HEY Y’ALL! Merina is my name and Mobile Home Livin’ is my thang! Around here I’m known for mobile home makeovers and large family mobile home livin’! I used to do mobile home livin’ in a trailer park in Tennessee. We’ve set out on a new journey and bought our dream home - a double wide mobile home on some acreage in the hills of Tennessee! We’re a homeschooling family of 6 & we are crazy about Jesus!
My community is one of the most loving, kind, and welcoming communities on this platform so pull up a seat and stay awhile 🥰
Hi Merina, so I’m commenting on something you said last week. You said you still don’t know why people like you. Oh Merina, let me count the ways 😂: First of all you’re funny. You don’t try to be funny, you’re just naturally funny and you always make me laugh. Sometimes I laugh so hard my coffee shoots out of my nose 😂 You’re kind. Even when most people would truly struggle to be kind in certain situations, you are always kind. You introduced me to Jesus, now I have him to lean on in difficult times (what a difference that has made!) you’re always patient with your children and you’re such a good mom! You’re honest and humble and let me tell you that is such a refreshing quality especially in these times when a lot of people hide their true self. You don’t judge people (also a refreshing quality) You’re not afraid to make mistakes and you learn from those mistakes. You’re a friend who invites us all into your home and life to hang out every week. I’m a counselor and work in social work which is very rewarding and equally stressful, I LOVE having my “Rina time” after work or on the weekends with a cup of coffee. I look forward to it always!!!! Anyway I could keep going on and on about WHY people like you but i think my comment is long enough lol! And I hope you understand now why we adore you! ❤
You said my exact words.
Yes That!!! ❤❤❤
I love you and your family so very much. I pray
for you all. And so happy God put you in my life🙏🙏❤️❤️
I love this in a recipe in a slow cooker.
Think those are nectarines😂
Many people can leave their marks on your life, but only a few can leave their marks on your heart. You are one of the very few, my friend! I love watching you and your beautiful family. Y'all always brighten my evening/ day.
I agree with Mrs. Alma Trumble! We love you!
Totally agree!!😊
Been here for awhile I just love your honesty an you are so genuine . You always make us smile an your family is growing up fast .they are beautiful ❤️ as you are .
Same. I look forward to her videos more than any other
I enjoy watching her videos.
Chicken breast, a block of cream cheese, a can of cream of mushroom, and a packet of ranch powder. Put it with potatoes, pasta, or over veggies. It’s delicious!
Hello from a first time momma to a 6 week old baby girl who is finally seeing the light at the end of the trenches of postpartum depression. With the help of Jesus and my doctors, I’m finally feeling like myself and able to fully be there for my baby and my husband. You’ve given me the motivation I’ve needed the last few weeks to just keep going. You’re always a bright and relatable light in my life and I thank you for that!
That sounds yummy! Sensing love, light and prayers your way. Mama to this here. I've had ppd twice and it was rough. You've got a great outlook though! ❤
Awe, he puts it on the top shelf because he loves being your knight in shining armor ❤️❤️
You are a riot! Fresh peaches have pits😂😂
Exactly what I was thinking, my husband does little things like that and anytime I asked "why?!" He says "so you'll always need me" as if I wouldnt....he's my world. ♡♡♡
@@best_life_becca Same! I know my husband loves feeling needed I'm just doing small things for me
Make a yellow cake in a 9×13..when it comes out of the oven take a fork and tear it up..pour 1 can of condensed milk over it and let it cool...take frozen strawberries in sugar..the are in a container in the frozen section and put it over the cake..top with whipped topping..BEST STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE EVER! can add pineapple...also donthe same but instead of strawberries..use cream of coconut..and coconut flakes..best coconut cake ever!
Omg
I have to try!
So try it without the strawberries and whipped cream… just a can of condensed milk over baked cake with lots of holes poked, put in fridge for hour or so. It is the most simple best flavor sweetness and refreshing because it’s cold. The strawberry is delicious but this is in its own right
That sounds delicious! Thank you for sharing.
