    Thanks, Colin. Up early again, eh?
    1) At 1:09 mins, for those with OCD already annoyed by the missing coping stone on the DNOC on the West Quay, they now have a new focal point. There is still one Brick Facade Coping Stone to install in front of the Mansard Roof wall, and then the boxing off of the Dark-Grey panels behind that.
    2) I'd agree that the holes on the East Plaza are for foundations for the Lighting Columns. they are spot on for where lighting columns should be, on the plans.
    3) At 2:48 mins, you can see that they have been getting on well with applying anti-slip to the stairways in the Upper Tier of the NE Corner. At 3:22 mins you can see that they have also done so right across the the NW corner of the Upper Tier.
    4) If you get the chance, please would you take a vertical close look over the NW expansion gap (seen in the middle of the screen at 3:32 mins). I am curious as to how they plan to prevent water falling directly on to the fans below, as the literal roof layer gap does show on the plans (the same on all four corner gap lines).
    5) At 5:09 mins, unless it's been parked temporarily over the other side Nelson Dock, the standing-seam Mill Container appears to have left site, which is understandable. It'll be quite some time before it's needed again for the East Stand Roof.
    6) At 6:26 mins, I wonder what is going to be wet-concreted next in that area, as the pump lorry looks ready for action.
    7) Glad you mentioned the addition of the Lower Promenade terracing at 7:35 mins.
    8) At 10:09 mins, yes, there are planned to be 13 Columnar Elms in that line. There will also be a new border containing 5 trees where you can see the personnel safety gate amongst the green and red safety rails, between the diggers and the stadium. Beyond that future border (southwards) will be the Stage Area, between the just-mentioned future tree border, the SW corner door of the Pump House, the Old Dock Wall Coping Stones and about halfway to the stadium.
    9) At 12:57 mins, I thought for a moment you were going to take a closer look at the scaffolding activity around the southern Regent Road Tower Gates.
    10) At 13:27 mins, I do wonder when they will remove the hoist fixings in the barrel-cladding sections in the SE section. It just makes it look messy at the moment.
    11) At 11:37 mins, yes, the expansion gap at the double-steels will be the northern edge for that run of barrel-cladding at the SE corner.
    12) At 14:31 mins you can see how well they have progressed with the installation of reclaimed Cobbles between the barrier rails and Nelson Dock quayside.
    13) At 15:04 mins, yes, I'd agree that they look keen to start on the SW barrel-cladding, using the crane that was for the Mill. So, it begs the question as to whether they have 2 "under-the-hook" jigs.
    14) At 15:12 mins, I wonder how far eastwards they have got fitting the South Stand coving support struts.

      Early starts seems to work well for me at the moment for 2 reasons, i'm back home and ready for the rest of the day before 9am and secondly most of the other BMD videos get released in the afternoon/evening so its usually a bit of a free run regarding views etc, it sounds greedy but my drone hobby has to be self funding for it to work so i have to be conscious of views etc.
      Hopefully the next one will be Saturday, i have a list of requested close ups from various people so will certainly take a look at that expansion gap in the roof, will be interesting to see especially after seeing Old Trafford leak at the weekend!

    great video CP, but i wonder where Everton FC's commitment to the water front walk / boundary etc ends & that aplies to the whole site, where are the boundary's?

    • @cp-overview
      @cp-overview  13 днів тому +2

      I think i highlighted it a couple of videos ago, but the very edge boundary/sea wall isn't EFC's, it is believed some sort of pictures/advertising boards will go up along there to cover up the unsightly parts.

      EFC's BMD site goes up to the inner edge of the Mersey Wall, except that bit where there is a significant instep at the NW corner. LoR will be installing gates at each stairs. You can see where they have concreted up to the edge of the boundary. the wall face will in some way be screened by imagery to mask the state of the wall behind.

    The most interesting thing to me is the outer dock wall. I have been looking on line to see how the original dock walls were built? I imagine they would be built away from the river then let the river come in by digging out the earth? Another thing is how can capstans be strong enough to withstand the pull from and ocean liner? they must be anchored way down in the ground?

    Thanks Colin,can you zoom in a 2:54 is that glass at the vomitory and is the seats that sit behind the glass?

      Hi John , i will take a good close up look on Saturday

    • @davidbadcock2225
      @davidbadcock2225 13 днів тому

      John: glass safety barriers at each vomitory above ground level, if there isn't a concrete wall in front of it instead, were fitted quite some time ago now. A good proportion of them had their black plastic covers removed, though you can still see some of those. The area at the centre of the screen at 2:54 mins is an Accessibility platform with glass barriers in front. One of the 7 TV Camera plinths will be located at the front of that platform, in line with the centre of that NE Accessibility vomitory. We have yet to see any of the Accessibility companion's seats being installed in the allocated areas (each Accessible space has a companion allocated).

      @@davidbadcock2225 Hi David, hope you are well, my main concern was that if the vomitory glass is at the sides it will mean that some seats will be behind glass which might not be what some fans want so they might want to consider that when buying their Season tickets

      @@cp-overview Thanks Colin my concern is that some seats will be behind glass and if fans will like that? Look forward to Saturday

      @@davidbadcock2225 Hi David I meant that every vomitory area has glass at the sides and it looks like the first seats behind it will be blocked by glass ie fans will be looking through glass as opposed to a clear view
