Editing and photography in this video is legit
Next level!
I’m thinking he hire an editor.
The editing is very well done, agreed. But lets hear it for the camera operator who captured the raw footage, too! Great job on the B roll.
Ordered both a zipper hoodie and a tee shirt. I've been inspired by your channel and am in the middle of installing a coffered ceiling in my own house. Thanks for all the great advise for this DIY'er to follow!
In my opinion that’s what it takes to be a great carpenter, (figuring out ways to improvise), that buildout you used to build out that soffit so the vent would fit, is exactly how it’s done, (make it work) .. your work is always very crisp with clean lines - nice job again
Where in Michigan, Grand Rapids here.
yep, gotta think outside the box to complete the job, and also make it simple and effective.

Video production is getting way better I see your progress nice work
Bro., I can't express enough how happy I am you landed this job. Praying it leads to more jobs of this size & caliber for you & your company. Hoping all is well, Dirty Jersey out!!
You upped your game on the video editing and music... love it
You must have a new editor for this episode. I love the intro and music.... totally Legit
I heard the whistle of approval at the 5:18 mark. You can not beat that.
And I loved the trick of sliding the bisket joiner across the board to create a groove in it. That was slick
You're an above average carpenter. The proof is in the pudding. You have leaned like myself, but after 27 years I still learn every day.
Absolutely love to watch someone whose a true craftsman, and to see you do it with such a humble non chalance is admirable.
We want to see the finished article, caulked and painted.
Master of improvisation! So talented I could watch all day! Nice! Yeah hoodies!
Merry Christmas to me!! Snagged a black T-shirt, thanks for making these available. I too, would love to see some of your work after it's all finished, much like the wall you did in your home. Keep up the great work - love the new tunes!
The Buds class 234 references 😂😂😂
I was like he did not just say that. “Lock it out stud boy”
This was like "how many pro tips can you catch per minute." Well done, thanks for sharing.
That ceiling looks so nice!! Even better painted I bet!
Very impressive.
Always nice to see a professional work, and the results.
Excellent work as usual. This video has great editing along with music. Richard you are the best hands down. You sir can't be touched. 👍👍👍
Loving what you did in the study! It's all coming together. Remember where we started?! It's finally becoming a house!
Very nice work sir! If you want to use pocket screws, use corner posts and put mounding over the screws, at 22.5s. Glaze that to show off your joints.
Killin it like always! I just finished a two piece crown job today.. came out awesome. Its gunna have LED strip lights behind it.
Amazing job and very cool hoodies!! Could you breakdown or demonstrate crown molding on a vaulted ceiling in the future?
John gettin fancy with the camera work... we like it
Awesome work! Just ordered my shirt and hoodie. You rock bro.
the edits and the pacing of the vids are getting so good!
:31 seconds in. Priceless look.
Literally just gunna say this... video looks great already
Been watching your channel for awhile-dude you are getting to be a rockstar, selling hoodies! Good on you and keep it up-your work is always top notch
Excellent work. Looks great.
Nice Job as usual! Love your veidos. Not bad for a crayon eating Marine. Hoorah!
that biscuit joint on both ends because you flex the materiel is a very good trick
You do great work and always strive to learn more and do better. Great work ethic!
I think you should get shirts like you suggested last time that say "Lowes Depot". That would be great!
Dude you’re getting REALLY good at editing and making videos!!!
Love your videos. Thanks and keep em coming. I a going to do a extension at my house. We have 8ft ceilings but want a coffered look. Will a coffered ceiling look right with an 8ft ceiling? We can move the ceiling up to 10ft but if we don't have to that would be best. Thanks in advance.
Just bought a t shirt and a hoody for support keep up the great work been watching you since the beginning!
Looks really good, nice work! Your cameraman has got some nice angles, too.
5:38 the sound of the reverb from that multitool 😲😲😲
The echo in those cavernous Texas homes gives me the chills as I sit here in my 950sqft. :D
The music got me pumped to buy a hoodie!!!
Missed you! Glad to see another video
Just bought a hoodie!Gotta support one of the best channels on UA-cam
T's and Hoodies ordered! Merry xmas to me lol! Great work as always.
Making difficult work look effortless! The G.O.A.T.’s
5:09 whistle of approval lol!
Will you ship international, tried to buy the zip hoodie but there is only USA 😞
Lovin' the soundtrack!
Are you shipping your merch to Canada??? Please!??
Happy to see you got a surfprep. Dust looked unpleasant tho !!
