Wow! Knowledge drop! So approx. 30 grams of hops added for 60 minutes primarily for coagulation (for a 300 gallon batch) would equate to about 0.5 grams for a five gallon batch. I guess now what I'm wondering, my (All in one) kettle has a 10.5 gallon capacity to yield a 5 gallon batch. How much beer does a 10 barrel (310 gallon) kettle yield? Thanks so much for the interview guys! Cheers!
Thanks for watching, Miles! Really happy to hear you took a lot away from it. So those kettles are designed to produce 10bbl of beer, so they actually probably fit at least 12bbl if not more to yield the 10bbl target for finished beer. Hope that answers your question! Cheers! 🍻
Dude - what an interview! The Morebeer kit recipe is very different - could y’all clarify some details? How many IBUs in that 10 minute addition? Whats the hopping rate in that mondo wp addition? Is the hot side still split citra Nelson ?
Thanks Wynn and Vito for using all these new words/terminology, myself being a newby! Here is a question about imitating a beer that I sometimes like to drink: Peroni Pale lager, what yeast, hop, and malt would get me close to home brewing this recipe? Thanks again for the clarity of audio/video in this presentation from Wondrous Brewing; need to put some in my fridge!
Something doesn't make sense here, what's the point to dipressurise the tank at the end if he caps the tank after dry hopped to lock the volatile aroma?
Wynn is a rising rockstar and I always love hearing him talk about about beer and brewing.
Phenomenal interview. More please.
Awesome conversation!

Great job Wynn! Been enjoying them at the Hop Grenade and EJ Phairs.
