Alright so here’s my honest opinion, I am a brand new player in 2023, I don’t know what the state of the game was when it originally dropped. So that being said as a brand new player in 2023, I’m having fun leveling my character and doing expeditions, I enjoy the crafting and gathering systems. The trading post doesn’t seem to make much sense, all players seem to use trade chat to get decent items. That being said I’m also not max level so haven’t experienced end game gameplay yet. There is bugs where on occasions you won’t be able to open inventory, salvage items, quest items won’t work, but I haven’t ever experienced one of these bugs lasting more that 30 seconds. Pros, the graphics are really nice for a large MMORPG, the ONLY time I ever experience lag is in a major city and it’s not that bad, you can play through the main story line yourself, or with friends, the crafting feels good and fun, area standing is cool and new to me, you can own a house, weapon specs are cool in the fact that any build can be made by any player anytime they want to respect. Cons, at sometimes it feels pay to win (though it’s not), low level dungeons are underwhelming, boss fights have next to no mechanics, running around without a mount is tedious at times, player community all seems as if they are harboring resentment towards devs (lol), the amount of gear that drops can be overwhelming. So all in all, I’m actually happy with my purchase of new world in 2023, I’m having fun exploring the world, gathering resources, crafting, fighting through the different factions of enemies, and doing expeditions. Do I think the expansion should be $30? No I don’t, the expansion doesn’t seem to offer enough to justify spending another $30 to get a mount, an a new weapon, I think more realistically it should be $10-$15. But that’s my opinion hope this helps someone that’s looking to buy.
For sure you got the better experience, skipping the ohh so buggy launch. As lauch player, I find I enjoy NW so much more now then i did at launch. NW has actually become a fun game to play. As you say, everything isn't working perfectly, but what quirks there is, can mostly be learned and worked around
Fellow noob here. It’s so hard to get into as there is so few resources online for it. Wow? Icy veins, ff14, icy veins, but this and eso have such little stuff online for them, yet the players are all there, it’s annoying
Yes, I'm going to get it. Been having good fun on the PTR, it's great that you get a chance to try it out to decide for yourself before putting your money down.

I feel like with a game like this, if someone bought it on day one they should get expansions included. I want to try this DLC but can't really justify paying $30 after not playing it for a few months
Its honestly not worth 30. But if you liked the game at one point then this is a bonus to it. Just remember if you had items in the store at first light.. They are gone If you had a house its gone and you get no refund if you have not logged on for awhile your character is no longer bound to that world and you most likely cant get in with friends Moving server is $15bucks Game still has the same pvp maps and not much has changed in a year for pvp
Still no new OPR maps or war maps. I like the open world PvP thing though. There's just not enough here for me. Sadly, I guess I will move on. Have fun everyone.
I'm kind of salty about it to, but it is coming at least, they talked about a war mode and another opr map is coming for sure prob soon since people been requesting a new opr map.

everything ive seen on the PTR feels amazing (aside of the supposed "northern EU style" edengrove settlement which does not have a northern vibe at all) the game goes firmly in the right direction but it does feel like it still caters towards new players trying to get them back, i rly do hope with the MSQ being finished aswell in S4 that for 2024 they shift theyre focus towards heavally adding endgame activitys/new zones. we need raids,openworldbosses/bigger variety of openworld activitys,PvP modes 10v10, a new OPR map etc. also i hope dunwood and the settlement north of morningdale will come next year so 2 new zones, otherwhise at this rate we will never get so see the entire island od aeternum
This game is FAR from "amazing!". It's a decent game but nothing groundbreaking. I hope the xpac brings back the excitement but I'm just not feeling it right now.
yea came back to check out what all the hype is for. Quit a few years ago due to lack of endgame, all I saw from this was 1 new dungeon some more pvp stuff. I personally dont care that much for pvp content since it gets pretty old pretty quick for me. Not sure if its even worth coming back aftere watching this.

