankruptcy in November 2022, is leading to withdrawal restrictions for account holders. Now, affected investors have a brief window to reclaim some of their assets via a quick bankruptcy claim.

Thank you for sharing this. I did not first believe that they would value FTT tokens to 0. I had earlier heard that the debtors would treat it as stock of a company. Now that FTX will no longer resurface, I should now accept it as 0. Still hurts. What a low ball value on my entire portfolio.
Thank you for the kind words. It’s really heart breaking that they’ve written off FTT token and offered such low valuations on other tokens. On the positive side, something is always better than nothing!

If you've filed in both jurisdictions, you need to choose between one of them by 16th August - else Bahamas will be considered the default option.
Now they ask do you want to be in bancrupcy through Bahamas or US? Is US citizen do you pick US or can you pick Bahamas? Which is better you think?
Not legal or financial advise, but if I were a US resident and if my claim value was more than USD 10, I would have opted for US process. I’ll cover this in details in Q&A video that I’ll post on Monday (12 August)

Why we have the Bahamas Process and the US Process
Thank you for the query. FTX had presence in multiple countries and hence court trials have been initiated in all those legal jurisdictions.
However, unless one is based in one of these countries where trial is on, one can chose to file claim in either Bahamas or US

I have this try this method for a very long time already but I didn't recevied and information back for their support and I have waiting for it for over 2-3 month without any news back.

Thanks for making this video. I already submitted a claim I think on Kroll a long time ago. Do I need to do it again under this PWC platform? And if I live in Europe, do I automatically fall under the Bahamian process?
BTW where can I find a list of crypto prices that were used for the FTX payout? And is the payout in USD or in crypto?

Payout will be in USD equivalent to the holding on the bankruptcy date and you can check your admitted claim in the published document (ua-cam.com/video/yK1NKzKcA5U/v-deo.htmlsi=j5ADEm0Netm2izGA)

@@investmentvitals Thank you very much! Then I guess my best bet (because Im from Europe) might be to also file a claim in the Bahama's process, even though I also filed a claim on Kroll. Just to see which process might get my money back faster
You’ll need to choose between one of the two processes. I personally prefer the US process given their longstanding experience in chapter 11 cases (not legal advice). I’ll make a detailed video covering pros and cons within 48 hours
@@investmentvitals How do I choose between the two processes? Im not even sure if my claim was succesful in Kroll, it was a long time ago, I believe early 2024 or somewhere in 2023 that I filled that out.

Isn't a European customer automatically linked to the Bahamas process? As I was not a customer of FTX US, which is a seperate entity
