What do you think of that Wahuda bench jointer? I’m waiting for a backordered Grizzley spiral bench jointer. They have pushed my date 3 times since my Nov 1st delivery date. The newest one is Dec 29th. I originally was looking at a Wahuda and went with Grizzley because it was a little cheaper but had great reveiws. I’m about to cancel and order the Wahuda.
I have the 8 inch RIKON bench jointer: amzn.to/3F5YiGN They also make a 6 inch version: amzn.to/3XY0uc2 It has done everything I have needed it to do. It is good for pieces of wood up to 4-5 feet in length. Anything beyond that and it becomes very cumbersome. Overall good starter tool and better than using a table saw jig or some other method.
Everything looks great except I wouldnt have used the sheet metal screws because they are not what would be used on the barrel. Use galvanized or even shiny carriage bolts that would look more like a rivet.
Thank you for the feedback. I would agree that a different screw choice would have looked better. Let me know how it turns out if you make one, I would love to see it!
The first plan was to secure one part of the French cleat onto the wall directly into the studs with screws, then simply hang the shelf on the wall. After further consideration I attached 2 heavy duty D-Ring hooks to the back of the shelf. Then I was able to use high strength drywall anchors and screws to attach it.

How is the size mate?
This was about 24" in diameter and can hold 4-6 bottles of your favorite spirit.
Only thing i'm not understanding is how did you secure it to the wall? Very cool video otherwise!
like did you literally just put it on the part you already secured to the wall and just hang it there or how did you secure those together...ect