@@moe18777 if you quit a few years ago there is 3 new dungeons out. Well now 4 I guess now with this expansion. So 10 dungeons that also now have mutations so they can be played end game. Pretty good considering they didn't start working on dungeons till 2020 after alpha, Meanwhile I'll wait forever for a unbalanced ashes of creation, bad combat system with 20 spells lmao
700hrs plus into it. The wife loves playing it so yep, I will get it. Currently, we are working on completing every single side class and finishing leveling everything else that isn't to 200 😂
@@johnblack4611 never heard of invisible wall in opr and i do it everyday. they likely coming out with a war mode and another opr map, They came out with 2 arena maps
If they never added crossplay opr and soon to be cross play expeditions then I would agree with the haters calling the game dead. It still has discord servers with people to do content and the crossplay helps. Currently in a low pop server and farming mats ready to get 250 aside from fishing and music.
I don’t know very much about the content of the DLC (or of the base game in the current year). I will say though, if you’re a returning player and planning on starting fresh, the 30 dollars seems worth re-experiencing the game as it is now with the access to mounts past level 25
New region, new items, new metarials ok but mount mechanic with dlc? Really? i cant accept that. Even Funcom add mount mechanic in Conan Exiles with free update. Shame on you Amazon Games. What is next? Swimming mechanic dlc?

It's a shame the influence events are 3 x 45 min windows, they should think about making it like a 12 hour period so anyone can hop in or out throughout the day and help their side out.
As a person that has played and loved Mmos since I first tried wow vanilla, I cant understand why ppl are so upset and paying $30 for an xpac. I have paid 3 times that much for other games expansions, $30 is nothing. There is no monthly sub, no pay to win. Honestly, do people just expect something for nothing?
Yes, and its incredibly frustrating. AGS has not asked for much. They've regularly updated the game and gave an expansion for free over the past two years. Now, they're asking for $30 to continue developing the game, and people are making a big fuss. NW is 100% worth $70 for all that it offers.

100% worth 30 bucks in most places that’s an hours work or maybe 2 hours so I think for all the new stuff we are getting mounts especially Is a huge bonus they are taking steps in a good direction

I think people will be very skeptical of this expansion and wait on it before buying it because we basically got shafted when we bought the game and almost no one kept playing it after a few dozens of hours, I will for sure try the game again but not buy the expansion yet because of that, if it can increase its player base and keep it, I will consider it. I really hope this game can make a comeback like ESO and become a worthwhile experience but no chance I will play this instead of Final Fantasy XIV with the limited time I have.
Think is for mounts, new zone access, new endgame dungeon/bosses, endgame crafting, artifacts, and the lvl cap increase. Well, basically anything that gets put in the game that involves lvl 60+ mainly the big things will be the mount, 700gs drops, and new zone.
You don’t get a new area you get a changing existing area. You get mounts and a new weapon. Edengrove being able to capture doesn’t matter as you will never be selected for war.
World of Warcraft was complete by it's first expansion. As a prepurchaser who loved the game, i hate that, to finish the game we needed a paid expansion, i hands down believe mounts (maybe JUST mounts too) shouldve been given to all... They flopped so hard, and instead of just shutting everything down and restarting, they didnt want to scare the players already dedicated/invested by doing what needed to be done for the game. Rift had a better launch. I want to play this game but im very skeptical of the amount I want to invest, as its slowly just introducing things that every mmo has but has them cut by the wrist, bleeding players, and for such a low pop game (for a reason) it needs another hype/reintroduction to the game otherwise it'll get boring no matter what you add as people were burned already and now it feels like we're paying for THEIR mistake, like the game shouldve been $70 if were gonna end up paying that for a complete game...people dont like to feel they need to invest to have fun. They want to have fun...investment is a result of fun...
So now we need to pay for access to part of the original map, I hope they don't bring out anymore expansions otherwise I'll be stuck in Monarchs Bluff if I don't pay for the DlC....the Cosa Nostra could learn something from Amazon about extortion.