Yum!!!
Salisbury steak meatballs!!
1 Lb Ground hamburger
1 egg
1/4 cup plain bread crumbs
1 teaspoon roasted garlic paste
1 tblspn garlic powder
1 packet Lipton French onion dip mix. Combined, then make into little meatballs, place in baking pan and cover with brown gravy, place in 375° oven for 30 minutes and then enjoy. Serve over mashed potatoes or egg noodles or nice. PS, double the recipe if you need to. This is my hubbys recipe.
Here's a peach tip - once you peel the peach, run your knife around the peach. Start where the stem would be and go the whole circumference. Then you can just twist the peach in half and the pit should come out easily. Then you are able to slice the peaches up easily. Some peaches are a variety that the peach pit doesn't come out - it clings to the peach. But it's still a lot easier to slice up. Hope that helps. :) From a peach lover...and a person who's canned a million quarts of peaches in my life. :)
I was about to add that tip! Between you and me though I believe that she was using plums or something related to them. Still tasty! Blessings
@@MariaMoseley-tz8cfI thought that too
Nope, those were peaches... that's the variety/kind that Walmart sells.
They may be a “peach variety” but they look like nectarines. Not a big deal because they taste very similar. Definitely easier to slice the peach (and less waste) to cut it like SweetlyHome suggested. Merina!! Girl, you gotta try raw peaches. Let that juice run down your chin and your elbows-they are soooo good (if they are ripe and soft, not crunchy).
It’s never too early to teach your kids about saving money. Good job Mom!
In my home ec class in the 70’s, my teacher made sure we cleaned up our kitchen as we cooked! She was a stickler about it and it was part of our grade.
Over 45 years later, it’s just second nature for me and I still do it! Thank you Mrs.Marquette for insisting we clean up as we go!
Honey, those are nectarines. I'm not trying to be hurtful. I just want to be helpful. Peaches and nectarines look very similar, but Peaches have fuzz and the taste and texture are very different.
I'm sure this was still yummy!
Love you girl! 💜
Asking y’all for prayers for my brother in law and his kids right now. I can’t get into details just know I love these boys like my own and the situation they are in right now isn’t safe. Their father is doing what he can but needs strength during this time!
Praying for your family🙏🏻💕
sending prayers
Praying for your BIL and his children. May God also grant you peace concerning the situation. 🙏❤️
Sending prayers 🙏
I pray that they continue to endure the trials and tribulations that they are going through. Is you sister ok? I pray for her too.❤❤❤❤❤❤
Here’s a great kitchen tip get yourself a pair of kitchen shears…use for opening bags of stuff, cutting pizza, chicken so handy and so much easier
Back in the day my bank used to have a Christmas Club where you would deposit x amount a week into a Christmas account and that way before the end of the year you would have that money for Christmas saved ! 😊
Best tip of the vlog, "Clean up as you go." That makes for a less stressful meal because there's less ti clean up after dinner and you can get to relaxing with the family faster. Right on!
Here is an easy recipe for you. It’s called “Lazy Man Lasagna.” Brown some ground beef with an onion. Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder. You need two jars of marinara and a family size bag of cheese Ravioli. Line the bottom of the pan with 1/3 of the ravioli, cover with marinara and add 1/2 of ground meat. Repeat until you use all the ingredients. Cover with shredded Parmesan cheese. Bake at 375 for about 35 minutes to cook the pasta through (don’t boil the pasta first). Add a salad and some garlic bread. Easy and yummy. Can’t wait to see you test it on the channel.
I tried this recipe about 2 weeks ago for the first time. Was so good! Definitely will make it again🙂
Try this casserole slice potatoes lay in casserole dish take pork chops lay over potatoes mix cheddar cheese soup and French onion soup together pour over pork chops. Cook 350 for 45 mins or so.
