Devin, you're the reason vases are the most 3D printed objects
Wow I literally just opened the UA-cam app on my phone and had this video at the top of my home page "1 minute ago" nice timing Devin!
Edit, after watching: Great vid, excited to see what you do with this series! Stay inspired cool guy
PLEASE MAKE YOUR OWN DESIGN OF RUBIK'S CUBE!!!!
It has already been done before, go check some videos like the ones from oskar van deventer
Can you make a 3D building / town
dude, genius
The Diabetic Life thats is a smart idea
The Diabetic Life yes please
The Diabetic Life agreed
There is at least one 3D printer that prints buildings that I'm aware of. It's pretty big, though. =D
Been on youtube for more than a decade, one of my favorite videos to date.
You really do have some fantastic ideas mate. The Tilt Vase is outstanding yet such a simple idea. It just needed the right person to come up with it.
Who would have thought a "vase" video would be interesting? NOT me! But... this was great! I didn't think you could put a printer on it's side. Those vases look amazing. Great work. Looking forward to the next in the series.
I'm excited about this series.
Super cool, Dev !! Thanks !!
Awesome! Try the drip vase in a dark color with more drips hanging off the sides and maybe even inside the other side of the vase!
Yes, this inovation is why I subscribed! Love this series!
You have an unique and creative way to think. Keep doing this and you'll be amazed about how far you can go with your talent.
I'm from Brazil and you are an inspiration to me.
Vase Exploration! Great name and fun concept!
Your drip vase may be a very interesting as part of a waterfall. Where the vase is tilted and water is dripping showly of the tips of the plastic drips of your vase. Just a thought. I am happy to like your video. Lee Noring
Pretty cool. I hope you'll show the failures as well as the successes.
Always inspiring to see new fresh ideas like this! Great video!
This really has to be the most creative 3D printing channel around.
I didn't really like vases either but you really changed my view! Really great stuff
dude you rock man, keep them coming. Devin do you have a vid how you design the dual color vase, black n yellow
The tilded vase, fantastic :D
You crazy man, nice work, great vid & channel
Love these seires pls continue!
Good pun and can't wait for more in this series
Gonna be honest, this actually might be the future of vases.
Gosh Devon it's always damn near 1 am when you upload
Cass Andra it was 3:00 here when he uploaded
He lives in california so its one for him too
Cool Stuff California time it's one
Can you make 3-D printed brush/comb idk why just first thing that came to mind
Brilliant !
Have you checked out wire mode in Cura? It totally blew my mind, it's a completely different way of printing... And I bet that a vase in wire mode would look awesome.
Pretty cool man good job n stuff
lol we share the same obsession with vase mode... but I didn't think of printing with the machine on its friggin side!? You mad man!
+Maker's Muse haha well part of the inspiration was seeing you manhandle the Trinus while is was printing :P
Hah! ok so how about this then... change orientation mid print to make them stick out in different directions? :P
Make Anything how you doing, just bouda cr10s every time I print a vase the bottom got hole in it any suggestion would help me
"Not my best pun, BUT IM STICKING WITH IT" is my new catch phrase LOL
Nice prints
I would love to see some of the Vases turned into lamps
I think I'm just a little *cough* a lot *cough* too excited for this series 😂
awesome! ! ! ! ! !
Vase the final frontier!
Any tips for making vases water tight? Awesome video btw
pretty interesting concept o.o
Loved it, ;)
Yay new video
well done
Can you give us a rundown if your top 3d printers you used so far? What is your current favorite?
You should do a video on flexible vases
id like to know the process to make custom base for the tilted vase as im am still new to using fusion 360
Printer?! Rly cool...
Those tilt vases are really pretty! Hey, I wonder if you could print the two parts of velcro with the sideways printer?
3D printed velcro would be pretty amazing!
Hey Devin, please do things with voronois!
what about using the drips connecting two vases?
This video is avaseing!
hoorayitsmolly *.* are you a dad?
Dad jokes.
Matthew Hutchinson seriously?
hoorayitsmolly *.* Doesn't work if you're British. :(
Heh heh. Best comment I've seen in a while
Phoenix Wilde well that's deVASEtating (should work)
Devin the vase man 😁.
Since you mentioned Polysmooth, I have a role of polysmooth, I don't have the smoother but I have the pla black and I'm having a heck of a time getting it to print without a lot of dripping all over the place. Also stringing is horrible so do you have any advice or settings on how to print that polysmooth.
I use simplify3D and I have a cr10.
I tried lowering the temperature, changing the retraction all my other pla print fine but when I I put the polysmooth in it does not.
Any advice or video you have would be appreciated.
Thank you
maybe you should try to make interlocking blocks. They wouldn't be lego though, they would have hexagon shaped pegs and holes. They could be called hexo.
Vase. The final frontier.
Please combine the two ideas by making a tilted vase on a printer that’s in its side with drips
Why is there a little zigzag on the grey and white tilted vase?
Can you put any 3d Printer on it's side to print?
I've just realized that your channel name is perfect marketing.
How many of the "useful' vases holds water?
Yay
Is it possible to make cups and plates using a 3D printer? Vases often hold water, but for something one will eat off of, is it safe?
Witch printer prints the best
Please try electro- plating prints or was it electrolysis...
would anyone be willing to walk me through recreating the tilt vase in fusion as i am still learning fusion 360
if you put a delta on a roller, could you time the rotation so you could actually make the 'drip vase' but all around?
That would be crazy!
After some investigation i found a printer that may allow you to do that very easily, it's called R-360 ( reprap.org/wiki/R_360 ). Time to investigate the possibilities perhaps?
You should 3d print a klein bottle!
can u do the hairy lion?
Take me to Vase Town daddy!
Try to make minecraft steve using the 3D pen is a good idea in my opinion
Noti sqaudd!!!
I would do things like these... But, I don't think I can do vase mode on makerbot print. And also it's a school printer haha
If I had a printer with a full shell, not a Wanhao Di3, I would totally print something sideways like that drop vase.
ome one should do the drip vase one in space
I've printed one vase, a failed fidget spinner, and no benchies lol
Make a springo of vase
at 5:49 why is there a retraction seam if it's printed in vase mode?
That one actually isn't printed in vase mode, otherwise the built in support wouldn't work.
You could have put a normal process for the custom support and a vase process onwards :P
try 3d printing bugs I know you already did a 3d pen bug video but just a suggestion
Can I buy one?
That tilted vase is UA related! Accident? Meaby...
Try a vase where you print 50% then pause it, remove the print then continue the print
@5:07 i feel so dumb i didnt even realize what you were doing until after you showed it printing, im not sure if you're clever or im just slow :p probably both
He nice vid
Do you think these dimensions are too big for a chromatic vase?
27.5cm*27.5cm*35cm, 136 grams
i'm early for the first time ever..
Cant wat 4 next episod!
wouldn the drip vase be nonfunctional as a vase tho? bedcause of the holes and all, just saying
+David Ext most of these wouldn't hold water with some kind of coating or treatment. But you can always display dry flowers!
Make Anything // 3D Printing Channel ahh, so they're mainly for looking nice?
based on thing you made in the and of vid I can say eather of 2 things
1. make a print like "Harry Lion" but a cat instead of lion, and pat him at end of each vid like a villian
*OR*
2. get yourself a cat (can be a bad idea cuz he/she will be in the way when you work)
+Artem Zhuravski I hear cats like to lay on heated build plates.. I would have one happy cat 😋
will be funny if you will find yourself a cat only cuz I said to
Next exploration is tilting the computer while building the model.
Hi
1:00 in the morning I realise why I'm on UA-cam all night