Pass. AGS has a poor track record. So far the (Alpha) state of the game they made us pay full price for, has been a testing ground for 2 years. For them to even slightly get things some what right. The Game with this Expansion is just a Beta testing ground. This is not a debate about "Is it worth buying" this should be, Should we be buying Patches now? Im all for a paying up for expansions, when they are actually Expansions, Not Patches and fixes. (apparently I have to say this inb4 being told "Oh get a job/ how do you expect them to make monies etc. ) When the game is Effectively, Well rounded, and satisfying to play. That is what We paid for right? Then I will happily, pay for Actual expansions without a gripe. Just like I did for Guild wars 2, Bought all expansions and loved it. No regret. Because....they was actually an expansion. Work put in by Devs deserved to be rewarded. Do you go to the shop, buy a half baked cake, bearly edible, Pay full price, then the baker turns around and say, Oh, I can put it back in the Oven for you, wait a few days, come back and pay me additionally for baking the cake fully now. SCAM ALERT" And by supporting this behaviour, You set the tone for other Devs/ Studios to rinse your pocket like your a brainless idiot with lots of money spare. Do you want to be that person?
Crazy how people expect new content to just be free of charge for them. The game is long past its growing pains. Brimstone Sands was a free expansion with over 50+ hours of new things to experience. You expect them to keep pushing free stuff untill they go bankrupt or Amazon sees the product as unprofitable and shuts it down. That's not how it works.
I feel like mounts are a core mechanic and to lock it behind the dlc is stupid. Also, very little content added for the price, specially if you live outside north america and you be paying a shit ton of money on conversion from the dollar.

The answer is "Absolutely No". New world is great at generating hype, but they consistently fail to deliver. No way I'd shell out more money to a team with a failing track record. Regardless of the hype.
I've played 2 hours of the ptr and I can already tell the price tag is too darn high. But, I put faith in what I've gotten for free already that it will be worth it in time

No the game expansion is not worth the price. Reasons for why its not. -mounts should have been day one. -there isnt a new zone, its a remake of an old zone making it such that your paying for a territory that had an asset dump. - only 2 new enemies, and 2 unique bosses. The rest are simple reskins of other enemies. - gameplay in reguards to pvp arent all that different. Pve gameplay feels very much the same copy paste design. - loss of features (expertise system) means that end game will come that much faster. -crafting will have become a joke as everyone will simply be able to build the best available items with absolutely no rng.

I'm glad this isn't wow, Wow was a cartoon game that was so old the mechanics is just spam button smashing with tab targeting... The pvp on WOW is so horrible that I went back to warcraft 3 for pvp lol. What is sad this is coming from someone that is 30 so imagine how young people feel about that game for pvp... Wow could not create 10 high quality dungeons in 2 years. Maybe cartoony ones.
The expansion is "nice enough"... it is just WAY too short... instead of a NEW zone, they revamp an old zone, we lost some amazing farming spots... The revamped zone is nice enough but farming in it isn't nice... The zone is like HALF the size of Brimstone... Brimstone was FREE... I took about a week to get through all the many MANY quests of Brimstone (it was a LOT of fun) it took 2 days to get through all of the new one and lots of it was the stupid riding quests which felt like a massive waste of time... The new monsters are nice... You can't skin gorillas for some lame reason... They removed a LOT of orichalcum mine nodes and replaced them with Mythril... nice enough we can get Mythril, but now Ori is even worse to get than it were before... Did I mention all the iron (+ friends) nodes we lost in First Light around the lake etc.? The potato fields we lost? etc. etc. So instead of using all the EXITS on the edges of the map and expand our world then they removed a lot of nice farm areas and gave us a zone that is "beautiful" but a pita to farm in... I am pretty "so so" about the expansion... There are good stuff for sure... But the losses was BAD... and the amount of stuff we got and PAID for was pitiful compared to Brimstone which was FREE... I felt half assed and not like an expansion but more like a minor update
People saying its not worth is kinda crazy... go ahead and go play ESO or FF14, see how much it cost you. Buy all the expansions and add the monthly fees and stuff... my friend did it and he spent around 250$ for each game.... So yea ill play New World and pay 30$. The game is getting better and my brother and I are having such a great time.
But it’s not worth it…what do you get? An existing zone that was changed (not even a new zone), ONE new weapon, mounts that honestly weren’t even needed with the amount of fast travel points in the game, OPR still being over run by broken bows and fire mages because balance is off, a new zone edengroove to be captured doesn’t matter since majority of players will NEVER see the light of day on being slotted because on all servers towns are run by elites and dont want losers in their wars. Bugs still present from launch oh and so many people buying gold for BIS gear lol I’ve been playing since launch with over 3800 hours in game ran three companies took over territories and was part of a full wipe takeover of a map trust me….game is shit
@@NordskovTTV All i can tell is that 5 of my friends and I are having the best time we ever had since the original launch of WoW. It's the most fun we've had in an MMORPG since the year 2010. You maybe have some valid points but it doesn't change the fact that we are having a blast ! Sometimes what is trash to someone is treasure to others. I will 100% pay 30$ for that expansion as it fixes sooo many things and yes for me it is definitely worth 30$ the game is so cheap compared all other mmorpg that i even buy skins to encourage it even further.

