I thought this was clear and I like the simplicity once you made clear that it was basically a square knot allowed to become a type of hitch knot with the mono allowed to slide to the overhand knots bundle. Very good. I will be using this in a matter of moments.
Uni to uni would be even better imo since it goes through guides smoother. This knot is reliable and just a lot faster for someone who sets up a lot of rods.
So far the easiest way to tie a lead core line to mono. I'll be using 15 lbs lead core tied to 8 lbs mono. I will be trolling tomorrow for trout and I'll repost again to let you know how the knot held up.
So....TERRIBLE music. Get rid of it. You have fat fingers like me and they get in the way so it’s hard to see what your doing. I accidentally figured out what you did and the knot is PHENOMENAL. The problem is that I can’t re-create it without watching the video a million times. It would be great if you did a do-over with my suggestions because it’s a great knot.

I took out some lead core and just tied a double unit knot. What do you think about this method?

So far easy knot. Caught a 2.5 lbs - 19" Cutthroat trout. Love the knot!