Merina i am 53 years and I envy you. I don,t know how or where you get the energy todo what you do. I struggle on a daily basis to put a smile on my face. Luv watching you and your family grow.
Merina…you and your peach had me laughing out loud! Girl, you are a ray of sunshine…made for this purpose. Don’t sell yourself short..ever! Love you and yours bunches! 🥰🥰🥰🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻Miss Linda
We just bought a doublewide, and I had to use the envelope method to be able to do the remodeling on it. It took me over a year to save money to go toward the updating and remodeling that I knew I would probably have. I underestimated the amount I would need, but I’ll keep on saving until I get what I need.
Merina, you might think you can't cook or bake, but you are so BRAVE to try new things. That is a talent!❤ LauraD
Lol sweetheart those are nectarines I love you❣️🤗🤗
I thought so too.
They may be peaches. I have bought some that look like nectarines too. It's hard to find normal peaches here in GA at the store.
Definitely nectarines.
HILARIOUS!!!
😂 I’ve been trying to find
peaches like that , they looked so easy to peel and with such a small pit. I was clueless they weren’t really peaches!!
In my defense, I live in the North! 🤪
@@squarek27 Yes there are different types of peaches, and they may have been peaches.
Hi Merina,i was so impresed with you tonight, its not the only time, but tonight hit my heart. 🥰You said your not smart enough to be telling people how to save money because of where u came from.Well honey your wrong the Lord uses people who apply thenselves and get out of money problems,or any other ones someone might be going thru.you apply what you've learned and that's what makes you someone who can teach someone how to be sucessful in life, and your teaching the kids, how wonderful, hopefully they will apply this thru life, and be sucessful, thanks to a mom who did something about her problems. Darn girl i love you, and am so very proud of you, your a smart cookie so stop saying your not❤💕💚
My momma made this for us (it fed our family of 6, with leftovers). Brown 1 lb ground beef and 1 small diced onion. Add 1 can tomato soup and 1 can Campbell’s Golden Mushroom soup, 1/2 soup can of milk + 1/2 soup can of water. Add 1 lb box of elbow macaroni, cooked al dente. Add 8 ounce block of Colby cheese, cubed. Stir all together and pour into large casserole dish. Bake, uncovered for 30 to 45 minutes at 350.
How many people,? Isn't that a lot of cheese?
@@annielehnhardt_kolakowski5818 8 oz is a lot for an entire casserole dish? I'm thinking that sounds about right... am I missing something?
Hi ❣️ and, thanks for asking me to clarify. 8 ounces to 1 pound of noodles is correct. With any savory recipe, you can adjust the cheese to your liking. Our family was 6 cheese lovers 😊.
Very easy crockpot recipe.....2 chicken breasts or pack of chicken tenders, add a pack of taco seasoning and a jar of salsa. Shred chicken and put in tortillas with usual taco toppings!
This sounds good, thank you!!! 🌮
@@meganfitzpatrick1019 You're very welcome!!!
Recipe challenge accepted! My Momma made a dish we called Mock Enchilada and when i say it is kid crack i am not joking, ws loved that stuff!! Super easy to make as its a casserole...here ya go!- Take 2 cans of your favorite chili, i add extra beans, pinto or black, warm it on stove, meanwhile preheat your oven to 375, and get a rectangular( 13x9) baking dish and spray or butter it well. You need a bunch of cheddar cheese, a family size bag of Fritos, i use the dipper ones but Momma always used the normal ones lol. Put a layer of chili, a layer of fritos, layer of cheese, chili, fritos, cheese, then top with more fritos and cheese! Put it in the oven until the top starts bubbling and the cheese is turning brown..takes about 25- 30 mins. Serve with sour cream and your kids are gonna go nuts, lmbo❤
Forgot to say shredded cheddar not chunks🥰
Chili pie ! Love it sonic used to have it years ago
I love what you do for this community. Thank you for being you and sharing it with the rest of us ❤
Usually the first comments I see are people asking you to pray for them. Since your heart broke, I see people trying to lift you and your family up. Its nice to see. You are a nice person. Block away at the negativity. You have so much to give. Don't let meanies drag you down.
