Walking the ridge line is my favorite part of these hikes. It feels like walking on top of the world and reminds me that, with determination, focus and, one step at a time, (almost) any obstacle can be overcome.

You always want to hike this loop up Falling Waters and down Bridle Path trails. That way you are looking at the beautiful waterfalls as you hike, and not walking away from them. Also its better to hike up slippery spots than down. Also the Bridle Path is a little milder descent-- better for old knees. Best hike in the East!

This looks like the big moutain too.
Yes - it is a decent size mountain with it's 1,160 meter elevation gain. It is a 3 hour drive to get there from where I live.
