Great review, Sam is 4 of 4 he knows some good spots. My grandpa would eat raw onions with just about anything. Them kale greens look so good they are one of my favorites. Thanks Barry and Sam!!!

Now that Pie looked really good, and I have mentioned that I am not really into sweets. But that reminds me of a Story when I was working at that BBQ restaurant in Atlanta GA. I worked there for years and I always tried to a good job and help out the Waitresses whenever I could. Well after working there for a few years, and helping out the Waitresses somehow my Birthday became synonymous with Who can make the Best Cake for Mark's Birthday. So many Good Cakes over the Years! But one Waitress was from Germany originally and I sometimes wake up in the middle of the night Dreaming of her German Black Forest Cake!!!
I had a friend from Germany in high school and her mother made the most fantastic Black Forest Cherry cake. I dream about it too!

What a great production Coach! I mean that for sure. I love peppers of any kind. I use to grow various types and heats. Sam....what can you say about the GOAT, just a great guy. Food looked fabulous and the key lime pie scrumptious. I use to live in Miami, Fl and ate my share of it. I immediately started cracking up at the story. Imagining you 2 big guys rolling around the hallway and Sam's pants split and then standing in the closet while Miss Pope sewing them up had me rolling brother!! I'd love to be there Wednesday but taking care of my 90 year old mother-in-law is more than a full time job. I'll be supporting you right my friend. Good luck, take care and can't wait to watch!! I am having so much fun watching good down home cooking.. I am from Missouri and now live in Ca.. There is nothing here like what you all have back there. I wish I could fly out there and go from restaurant to restaurant.

Seeing the shirt you are wearing, here is a idea for a new shirt. You could make a shirt similar to the rock bands concert tour shirts. Take the shirt you are wearing in this video, on the back list the year you went to the restaurant , the restaurant name then the city. It will be a check list of where to go and eat.
The problem is I’ve done over 450 restaurants. Too many to put on a shirt.

That place was a grocery store in the 60s and 70s and had a brisk lunch crowd I worked on a farm several miles down the road and lots of farm hand would get lunch there.
Ramseys came later. They have several locations around town.
Their Meatloaf is good and the fried green tomatoes are great as well.

Thank you for your channel. I enjoy it so much. I grew up in and moved away from Jeffersonville, IN a long, long time ago (1980’s). When I was kid, my parents used to go to a restaurant called Poboys. Do you know it? It was the first time my family had country food (my folks are from Asia) and we loved it. I’m hoping I find this restaurant in your archives. Maybe you know it? If you do, or if anyone here knows, can you respond with the info? I’m going to fly there one day soon to go again (or some where like it)! I need a huge helping of biscuits and gravy!

Cholula is tasty but not hot enough for me. I like Tabasco and most other brands if they are the extra hit variety.

Some millionaire built it back in the 60’s and went broke before it was complete. It was going to be his home. Now it’s a bed and breakfast hotel. Really great place to stay I heard.