An easy and cheap soup recipe.
1 bag frozen hashbrowns
1 container (4 cups) chicken broth
1 packet of dry country gravy mix
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cheddar cheese soup
Put all ingredients in crockpot and mix well. Cook on low 4-5 hours.
It is great served with a salad and some crusty bread.
No meat?
@@meganfitzpatrick1019 you can add bacon if you like, but it is a potato soup.
I love soup and will definitely give this a try. TFS!
Variation of your Chicken Casserole we call Chicken Divan.
Add to 9x13 pan:
Cooked Chicken breast- cut into chunks
2 cans Cream of Chicken Soup
1 large bag Frozen broccoli- bite size
Top with shredded cheddar cheese
Make 2 boxes of stuffing as directed- add on top of cheese
Cover and bake at 350 for 1 hour
I just have to say that you and your family are at the top of my list of favorite UA-cam families. I love how real you are. You do make me feel like we are friends. Thanks for all your hard work. 💜
You are the most delightful lady on the planet.
You did so well for a first time mama! Just remember peaches have a big ol nut in the middle, like a avocado!!! Canned peaches were raw, but once they sit in juice or syrup it is not considered a raw fruit anymore, so save a peach let it get kinda soft not so firm, then it will be super juicy and eat it raw, they are delicious!!! So much better then canned, .. well to me, but you may prefer canned..but they are good!!!😊😊❤❤
An easy great recipe is parmesan crusted chicken. mix A half cup mayo with a half cup grated parmesan cheese and a pinch of pepper. Spread on chicken breast then top with panko bread crumbs and a sprinkle of Italian seasoning. Bake at 425 degrees for 25 minutes.
Your innocence is refreshing, God’s blessings on your household!
Hi Merina 🤗🤗 I have a quick easy recipe.
1 - smoked sausage (hillshire farm 14oz is what I use)
1 - can diced potatoes (drained)
1 - diced yellow onion
4 - cans cut green beans (drain 2 cans)
1 tablespoon knorr chicken broth (powder chicken bouillon)
1 - can of mushrooms (optional)
cook everything together until onions are clear.
on the side 1 cup white long grain rice (or minute rice)
put rice in bowl and greenbean/smoked sausage mix on top
Double for more than 4 servings.
I love you just the way God made you Rina!! ❤❤❤❤
Its so good to see you smile again. Way to keep moving forward.
I meant to tell you last week that I miss these kinds of videos! I'm still praying for you and your family.
Oh my sweet girl!! Watching you cut that peach!! Lol another reason of the millions that I love you!!! Love you great big!! And everything looks yummy so far!!
I’m loving the new videos. Don’t get me wrong, I love the mobile home updates, but these videos we get you talking the whole time. I’m a sucker for everything you do, but do more of these! Love you ❤❤❤❤
You are hilarious! I am so thankful Jesus sent me to your channel! Please never stop doing videos. I look forward to seeing you and Shane.
I've been doing the cash envelope system for several years. We never went on vacation before that and now the past two years we enjoy a 4 day beach trip. I also have several categories that I save for. It works great for me and I highly recommend starting if you haven't. Every dollar adds up with time.
LOVE YOU MERINA!!! Thank you for all you do. It Always makes my days brighter seeing you and the family❤❤❤❤❤❤
Merina. I am almost 66. I spent YEARS using the envelope method!! That's how I paid bills and had enough for groceries ect. I kept the power on without being so broke.
Now, I get a check once a month. This Christmas is my son's 50th birthday. Now, don't be adding up how old I was. I got married at 14. Had him at 16 . He takes care of his Momma!!
