    add a thin layer of sand on top of the saw dust. keeps the top from burning out and creates a kind of kiln. burns slower and more evenly ; )

    I was surprise how well this worked and the small amount of ash clean up. It is a long running, small low heat fire and best used for a small and well insulated area

    How efficient is this heater? I see you wearing a lot of coats and gloves in you other videos. Just curious. Thanks for sharing this, I have never seen a heat source like this before.

      I don't think he wants it too warm in the workshop. The wood needs to be kept at a constant low temperature all year. The heat is probably just enough for him not to freeze.
