To this day, Selma's death still breaks my heart, a mother gone too soon, damn i wish everyone can give her a big hug and somehow save her without sacrificing her son's operation, but i guess this world is too cruel for a happy ending even for a vulnerable woman like her. thanks for your brilliant performance Miss Björk, love you forever.
How can someone play in just ONE film, losing themselves so entirely to the role they become the character, win best actress in Cannes, and decide to never be acting again. Björk can.
She me too'ed against Lars, she says acting in this movie was a traumatic experience akin to "emotional rape". No wonder she never wanted to act again, even though her performance was brilliant

Björk is obviously an eccentric and volatile character, as well as being a strong feminist. It doesn't surprise me that she made the claim during the #MeToo movement, as Lars von Trier is also known to be a controversial character to work with (the 'ascetic auteur'-type).

her performance was very raw and brilliant. shes amazing
the scene in the cell where shes trying to cheer herself up with the sound of music song 'my favourite things' is absolutely haunting,,, in my opinion