I want to get him a gold chain for his big birthday. It's a big purchase. I have to do it a little along still after all these years it still works
Married at 14? Not to be salty, but isn't that illegal?
@@cleansweep1074 no, it's not. I wasn't pregnant so I had go go out of state and got my mom to sign. If I had been pregnant I could have stayed here in Georgia. Remember, this was 1973. We grew up faster...or I did. My friends went out drinking and smoking. I stayed home, cleaned house and had a couple of kiddos. Just different strokes for different folks
Thanks for the added tips today. As I have stated before we are 65/69 diy our forever home - prolly for the 10th time. throughout our lives🤣🤷♀️ and being retired with a minimal amount of SS, a diy renovation is costly. So I have always been someone to figure out how to get the “look” but at a non-look price. At this age I have one son 35, divorced with 2 kids 14 & 4, and 3 other grandchildren from 19-22 and often my extra pennys windup in their pockets due to life unexpected issues. Or my bucks wind up in their pockets and the pennys wind up in mine trying to survive and my diy projects. So cutting cost on every level- food, scrap wood, thrift store and market place is my go tos. And I am not beyond slamming on the brakes for a curb find. Keep offering tips to help survive in this world of inflation ( a jar of mayonnaise $8.98😱) we all gonna need these tips !!
Meri a I love that you share the struggles with money, income and savings. Even speaking up for those who can’t save bc income barely covers expenses. Our mandated schooling would rather decide Pluto isn’t a planet after years of teaching that it is and Change your children/grandchildren understanding of a planet from mine so we are both confused INSTEAD of teaching about balancing a checkbook, saving, how credit scores can make or break you especially when struggling and have a need for necessary car repair or hot water heater replacement. Even if you have it all together it never hurts to hear someone’s struggles to help remind us how fortunate we are and hopefully never stop saving & making insightful decisions ❤
To make this peach recipe easier and more economical. Get a big can of peaches and use the juice from the can and dice up the big pieces. Hope that helps.
You can feed the peach peels to your chickens, they'll love it!
You can also peel peaches by cutting a little x in the end (not the stem end) and dropping them in boiling water for about two minutes. Then put them in an ice bath and the skin will pull off without wasting the peach flesh. They have pits. So if you cut it in a circle around the pit (stem end to other end and back) pull it apart to remove the pit. Cling peaches will be harder to split. Non-cling peaches will let go of the seed easier.
A favorite, easy casserole here is taco mac n cheese. You need: 1# ground beef, 1 taco mix packet, 2 boxes of Mac n cheese, and shredded cheddar to cover 9x13 pan. Make the boxes of Mac n cheese according to directions. Make the taco meat according to directions. Mix in 9x13, cover with grated cheddar and bake at 350°F til cheese is melted. (About 15 minutes) Can be made ahead and kept in refrigerator. I don't put cheddar on till after it's baked 30 minutes (from frig) and warmed thru. Then top with cheddar and melt for 10-15 minutes. ❤
We do this too but add in a can of sweet peas! So yummy.
Good night Merina and Shane and family and thank you for sharing your beautiful day 🌞
Miss ma’am…cooking from a box is still home cooking to me. It’s whatever you can do in lieu of eating out. Yay you!!!!
So thankful that you share those glimpses of your life with us. Thank you! I love watching you.
You know me when you do COOKING....I'm hooked!
Try this recipe!!!! Chicken Cajun pasta
One pack of chicken
One pack of Cajun sausage
One pack of cheese tortellini
One block of cream cheese
One pint heavy cream
Grated Parmesan
Seasoning: paprika, onion powder, garlic powder and Cajun seasoning.
-Season and sear your chicken in the skillet and put it in the oven to finish cooking 350 for 30 min
- cut the sausage in bit size pieces and sear them but leave in the skillet.
-add the pasta (I use the one that cooks in 3 min) with the sausage.
