You put the coconut side in buns while applying the flaxseed ecostyler, which you didn't do to the flaxseed style after applying product. This may have translated to a falsely more stretched wash and go with the coconut ecostyler
I've tried both of these with various leave ins and my results are consistent. I really like the black castor gel but I'm SO in love with the coconut! I feel like everyone else prefers the black castor oil but I guess we're the odd balls haha. Great comparison video :)
Sometimes, the product combo can change the end result of the style. Maybe if you tried the Flaxseed gel with another leave-in...🤗 Both sides look amazing 😘
I think you should try the Jamaican Black Castor and Flax Seed Oil one again in smaller sections. I know all hair is different, but I think smaller sections would show you the true results. No one else experienced frizz/extra volume or any of that. But either way your hair looks great!

I prefer the coconut Eco styler, I tried the black castor oil one and my hair reacted the sane as the normal olive oil one just ok. The coconut one just made my hair pop and elongate. Love the coconut Eco

Clearly see the length using the coconut oil and the shrinkage using the black castor flaxseed.. Overall your hair is absolutely beautiful 💜

try the flax seed without the leave in under it. you will be shocked at the difference
