Thanks for the tip on getting rid of the frost. Mix your Agrax with lahmian medium instead of water. For Army painter one would mix the washes with their mixing medium. 1:1 ratio but you can play around.
Well, this finally made me pull the trigger on getting some of the Victrix stuff. What incredible work you did on these. Hope mine can turn out a quarter as good. Question though, where did you source the .50-cal? Unless it's not pictured on Victrix's site, it doesn't appear to be in the pack. Thanks again, this is awesome.
Thanks! It's kind of hard not to buy cool shit. . . The .50-cal is from Pendraken. They are 10mm miniatures, but they are actually a little more beefy than the 12mm guys. They are great for filling in the gaps, though. Minifigs has the water-cooled M1917 Brownings, if you want to do a historical battalion, rather than the 'O' Group list. The M1919 Brownings are company weapons, but this isn't reflected in the rules.
Thanks! Do you know what? I didn't show it! (Wadda dick)! Sorry, I thought, for some reason, that I showed everybody in my KNIL video, but I didn't. Way to many glue fumes. . . Here, I'll give you a recipe, for now, and I will make a video on my groundwork next. That way it will be easier to find, that makes sense. I use a paper mache product called Celuclay. You can buy it in craft or art supply stores. I put in a pinch of that with a bit of beach sand and some model railroad ballast. You don't need much of the sand/ballast. I put in a gob of stucco textured acrylic gel, also bought from the art supplier, and a gob of the cheapie craft paint I use for terrain. With and eye dropper, I add water and mix until it has a consistency like oatmeal. I scoop it on and position it with small sculpting tools. As I type this, I'm pretty sure I've shown this, I'm just not sure on which video. I will make one solely on groundwork. Actually, I just found it in my Birch Tree tutorial: ua-cam.com/video/6oswTiGGWvA/v-deo.html around 15:15. I'll still do a specific video, though, that will be easier for people to find and for me to refer to.
@@daviessuperchannel this is great, thank you. I am interested in this for 15mm ancients, looks perfect for Greece as well as Italy/Sicily as you've intended. Thanks again!
Good to see your work. I’m a bit confused though as you appear to be doing multiple forces for multiple games systems. So what is your intent here and will you produce any wargames or games on the channel or are you just modeling and painting etc
I am producing war gaming elements, but my channel is mainly focused on the hobby element. Photographing and filming games stresses me out. Maybe if I join forces with someone with the gear and patience. I may do an AAR someday.
@@daviessuperchannel perhaps we can help some day although we are focused on Africa, the Middke East and will be in the Far East in years to come. We have the capability to do epic Europe but to run a campaign in these takes so much time as the sets can take hours to put up. The modeling and research are big for us too but so is actual planning and tactical execution. Think we are the only people exploring this at the moment outside the military. Getting some great interesting tactical actions because of this. Best wishes
Very nicely done. Like the labels and the colors really pop up while still being realistic.
Love the intro music, great tutorial on how you tackled painting them and your reference material for your choices they look excellent
Great attention to detail as every Ryan. Great stuff. Cheers, Dex.

This is great, top notch work! Apologies but I cannot find your video with the ground basing material, can you link to it please?
