Here's the thing Robbie, since you like to see the glass half full, maybe Boston should go for Robert. The Dodgers have been seeing tha glass half full the last 3 seasons only to come up short, in a good part, because of injuries and lack of clutch. We're sick of it. To expect Robert might be healthy and as prodcutive in October as Randy is the same as expecting Kersh to be healthy all year round...makes no sense.
Arozarena might just be the guy they have a shot at getting. The Rays and Dodgers make trades quite often, as I believe there's quite a lot of familiarity between the two teams. I wasn't keen on him early in the year, but he's shown life and now I'm not as concerned.
Edit: But I want Teoscar to stay. He's just been THAT guy that comes through in the big moments.

Mountcastle trade would open a spot for Mayo who plays 1B fairly well, but throws are erratic at 3B. They could play Mayo some at 1B and platoon with O'Hearn, which they already do with Mountcastle. I could see a three team trade with Seattle and Detroit or Chicago WS. I personally think the Cubs and Steele are a better option in this scenario than the White Sox or Tigers. He's really good too and has three years of control after this year
If Mullins is traded then you can move Cowser to CF where he has looked ok, and get Kjerstad reps in LF, where he's been playing more.
Any chance the blue jays maybe consider trading George Springer?

Mets need some arms, every playoff team needs arms. I’ve never seen area where multiple teams are in such desperate need of pitching, not one or 2 but 3-4 including relief pitching.

I think the only way Skubal gets moved is if someone takes on Baez's contract and still pays a premium with both prospects and at least one impact major leaguer for next year.
I think the Dodgers will get OF Randy Arrozarena and 3B Isaac Paredes along with Michael Kophek and Zack Eflin .. dodgers will trade the farm to make that happen ..

Detroit are listening but not looking to trade him unless Baltimore blows them away and the trade would have to include Holiday and Mayo++. Others dont have enough. As for their top Catching prospect Basalo the failure rate on prospect catchers is way high so believe tigers would avoid that. You have to remember 2.5 years of club control its not a player rental
The bottom of the orioles lineup are automatic outs in the playoffs. And i feel like Holiday wants to play SS and if gunner Henderson isn’t willing to move to 2b. I can see holiday being traded. Here’s a crazy trade idea Holliday for Chisholm luzardo and tanner scott maybe a little more too. Imagine Ethan Holliday and his older brother both on the marlins after next years draft
No, Holliday isn't going anywhere. That's not gonna happen. He'll be O's 2B either this fall or next season. O's INF will soon be Westburg, Gunnar, Holliday and Mayo (1B).
