- This is my journey to my dream company, cyberbacker. Here are some of the helpful tips I applied during the initial interview and what are the questions being asked during the one-on-one session with the interviewer. I hope this one will be a helpful one for you.

Don’t be discouraged, bro. I applied there and had a brief 5-minute initial interview. Despite my 5 years of BPO experience in voice escalation, I was turned down even though the questions were basic. I was sure I'd pass since I met all the requirements. Just to share my observation during the interview: I noticed that the woman interviewing me didn’t make eye contact, and her voice was very soft, almost as if she was mumbling. This indicates flaws in the hiring process, and I feel there is some insecurity and discrimination. I inquired about the rejection via email but no response. Such behavior reflects poorly on the company.

Siguro po, practice some vocabulary test, synonyms tests, and in general, mga UPCAT exams, since medyo mahirap talaga ang CBPA and time pressured din siya talaga.

Hi, out of topic lang po. Suggest ko lang na you can use background music pero tone it down lang po. Especially, wala naman pong copyright tong video mo. This can help your viewers po to focus on what you're saying and hindi nadi-distract sa bg music. Suggestion lang po as a fellow video editor. Good luck on your future endeavors! :)

hello, i just finished the values and assessment 2 days ago, and since holiday, I was given the chance to take the initial interview since tapos naman na yung assesment. And pagkaclick ko sa link ay initial interview agad since there was a non-disclosure notice na nag appear. Should I take that 24-48 hours? or it's okay kahit maglagpas basta as soon as I am ready? I haven't started the initial interview as I am nervous talaga.

The usual positions for newbies are Social Media backer and Cyberbacker I think. But my tip is to pick a position na gusto mo at may idea ka sa mga job description para hindi ka mahirapan. Take risk kahit may takot, aja!!

Happy to help! But to be honest, yes! I can say na medyo mataas ang expectation nila kaya I would suggest to study talaga especially sa mga basic interview questions.

I think it is less than 15 minutes since there are a lot of applicants during that time. Also, interview Q's vary from one applicant to another.
Hi after the initial interview how many hours/days before you received the CBPA invitation?
As far as I remember, I waited 24-48 hours to receive that.
I have attempted initial interview 3 times but I failed twice .i want to get job and they also asked a laptop backup..I have my 3rd one initial interview cleared but it said it does not match personality test.....any reason?
That's actually my same and most people's sentiments during the application period in Cyberbacker. That's why I just concluded that the company is not for me. Praying for you to have the job. God bless!

Hello Sir, I just wanna ask if you completed the Values Assessment, then proceed to Initial Interview, is it required to launch meeting immediately or you will wait for the confirmation?. Newbie here. Hope you notice.
Hi there, actually you can immediately launch the meeting for your initial interview, and you can also take your time have your initial interview any time or day you want, you don’t need the confirmation anymore.

Marami po silang open position, you may check their website po and check the careers.
Nagemail po sila sakin at processing napo yung Mga inang habang sa Application. Nakuha po ba kyo sa Position

Hi, it would be better if you lower down the volume of the music background when you speak. It's a bit difficult focus on your speech when the background is overshadowing your voice.

Hi, I am not part of their employee in the Cyberbacker. I failed their application.
Nung una ka nag prepare ng 1 month bro pano process nun? Nasagutan mo na ba lahat ng assesment questions nila nun tapos bago mo pasukan link nag prepare ka muna ba ng 1 month? Or nag prepare ka muna tapos sinagutan mo assesment sabay interview?
Hello po! Sorry for the confusion po. But, ang naging process ko po that time ay nagprepare muna ng 1 month, then nag nag fill out na ng form for the initial interview na, since sa pagkakaaalam ko dati bawal itengga yung application mo for the purpose of your preparation.
Paano kapag wala pa akong laptop since my current is not office work, kumbaga bibili palang ako kapag nahired ako
Okay lang naman po, pero during the Final Interview, they prefer po na naka laptop or desktop na po kaagad. Also, it gives impression na po kaagad kapag during initial interview, naka phone lang po kayo.

