Unless, ofc if you are willing to cheap out on the resolution and get a more affordable price tag (oneplus 5, mi6) which iPhone don't do (mi6 is in the price range of a SD 660 spec'd device in the market, sacrifice is necessary. I went with black for my review, however Red would have suited my channel :) I've been using the Umidigi S2 now for around 2 weeks as my daily driver and I'm impressed. Screen even though it's 720p is pretty sharp. Updates have been coming through too with 3 being released since I got the Umidigi S2. Dual cameras are crap, but the front facing camera is great for video!

I got my Umidigi Z Pro on the 23th with android 6.0, and I just downloaded a rom and updated it to 7.1.1. Sometimes the phone turns off, and on the 24th I started “screaming”. It played a loud ass sound NON STOP!

Ive had this phone for 1 week now. For the price... You cant get a better looking and more premium feeling phone. Also ive had little to no lag or anything with this device. downloads apps super fast, loads them fast. everything is good with this. And the battery can get me through 1-2 days without worrying about closing apps or battery modes. The only downside with this phone is that photos in low light conditions are useless. looks like a 1mp camera from 2001. But with the right light you can get really good pictures!
I would really like to see a proper review on the new UMIDIGI F1 Play and UMIDIGI S3 Pro as they seem to achieve amazing things at crazy low prices but looking on Trustpilot they really don't have a good name for themselves.
UMIDIGI ===> the worst mobile service signal strength in the world (3G & 4G and WiFi ). I bought more than 4 mobiles with different types ( A1 Pro, A5 Pro, F2, A3 Pro ), all of these mobiles have a same issue which is: " mobile service strength signal; such like 3G & 4G services and WiFi also is very very weak compared with other phones. " So if you want to buy a UMIDIGI phone you should be aware of this point. I ONlY HOPE FIX THESE PROBLEMS IN FUTURE .

I have the umidigi z pro and I must say it's a good brand, really good build quality. I drop it a lot without a case and it's no problem. Also the software is decent enough, a bit buggy from time to time but generally good. Also the specs are good for the price. So I'm pretty sure this guy is legit

wireless charging is pretty much a profit scam, for those too lazy to put their phone on a dock or plug a plug in, it also gives us glass back phones, which when cracked gets you to buy a new phone $$$$, it is also 4 to 8 times slower than just using the cable, and it needs a separate adapter purchase $$$$, which has a wire on one end ironic, wireless is not wireless. It's almost like wireless headphones, more expensive, less quality, less durable, bigger battery drain, separate batteries to charge, that are sealed, and when they go bye bye, require you buy new headphones $$$. Just marketing scams to make more money in new markets from the masses. there are of course some benefits, portability, coffee shops only need one mat for everyone, arthritis, etc., but it is being sold as needed premium, and and being cutting edge and better than wired, all of which are untrue. Just new revenue streams and models for the tech giants, who are already filthy rich. LOL, 720P fps 6" almost matches the just release iPhone 8 with its lcd 4.7" but with a much larger battery and dual cameras, and well you know.
READ THIS BEFORE YOU BUY Writing this comment from Umidigi s2, after 2 weeks of using. 1 - unless in perfect light conditions camera is unusable. Truly terrible even for a budget phone. 2 - This 5100 battery barely lasts a day and I'm not a heavy user. Optimisation must be shit. 3 - Bluetooth is awful. Cannot go more than 2 meters away from the phone. Lags immensely under the slightest wind. 4 - there are a whole lot more lesser things that remind you that this phone is made by a bad company. My advice: for this price, buy xiaomi 5 or honor 7x. Don't make the same mistake I did.

For the Pro version, they used a limiting custom made android 7 implementation and due to that the phone was slower than its specs would suggest and it also would not let you install any custom launcher. It was a douchebag move, since their users were not expecting this at launch (they always used to put stock android on phones). Due to this the standard version actually turned out to be a better deal, only because it ran stock android.
Watching this on my Umidigi S2 Pro, and I can only recommend it. Such a gorgeous phablet. The navigation bar is the usual Android one tho, not the Samsung one, as shown in this video. Also, the phone came with Android 7.0. The one thing I'd love to know is how to customize your navigation bar on it, and, coming from iOS, how you download videos on it. On my iPhone, I had Amerigo, but I can't find it on the Play Store, and I really would like to download videos. Anyone help?

What saves this phone from performing bad in 3D is its low resolution. It's more than 4 times lower than the one on GS8 for example. 1440x720= 1.036.800 and 2960x1440= 4.262.400

I own this phone (S2) and it has issues, specifically App issues - Gmail - I like to answer my gmail as soon as I get it. This phone does not sync with gmail unless you do it manually, it has something to do with the battery mode and I think it unloads gmail and does not pole the phone carrier, I'm pretty sure that's what's happening as I have to resign in every so often ( maybe 3 times a day) and I have set all the other settings correctly for gmail notification including battery mode not optimising gmail, it sucks. Even Gearbest (where I bought it) will not show my review which details the issue.
