I'm 40 years old haven't had a car payment in 14 years my last car was a brand new 02 escalade and I loved it in 2 months when I come back from Cali im buying one and camt wait so exited and very fortunate 8 can afford one the price doubled mine in 02 was 54 out the door the one I ordered is 104 plus tax which is super expensive but in my opinion definitely worth it

I just picked up my 23 sport platinum two weeks ago and I love it but the only complaint is is that it doesn’t have enough storage, especially with the freezer box in the center console

I’m not the person in the video, but having previously owned a 2019 Navigator, and now owning a 2022 Escalade, I prefer the Navigator.

This vehicle also tells you to look in the rear seat as well before you exit. In case you forget the little one is back there... LOL. I got the white sport platinum last week.
i just picked up the luxury base trim. I was wondering about that message lol. I thought maybe something is on the rear seat or it wasnt down all the way or something else. thanks! Only thing i regret is not having the air suspension :(

I like the front of the last Escalade far better. The correct Cadillac crest is easily mistake for the Chevy bow tie at a glance.

I’m pretty sure based on the video that is an option. He clicked it 3 times 1 for freezer mode then refrigerator and then it turned off.
@@alexisc8176 plus I think it's an upgrade and not standard, even on Luxury Premium Platinum. You can always use the dash compartment. Also the truck has storage under the floor.

The self drive feature is great for drunk drivers.
Supercruise only works on highways, not on the regular roads. So Supercruise is not great for drunk drivers if the driver have to get off the interstate to get to the main road. All hell will be loose from there.

Nothing says “sport” like a 6000 lb suv with 14in of ground clearance and soft suspension.
I mean a 2022 Porsche Taycan 4S is considered a sport car at 5250lb 🤷🏻

@@HotshotTek they are still lighter and have a much lower center of gravity.
You will love it................................until you start experiencing the lovely shudder, and lifter failure and your friendly dealer telling you the problem is in your head. Check the lawsuits brought against GM for this very common problem before you sink that kind of money on one. I sold mine in October precisely because of those problems. Sadly I will probably never purchase another Escalade in this lifetime.
One of my Escalades is a 2015. It's had a few major issues with its transmission. One time they kept the vehicle for 3 months.
A buddy told me he won his lawsuit against GM. They're buying back his Escalade and he received all his money back plus damages. He's walking away with almost $100k and giving the vehicle back. Not a bad deal.
I could sell my 2015 today for $33k to a private party or $30k to a dealer. Already had it appraised by the dealer.
I opted to keep it and sue GM. My buddy's Escalade didn't half half the issues mine did and the attorney took the case. My chances of winning in court are 90%. But most likely GM will settle.
I ordered two 2022 Escalades. One arrived this week. The other arrives May or June.

@@Cerxts I have more than 2. I use them for my limousine company. I would never own one for personal use. Escalades are overpriced and cheaply made. But, they make a lot of money in transportation.
@@Cerxts Cadillac stopped including oil changes this generation too. We have to take then to our own mechanics, or pay through the nose for a simple oil change at the dealer.