You can literally buy New World on sale for the price of 1 monthly fee of a "normal" mmorpg. I would even go as far as saying that the game doesn't ask enough money for the amount of work they put in. If people wants a better game they need to pay so people can work on it, it's kinda how the world works. They've been working for "free" for 2 years now. About time they cash in a little. Plus the communication that the devs have with the community is exemplary. I've never seen a team this open to comments. I think New World for such a young mmorpg (2 years is extremely young for an mmorpg) is doing amazingly well. FF14 started as one of the biggest failure and look at it now over 10years later doing great. I believe New World is heading in the right direction.

I mean the combat in the game is by far it’s saving grace but to say this game has not been covered in game breaking not even normal but game breaking bugs, weapon imbalance and a part of the game only a few select few have access to is what I consider broken. Never said the game was not fun but for me no way it’s worth 30 dollars. The devs continue to disappointment and to be honest the whole dropping of certain gear sets and doing away with it is a testimony as to the sheer lack of vision this team has. The number of players who left this game proves my point and not to mention the amount of PvP players I have lost due to the devs not having a better understanding of its player base.
@@maxym189 here’s the thing….free content isn’t always great content. I would gladly pay 60 dollars for a great dlc or expansion than have a free update or content given to me for no cost. Shrine points was working just fine…not worth it
I think it IS a fair price and I will buy it 100%. I have 800 hours in the Base game and I just Love the PvP. Intense Fights. Even If I Play the Expansion only 30 hours it will be Wörth the price. 1€/per Hours fun is a good value for me

Let me just say before watching that new world has been out for around 3 years and it’s base price is 60 bucks. It’s first paid expansion is 30. Now that’s 20dollars a year all together. New world as an mmo imo has the best PvP system in terms of its third person aspect and it’s weapons and ability pairings and how the mechs work, plus one of the best systems in terms of grinding out trade systems. On the flip side it’s also been know to be one of the most annoying, Grindy, and bug exploitive game since release 😂😂😂😂
def worth the money, I have over 3k hours of new world only spent 40 bucks... the pvp is awesome, not much pve but it is good what for they got, good quality of pve just need more. Early game is a bit slow on story

@@NordskovTTV must not play anymore bows and firemages don't take over opr anymore and if they make a glass cannon build you can easily just kill them with a combo with their back turn even with a aoe build. Now you mention it I notice lately the scoreboard isn't breaking if it does it might happen so rarely compared to a year ago. I wouldn't call that game breaking bugs. Your mad because better people than you get war slots? This is why they will make a war mode for people who can never get in. It's not elites, if your decent at pvp and put work in you will get into wars, you also need a good shot caller to win. If you suck and don't put in work to get pvp gear yeah they might slot someone who listens to them. I agree world pvp is not as great as it should be but still happens every day at forts and with this update more open world battles will happen locking down forts for an hour. Also with mounts easier to get places faster for example a fort fight. I'm tired of these boring tab targeting old games. The combat feels so blah and old. To easy just button smashing with macros lmao