Hello. Is it really necessary na dapat wala kang ibang online job kapag mag-aapply ka sa cyberbacker?
I'm planning to apply sana, as of the moment I'm an ESL teacher, ayaw ko namang ilet go ang pagiging ESL teacher since di pa naman sure if mahihire ako. Any opinion po about this?
AFAIK, okay lang naman since you're still in the application process, but then they will ask you in your final interview about that since as pagkakaalam ko you need to commit to their company ONLY.

Pure english po, to be honest once na nagtagalog ka in any conversation, hindi po kayo makakapasa.
PAG BA NAG SEND NA SAYO SI CYBERBACKER NG EMAIL FOR INICIAL INTERVIEW ? ANYTIME KA PWEDE PUMASOK KAHIT AFTER 1 WEEK ? O MAEEXPIRE YUNG INTERVIEW?
ASFAIK, anytime po. But I do suggest to apply nalang once you're ready na talaga para after you filled out the form, direkta na rin po kayo sa interview.
Please try explain in English if possible. Some may not understand other languages. 🙏

hello! i am a newbie into the world of backers/VA's pero persistent po talaga ako na ma-hire lalo na nitong cyberbacker na dream company ko din po. i have submitted my application/resume 20 days ago and hindi pa po ako nakakapag-initial interview. i messaged their page and sabi naman po nila is okay lang daw po if hindi ko agad natake yung interview and won't affect my hiring process din daw po if ever. from your experience, okay nga lang po ba yun?
also, magkano po kaya ang rate ng salary ang puwede kong sabihin if no experience po ako
hi, yes okay naman yun, then if you're already prepared na, balikan mo lang yung application mo sa cyberbacker and andun na rin kaagad ang link for initial interview.
when it comes to salary, I still suggest na magbigay ka ng range (e.g 15k - 20k) at hindi 'yung fixed preferred salary mo. can't give numbers since hindi ko rin alam ang mga skillset mo e
Hi, during initial interview, totoo po ba na kailangan may proof ka na agad na may backup device ka pati na rin backup na internet service provider. Kasi kung wala raw po ang sagot, chances are hindi ka po magproceed sa next step or magfail ka (?)
Hello, actually hindi naman siya totally need, as long as you have the preferred device talaga na required nila, and once na nag tanong sila then say your plan kung halimbawang mawalan kayo ng kuryente same as internet. In my experience, lagi ko sinasabi ko na may nearby coffee shop sa amin na I can maximize since may mga free internet at I can charge my laptop etc.
Also, in initial interview in my experience, ang pinakamalaking factor para hindi ka nila i-consider sa next process ay yung sasabihin mong salary requirement mo (maybe too high), then your primary device talaga (if ang gamit mo during the interview ay nasa 4gb of ram lang).

Yes po, they always required camera during the interview.
Nag rerequire po ba sila ng experience sa position na ina applyan?
Some of the positions ay nagre-require, pero most of the positions ay hindi, you may also check the careers in their website po.
Helo, im planning to apply this week, I am just curious if the amercan culture of addressing the interviewer with their first name applies during the interview? Or should I address them ma'am and sir?
This is a really good question sir, but based on my research during the time I am preparing, yes it applies. I think that is also one way of building the executive assistant attitude even though the interviewers are also Filipino. But if you are hesitant, yes you may still address them, ma'am and sir.

Hello, it varies po eh. Some interviewers told the applicant after the interview while in Zoom that they passed. Some were not haha

I don't think na hindi ka nakapasa because naka pc ka, as long na na meet mo po ang technical requirements nila, pasok po yun.
Ano po palang inapplyan ninyo? Usually po they post yung mga hiring nila and usually all their positions ay open po talaga for appication. How do you rate your interview po?
@@angelogelera siguro 7/10 nag apply ako as a email administrator or data entry, actually yung interviewer pa nga yung malabo ang sagot sa tanong ko na "what can you possibly see me to fit around for this role and what could i have expect over the 6 months?"