- then add the heavy cream and 1/4 cup chicken broth or more if you want it saucy. Bc it thickens
- add the cream cheese block to it and some of the seasoning (however much you want)
-Cover and let the cream cheese melt then add half of a container of grated parm and mix together. By the time the chicken is done the meal should be done. I do everything over medium heat and it’s perfect. I slice the chicken and add it to the meal as I eat it
I am loving all the recipes everyone is sharing!! Some of them I’ve had before and forgot about them. Takes me back to my childhood. I’ve screenshot almost 10 of them. Perfect for easy affordable family meals. Thanks to everyone who shared! ❤
Love the pink cup with your dog..
Brit here, I used to wash my chicken but then the government started to warn people not to wash it so I stopped, but I'm still here after doing both. I just don't do it now as to tell you the truth I can't be bothered. 😂😂❤❤ xx
It is fine to rinse chicken and better to. Just sanitize your sink after...don't listen to the government.
I wash it and then bleach my sides and sink anyway I'm a brit here and don't even listen to what the gov have to say lol

I love your cup! I had a 16yr old, fluffy, orange and white cat named Pumpkin (of course... 😊) and have a tall white, ceramic drinking glass that reads, "Good Mornin', Pumpkin." He was the sweetest cat. Anyway, that will forever be MY glass. Blessings to Binx up in Heaven... 🙏🌌❤️
You always have great ideas. I’m going to start the envelope for a better car. ❤
Thank you for giving me some dinner ideas. I feel like I cook the same things all the time. ❤
The Envelope Method is a game changer for real! In the last 3 1/2 years we have been able to pay off some serious debt and we live on a tight budget already! Especially with todays economy! So anyone considering it at least give it a try!!!
So glad you posted a video. Had a hard day been working on fixing up our home. Im so glad that you posted today. You made my day. So of the things that you made looked really good. Would love to know how the bbq chicken turned out. Take care ❤❤❤
I have a very easy but very tasty goulash recipe you can try. 1lb Hamburg, 1lb elbow macaroni, 1 large can tomato soup, 1 onion chopped, you can also add 1 chopped pepper. Salt and pepper to taste. Cook macaroni according to package. Brown the hamburger and onion/pepper. Drain macaroni and drain grease from hamburger. Combine macaroni in the same pan as hamburger and add the tomato soup straight from the can. Mix all together and heat through. Season with salt and pepper if needed. Eat with buttered bread or rolls. It’s sooooo good 😉👍😁
We do this also. Except we use v8 juice instead of tomato soup 😊
I do this also, but I add a can of Veg-All to mine.
Either way is delicious.
We do this too but add in 2 cans of canned carrots! So good.
This feels like a weekend treat. Thanks friend.
You are the sweetest person. When i’m down I look for one of your videos. You always make me smile. God bless you sweetheart.❤️🙏🏻
The middle of the peach is a peach pit! It’s the seed of the peach. They have one big one instead of lots of little ones like an apple.
I suggest a “Dump Cake”. My mom always made them. You dump canned peaches in the bottom of a class pan (juice and all). Then sprinkle a white or yellow cake mix over the top. Then evenly dump in a stick or two of melted better over the cake mix. Bake at 375 until golden brown. SO easy and delicious. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
Love you! ♥️

I have been watching these lately, I have got to get a new job and start doing this. My employer decided at the end of last month my position was not needed anymore and let me go with no warning. God has a plan though.
He does!!!!! Stay faithful my friend. Prayers that light will be shed soon on his plans for you.

I started a savings book like that because of you. Saved money for my front porch makeover!!! Felt so good to watch it fill up every week. Thank you Merina!!! 🎉
Your putting your money to work and not letting it control you . Thank you Marina such great ideas!