Zerg stuff sure but influence pushes are not too bad and can be fun but again its mostly mindless zerg rush. What do you expect from nw pvp? Its either zerg, chase sim, fighting gear more then players, being outnumbered or what have you
PTR has quite a lot of issues, main quest bugging out being quite serious one. They have to release it in a very good state or its game over for this already very small (in terms of player count) game. There cant be any major issues whatsoever, I hope they understand that and delay if needed.
In my opinion, it's stupid to give paid DLC, because if they released it for free, it would come back and many new players would join. Especially since it's only $30, and if they gave it away for free, they could have 5x more players (if there were more mmo players, more would join over time) and the $30 would be returned to them several times over. I'm having a lot of fun playing this game, but I know that in a few months the servers will be empty again and for some stupid $30

everything ive seen on the PTR feels amazing (aside of the supposed "northern EU style" edengrove settlement which does not have a northern vibe at all) the game goes firmly in the right direction but it does feel like it still caters towards new players trying to get them back, i rly do hope with the MSQ being finished aswell in S4 that for 2024 they shift theyre focus towards heavally adding endgame activitys/new zones. we need raids,openworldbosses/bigger variety of openworld activitys,PvP modes 10v10, a new OPR map etc. also i hope dunwood and the settlement north of morningdale will come next year so 2 new zones, otherwhise at this rate we will never get so see the entire island od aeternum
This game is FAR from "amazing!". It's a decent game but nothing groundbreaking. I hope the xpac brings back the excitement but I'm just not feeling it right now.
yea came back to check out what all the hype is for. Quit a few years ago due to lack of endgame, all I saw from this was 1 new dungeon some more pvp stuff. I personally dont care that much for pvp content since it gets pretty old pretty quick for me. Not sure if its even worth coming back aftere watching this.

@@moe18777 if you quit a few years ago there is 3 new dungeons out. Well now 4 I guess now with this expansion. So 10 dungeons that also now have mutations so they can be played end game. Pretty good considering they didn't start working on dungeons till 2020 after alpha, Meanwhile I'll wait forever for a unbalanced ashes of creation, bad combat system with 20 spells lmao
700hrs plus into it. The wife loves playing it so yep, I will get it. Currently, we are working on completing every single side class and finishing leveling everything else that isn't to 200 😂

If they never added crossplay opr and soon to be cross play expeditions then I would agree with the haters calling the game dead. It still has discord servers with people to do content and the crossplay helps. Currently in a low pop server and farming mats ready to get 250 aside from fishing and music.
I don’t know very much about the content of the DLC (or of the base game in the current year). I will say though, if you’re a returning player and planning on starting fresh, the 30 dollars seems worth re-experiencing the game as it is now with the access to mounts past level 25

As a person that has played and loved Mmos since I first tried wow vanilla, I cant understand why ppl are so upset and paying $30 for an xpac. I have paid 3 times that much for other games expansions, $30 is nothing. There is no monthly sub, no pay to win. Honestly, do people just expect something for nothing?
Yes, and its incredibly frustrating. AGS has not asked for much. They've regularly updated the game and gave an expansion for free over the past two years. Now, they're asking for $30 to continue developing the game, and people are making a big fuss. NW is 100% worth $70 for all that it offers.

I think people will be very skeptical of this expansion and wait on it before buying it because we basically got shafted when we bought the game and almost no one kept playing it after a few dozens of hours, I will for sure try the game again but not buy the expansion yet because of that, if it can increase its player base and keep it, I will consider it. I really hope this game can make a comeback like ESO and become a worthwhile experience but no chance I will play this instead of Final Fantasy XIV with the limited time I have.
Absolutely not worth it. Playing the PTR a lot I can safely say this is 2 months worth of a patch. This is ridiculous putting $30 on this.

So someone explain to me as I was just skipping through this vid, what is it you pay the £30 for? Access to the new area? mounts? The new weapon?
Think is for mounts, new zone access, new endgame dungeon/bosses, endgame crafting, artifacts, and the lvl cap increase. Well, basically anything that gets put in the game that involves lvl 60+ mainly the big things will be the mount, 700gs drops, and new zone.
You don’t get a new area you get a changing existing area. You get mounts and a new weapon. Edengrove being able to capture doesn’t matter as you will never be selected for war.
It is a new area.

