We are playing this in 6th grade and I play the flute and at measure 18 through 36 is a nightmare you got no rest and it’s constant but it’s fun and easy notes just these 2 different parts going back and forth and if you breath you might get lost at where you are. I had to play Timpini for this song in the 7th grade and I will tell you it was my favorite song to play in the four years I have been in the band. We did this piece as a whole so we had 6th grade, 7th grade, and 8th grade play this all together and what did I get the chills. To this day I still remember playing this and it is still my favorite. It plays in the back of my head and I am not complaining.

I am a band student at Spring Hill JH and in 6th grade band we played this for a comp. in Canton Texas and at our spring concert. BTW I was first clarinet.
Percussion and brass are like a fanfare to war, then the woodwinds and french horn have a graceful melody, almost like a voice of reason nearly drowned out by the drums of war, but still significant. I swear i can think of millions of stories just from this one piece of music. I first liked it because it sounded like American Venom, now this is one of the best pieces i ever played

Percussion and brass are like a fanfare to war, then the woodwinds and french horn have a graceful melody, almost like a voice of reason nearly drowned out by the drums of war, but still significant. I swear i can think of millions of stories just from this one piece of music. I first liked it because it sounded like American Venom, now this is one of the best pieces i ever played
as a trombone, its really fun just spamming G basically the whole time.
