Thanks so much for your comments. I’ve been teaching Bella on Zoom for about 11 months and we’ve been working side by side for the past 2 weeks after she came to New York for the first time traveling with her mother. You’re absolutely right that I do see a different pianist these past days.
it really makes the etude really unique sounding, it's crazy and impressive she's doing that at such a young age. You mostly see that kind of personal touches or bringing out the inner voices by experienced pianists. It's also the reason I love pianists like Cziffra or Ashkenazy, etc , because they have their own unique and distinct sound to their playing.
simply amazing. When I saw the title I couldn't believe it and when I saw how she played I was really really impressed. The only thing anyone can say is well done.
Has she a name? I mean just putting 9 y.o. student playing as a title…a bit impersonal. The girl is absolutely outstanding-not just fingers and speed. Very natural rubato and her phrasing is unbelievable for such a tender age.
rafael, this video is one of many showing children, 7-12 years old, playing Chopin’s etudes much faste than double beat tempo. I think that tells us that the theory that Wim Winters supports cannot be historically correct. Chopin was in his early 20s when he composed the etudes. Chopin had about 10 more years to reach a high level of play, and Wim Winters believes Chopin played much slower than the kids!
Thanks so much for your insightful comments! It’s us working together, rather than zoom lessons, for the first time. And her playing 6 as a set for the first time. Young Bella will have a bigger challenge on 2/27 at NYC’s Klavierhause, playing her debut recital.
very interesting interpretation on the etudes, i like it. On a side note, I wish the audience and outside noises would be less, so much outside noise, just what's going on there when she's performing? seems like so many people are walking in and out and making all kinds of noise, it's so disruptive to the concentration of the pianist, i think it messed her up a bit during 10-10, you can tell.
Bella will have her first debut recital on 2/27 at New York City’s Klavierhaus. The setting is professional there and I hope to share her music after that. Thanks so much for your comments.
@@chgx611 that's good. But i'm just saying, isn't it just basic, proper etiquette? i don't get why it's so noisy and people seem to be walking in and out, causing so much distraction, it's a big disservice to the pianist.
You can see the diamond forming. Excellent interpretation for such a young child. Great job.

She played them very well
Fantastic rendition of the very difficult Chopin etudes. I love it when she brings out the hidden melodic lines, and occasionally varies the tone. ❤😂🎉😂❤

Left hand voicing is insane
So crisp
I wonder how you can play so many songs at such a young age. What a genius passionate about music.
Songs ????
Genius, God bless.

Rip self-esteem
See how easy it is to play a Fazoli! Just kidding! She is doing a marvelous job, great interpretation, amazing, playing skills! Bravissima!
Thanks so much for your comment! The Fazioli definitely helped! It’s a very powerful and inspiring piece of instrument, for sure.
Why are this girl's interpretations better than 90% of Chopin etudes these days LMAOOO
Innate musical sense + at this age, teaching. Bella has me and I have my great teachers: Babayan and Pressler. Thanks so much for your comments.
@@chgx611 You must be cracked af to have Babayan as your teacher
Playing n4 op 10 like this at the age of 9 !!!!! WOWWWWWWWW

A MIRACLE !
Интересно! Можно всячески "придираться", но дитя слышит и исполняет - МУЗЫКУ! Которая ей явно в кайф.
Awesome dexterity, stamina and accuracy. Balance and concentration suffer a bit, but that's not going to be for long, looking from here :)
I liked the "Ocean" etude best. It really talked a story to the audience

@@bludikaJust the parents of other kids...pretty normal for a pupils' concert.
@@mackiceicukice man i don't care what it is, it's just rude to be so loud and distracting
@@bludika Ofcourse it is….but it is ALWAYS like that in this type of a concert. It is not a proper concert hall.