World of Warcraft was complete by it's first expansion. As a prepurchaser who loved the game, i hate that, to finish the game we needed a paid expansion, i hands down believe mounts (maybe JUST mounts too) shouldve been given to all... They flopped so hard, and instead of just shutting everything down and restarting, they didnt want to scare the players already dedicated/invested by doing what needed to be done for the game. Rift had a better launch. I want to play this game but im very skeptical of the amount I want to invest, as its slowly just introducing things that every mmo has but has them cut by the wrist, bleeding players, and for such a low pop game (for a reason) it needs another hype/reintroduction to the game otherwise it'll get boring no matter what you add as people were burned already and now it feels like we're paying for THEIR mistake, like the game shouldve been $70 if were gonna end up paying that for a complete game...people dont like to feel they need to invest to have fun. They want to have fun...investment is a result of fun...
So now we need to pay for access to part of the original map, I hope they don't bring out anymore expansions otherwise I'll be stuck in Monarchs Bluff if I don't pay for the DlC....the Cosa Nostra could learn something from Amazon about extortion.

Pass. AGS has a poor track record. So far the (Alpha) state of the game they made us pay full price for, has been a testing ground for 2 years. For them to even slightly get things some what right. The Game with this Expansion is just a Beta testing ground.

Crazy how people expect new content to just be free of charge for them. The game is long past its growing pains. Brimstone Sands was a free expansion with over 50+ hours of new things to experience. You expect them to keep pushing free stuff untill they go bankrupt or Amazon sees the product as unprofitable and shuts it down. That's not how it works.
I feel like mounts are a core mechanic and to lock it behind the dlc is stupid. Also, very little content added for the price, specially if you live outside north america and you be paying a shit ton of money on conversion from the dollar.

No the game expansion is not worth the price.
Reasons for why its not.
-mounts should have been day one.
-there isnt a new zone, its a remake of an old zone making it such that your paying for a territory that had an asset dump.
- only 2 new enemies, and 2 unique bosses. The rest are simple reskins of other enemies.
- gameplay in reguards to pvp arent all that different.
Pve gameplay feels very much the same copy paste design.
- loss of features (expertise system) means that end game will come that much faster.
-crafting will have become a joke as everyone will simply be able to build the best available items with absolutely no rng.

I'm glad this isn't wow, Wow was a cartoon game that was so old the mechanics is just spam button smashing with tab targeting... The pvp on WOW is so horrible that I went back to warcraft 3 for pvp lol. What is sad this is coming from someone that is 30 so imagine how young people feel about that game for pvp... Wow could not create 10 high quality dungeons in 2 years. Maybe cartoony ones.

The expansion is "nice enough"... it is just WAY too short... instead of a NEW zone, they revamp an old zone, we lost some amazing farming spots... The revamped zone is nice enough but farming in it isn't nice... The zone is like HALF the size of Brimstone... Brimstone was FREE... I took about a week to get through all the many MANY quests of Brimstone (it was a LOT of fun) it took 2 days to get through all of the new one and lots of it was the stupid riding quests which felt like a massive waste of time... The new monsters are nice... You can't skin gorillas for some lame reason... They removed a LOT of orichalcum mine nodes and replaced them with Mythril... nice enough we can get Mythril, but now Ori is even worse to get than it were before... Did I mention all the iron (+ friends) nodes we lost in First Light around the lake etc.? The potato fields we lost? etc. etc. So instead of using all the EXITS on the edges of the map and expand our world then they removed a lot of nice farm areas and gave us a zone that is "beautiful" but a pita to farm in...
I am pretty "so so" about the expansion... There are good stuff for sure... But the losses was BAD... and the amount of stuff we got and PAID for was pitiful compared to Brimstone which was FREE... I felt half assed and not like an expansion but more like a minor update

But it’s not worth it…what do you get? An existing zone that was changed (not even a new zone), ONE new weapon, mounts that honestly weren’t even needed with the amount of fast travel points in the game, OPR still being over run by broken bows and fire mages because balance is off, a new zone edengroove to be captured doesn’t matter since majority of players will NEVER see the light of day on being slotted because on all servers towns are run by elites and dont want losers in their wars. Bugs still present from launch oh and so many people buying gold for BIS gear lol I’ve been playing since launch with over 3800 hours in game ran three companies took over territories and was part of a full wipe takeover of a map trust me….game is shit
@@NordskovTTV All i can tell is that 5 of my friends and I are having the best time we ever had since the original launch of WoW. It's the most fun we've had in an MMORPG since the year 2010. You maybe have some valid points but it doesn't change the fact that we are having a blast ! Sometimes what is trash to someone is treasure to others. I will 100% pay 30$ for that expansion as it fixes sooo many things and yes for me it is definitely worth 30$ the game is so cheap compared all other mmorpg that i even buy skins to encourage it even further.