Yay! 🎉 I needed some fearfully created today ❤
Hi Marina! I make a super easy peach upside down cake. Use a butter recipe yellow cake mix. Mix as directed but use peach juice from canned peaches instead of the water. I use 2 large cans of sliced peaches, layed out in the bottom of a 9x13 cake pan. Melt 2 sticks of butter and add 1 cup brown sugar. Stir and pour over the peaches. Pour cake batter over and Bake at 350° till cake is done. It does take longer to bake than the box says. Close to an hour so cover with foil to prevent the top from burning. Flip out onto a cookie sheet when cake is done, knife comes out clean.
You cooking cracks me up in a good way
I do my Chicken Casserole a little different! I use 4 box’s of stove top, (2 cornbread & 2 chicken flavored)You can use can chicken or cooked chicken, 1 LG can of cream of chicken! I fix my stove top as directed on the stove 2 box’s at a time 1 cornbread & 1 chicken , & if using cooked chicken have it cooked & shredded! I put my first 2 cooked boxes of stuffing mix in the bottom of my sprayed pan spread it out evenly, add shredded chicken, add cream of chicken, then add the last 2 boxes of stuffing mix that you cooked on the stove for your top layer! Cover & bake at 350 for 35-45 min ! Uncover for the last few minutes to brown the top! It is delicious 😋
My best purchase was Passionate Penny Pincher menu planning boxes and menu plan 😊
I make a meal plan consistently now from watching you and pretty much stick to it. 😊. I have really loved finding new recipes and making them with a budget in mind. Thank you sweet girl. Love y’all bunches. It is always great to see you and to hear your sweet laughter.
That's how I am. I don't have money to save. People tell me to save money all the time. Yeah well yall I would HOWEVER I ain't got it to save 🙃
Helpful tip!! Take a plate lay a chicken breast on it, then take another plate so the bottom of one is touching and the top plate is touching, then take a knife cut between the two plates to split the chicken in half! This… gives you 4 pieces of chicken! Amazing tip! Love you girl
That line...aint no such thang as a dollar menu...girl u r so right...prices are killing us. But u bring back the fun sassy and happy to our lives. Ty bunches
I agree that I will use store brands often, but I have to have Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce & Heinz ketchup.
I have enjoyed this baby girl and I do think you on the money and yes I am 62 years old and I do think you on this God bless you and your family 🙏❤️🌹
I think you and your husband are just wonderful. It makes me very sad that you get any negative comments. Isn't there enough negativity in this world already? Why in the world would anyone do that to you? I think you're very down to earth and I love how you express your faith. I'm old enough to be your grandmother but you have inspired me. Now that's saying something! By the way, just for your info, those aren't peaches, they're nectarines you're using. They look the same, but peaches are "fuzzier." And peach nectar is like a "thick" juice. So it would probably add to the texture of the cake. But saying all that, I think nectarines would be a good choice too. Please just keep on being you. There's hardly anything better.
You should make bone in pork chops with salt, pepper and Italian seasoning and put honey mustard dressing on it and put it in a Ziploc bag and put it all together and cover it all up in the seasoning and dressing and then put it in the refrigerator for 24 hours or how long after you want it you can put it in there for 24 hours to 2 days and then put it in the oven at 375 for 30 minutes and then put your sides on the stove like any kind of vegetable or starch with it and it is so good my whole entire family even my in-laws love it
Merina, your food looks delicious and a homeschooling mama needs all the ease she can get. It’s a lot! One thing that helped me was a cookbook called Cheap, Fast, Good! Seriously, that cookbook taught me so much. Every recipe takes 30 minutes or less and is cheap and really good. It also gives a lot of kitchen advice that really helped me. The best part was my kids and husband pretty much liked everything. You will love it. My copy has been used so much it’s falling to pieces and is covered with food splashes.
Those are the best cookbooks because they are actually used 😊
My mom used to make a hamburger casserole that is just like yours but instead of the rue she used one can of tomato sauce and one can of tomato soup mixed in. She topped hers with mashed potatoes and cheese. She called hers hamburger pie.
I miss Shane's "c'mon on!" grocery hauls.
“That peels nicely!” 🤣 🤣
