- Not another twig stove?!
Yes, I add to the plethora of twig stoves on UA-cam with my own attempt, trying as I might to boil 2 cups of water in under 10 minutes, whilst battling the ever present wind.
Stay well folks!
Mark.
"...multiple failures, minimal successes..." You just gave the definition of life in general. :)
I had no idea what you were making but I enjoyed watching you make it. You are a clever guy.
Well! I give you 👍for creativity. But I think the basket needs to be shorter. The basket it's to high and it takes longer for the water to boiled. I am always looking forward to your next video. Greetings from Huston, Texas.
It's all a bit of experimentation. :)
...A friend informed me he was getting one off the shelf recently. I said get me one!
Kerplunk!
Coffees always worth the wait.
@@maltioxtravels That's the one.
Clever.
mate never let ya dreams fade , i achieved my boy hood dream of buying my own farm , and keep striving to obtain your dream , and like i said before if you are ever over the SA side of vic call in and i'll shout ya a cuppa and ya welcome to stay as long as you want . love ya vids cobba keep em comming
Thanks mate. I remain the eternal optimist.
Follow your dreams, I think it worked great
Keep dreaming! I enjoyed watching.
My guess is you are filling your stove too high in the burn chamber. You are filling and maintaining the fire above the gasification holes on the inter chamber. Try less wood next time. Your burn chamber may also be too short in the main stove. Enjoyed the video.
Cheers Tom 👍
Well it was worth a shot, kind of a fun thing to play around with, might revisit it one day. But I've since learned what works really well, the mass produced one that I bought off the shelf later 🙂
yes I have been buying and testing several twig stoves after running out of fuel on a five day hike this past September. At this point, I really like the Bushbox LF. Bushbuddy order and won"t see that stove until May 2024. Thanks and Good luck. @@RedPathRambler
I'm guessing you're in the States. We've finally got a pretty good option here in OZ, made by Alton Goods. Just a simple flatpak. I'm gonna add to the kit eventually. With your favorable exchange rate, could be an option.