Hey man check out the kneepro iii kneepads, best iv ever owned. You can run fulk speed and they wont drop as well as not cut into the back of your legs
Awesome video with great explanation. Will you sign the hoodie when I buy one lol.....
Another great job. Wish you were in Tulsa, I would hire you today.
Dude, you’re content is great but the A/V production quality is AWESOME!
You guys are really good. I enjoy watchin all your vids.
Just a FYI, when you are running the biscuit jointer along the end of the board so you could slide them in, you don't need to go all the way, That way you only need to fill one side and not both. Just stop shy of busting through the side.
What size crown did you use? The proportions look great!
The music was cool, NIN vibe. I lol'd at some of the camera moves
NIN-March of the 🐷
Dude that was a sick ass edit👍🏻
Nice editing on this video. Something different which was cool
Already ordered my Hoodie they look cool .
Totally would've bought that shirt.. how do you like that chop saw ? Almost bought one a few weeks ago.
Ordered my black zip up hoodie!
Ordered my black pullover hoodie! Cant wait to wear it!
Aw man, I was really wanting to see how you measure those inside miters
Beautiful job
That rocks! Nice job.
Love all your videos good job man
Excellent job!
Class as always great job do you ship to Ireland 🇮🇪
Sweet got a zippie and a shirt. Been hoping to get them for a while thanks!
I love this channel!
yeah man!!! the channel is goin great .... you are getting a PHD in editing
Nice job, I like the reveal.
I believe there is a face frame biscuit. You will need to change the blade in your biscuit cutter or buy a new one with the face frame blade installed. Stay safe and keep up the good work. Happy Thanksgiving.
I have a question for you and hoping you can help me. About a year ago I remodeled my living room and added crown molding and I'm noticing that the caulking has started to crack. I was wondering if that's normal. Is there a certain brand that you would recommend? Or any tips top prevent this from happening.
Which miter saw do you like better ? And be honest
New intro is great.
My PC biscuit cutter has the ability to use FF (for face frame) biscuits. Those would have fit without trimming. If you do this a lot you might want to consider this tool. But I'm mad at PC it seems they have dropped the 690 series of routers.
Does room have to be square for coffered ceilings?
Great job. I'm getting one of those hoodies
By shimming out the coffer walls and changing the inner dimensions of the coffers, did you actually add the same amount of material to all 4 walls of the coffers you shimmed out? Because otherwise, the holes for the lights which I assume were centered would not be centered anymore........?
That outro... am I playing doom?? 😍
Any chance to ship to Canada? Love the videos and all of the content, wouldn't mind giving back by ordering a shirt!
Impressive as usual. Now are you using 18 Gauge brads or 16 Gauge. You seem to have both Dewalt and Milwaukee. Are those both 18??? Of the two do you have a preference. It is a shame you cannot buy a nailer that can do a variety of gauges. For glue up do you recommend getting a 21 Gauge pin nailer or is that pretty much just a waste.
Cutting the slots for the biscuits before hanging would work, right? Just measure to where you need the slot. And you can rip thin peices of wood to use as splines instead of the biscuits. They will be easier/cleaner to cut/trim later
Tell the truth - do you add a 'schwoop' sound effect in the edit when you push that moulding into place? Lolol. Fantastic work, as always - a genuine pleasure to watch.
Just ordered 3 shirts! For me and my guys
Do you guys not use any adhesive as well as brad nails?
I have a question for you do you like the Milwaukee chop saw slide or do you like the DeWalt chop saw slide which one do you prefer
I liked the video just because I felt a 3D experience. Nice video
Curious, why don’t you use scaffolds? Ever make it up to Plano?
Slick editing😏👌
Do the shirts ship to the uk?? Would love one
Can you make a video going over your all your tools
Freaking awesome work like always!! I would love to work with you for a week( well more like just watch n learn) N I’ll even buy you lunch all week!!!
what was that tool you used to mark that reveal line..? it was cool...kinda looked like a torpedo level
Ordered submitted! Nice work as always.
Ordered a deWaukee
How come you’re not doing the full trim brother? As in doors, windows, baseboard etc
Is the Milwaukee 18g brad nailer good in your experience? I was thinking of getting one and maybe the new pin nailer from Milwaukee
I like the new "MATRIX" style on the video
Nice work brother
Surprised to see a 3/16 reveal on the coffers instead of the raised design but looks sweet regardless
Don’t think I’ve seen ya’ll use the Surfprep sanders before. How are you liking it?