You can literally buy New World on sale for the price of 1 monthly fee of a "normal" mmorpg. I would even go as far as saying that the game doesn't ask enough money for the amount of work they put in. If people wants a better game they need to pay so people can work on it, it's kinda how the world works. They've been working for "free" for 2 years now. About time they cash in a little. Plus the communication that the devs have with the community is exemplary. I've never seen a team this open to comments. I think New World for such a young mmorpg (2 years is extremely young for an mmorpg) is doing amazingly well. FF14 started as one of the biggest failure and look at it now over 10years later doing great. I believe New World is heading in the right direction.

I mean the combat in the game is by far it’s saving grace but to say this game has not been covered in game breaking not even normal but game breaking bugs, weapon imbalance and a part of the game only a few select few have access to is what I consider broken. Never said the game was not fun but for me no way it’s worth 30 dollars. The devs continue to disappointment and to be honest the whole dropping of certain gear sets and doing away with it is a testimony as to the sheer lack of vision this team has. The number of players who left this game proves my point and not to mention the amount of PvP players I have lost due to the devs not having a better understanding of its player base.

Let me just say before watching that new world has been out for around 3 years and it’s base price is 60 bucks. It’s first paid expansion is 30. Now that’s 20dollars a year all together. New world as an mmo imo has the best PvP system in terms of its third person aspect and it’s weapons and ability pairings and how the mechs work, plus one of the best systems in terms of grinding out trade systems. On the flip side it’s also been know to be one of the most annoying, Grindy, and bug exploitive game since release 😂😂😂😂

bows and firemages don't take over opr anymore and if they make a glass cannon build you can easily just kill them with a combo with their back turn even with a aoe build. Now you mention it I notice lately the scoreboard isn't breaking if it does it might happen so rarely compared to a year ago. I wouldn't call that game breaking bugs. Your mad because better people than you get war slots? This is why they will make a war mode for people who can never get in. It's not elites, if your decent at pvp and put work in you will get into wars, you also need a good shot caller to win. If you suck and don't put in work to get pvp gear yeah they might slot someone who listens to them. I agree world pvp is not as great as it should be but still happens every day at forts and with this update more open world battles will happen locking down forts for an hour. Also with mounts easier to get places faster for example a fort fight. I'm tired of these boring tab targeting old games. The combat feels so blah and old. To easy just button smashing with macros lmao

Maybe I’m the cringe one for saying it but people doing open world PvP are just the worst. I get so grossed out just seeing it happen. Ope Ope pp pp lol always outnumbered
Zerg stuff sure but influence pushes are not too bad and can be fun but again its mostly mindless zerg rush.
What do you expect from nw pvp? Its either zerg, chase sim, fighting gear more then players, being outnumbered or what have you
PTR has quite a lot of issues, main quest bugging out being quite serious one. They have to release it in a very good state or its game over for this already very small (in terms of player count) game. There cant be any major issues whatsoever, I hope they understand that and delay if needed.
In my opinion, it's stupid to give paid DLC, because if they released it for free, it would come back and many new players would join. Especially since it's only $30, and if they gave it away for free, they could have 5x more players (if there were more mmo players, more would join over time) and the $30 would be returned to them several times over. I'm having a lot of fun playing this game, but I know that in a few months the servers will be empty again and for some stupid $30

Another thing I want to point out, coin sellers are not so hardcore on this compared to other games like wow eso guild wars ect ect, those games are more pay to win. Coin sellers always make a play to win platform for everygame. But you must be new to mmos
