I would have liked to hear the bluetooth functionality, which seems to be the failing point on a lot of these sound bars. (as well as how I plan to connect my laptop to it)
That said, I will be buying this from Walmart on discount so I can return it if it is bad.
I use hi-fi headphones mostly, but was looking to add an inexpensive soundbar to my LG CX 48". I recently bought Heymell soundbar from Amazon, which is not bad, but it makes an awful static/sizzling sound in the midrange, therefore it had to be returned.
Your review, which is very informative along with being in great quality(especially in comparison to other reviews of soundbars in similar price range) has helped me to pull the trigger on this soundbar. Thanks for the review, great job!
@R B Don't purchase it. The quality is absolutely terrible and they include a voucher for £40 for a video review.
I ended up returning it the very next day.
@R B Good you asked indeed. Since then, I went through a couple of less and more expensive standalone soundbars. The truth is, if you want a decent sound quality, you need to get at least a 2.1 system. You can't cheat physics with marketing.
@R B I got myself Phillips Tab8405 and I'm quite happy for the price. Works well with my Series X and LG CX. No latency (unlike many others) and it can play Dolby Atmos tracks.
Not bad unit for low cost, aslo have purchase similar and encounter having those buzzing noise on the jack , was annoying as interference come from the pc unit, bought a inline '3.5mm Aux Audio Noise Filter Ground Loop Isolator' which Eliminate Electric Noise, it's better now cost around $5 online 🤟can now plug in any device👍 use the bluetooth on my projector sound, there is a slight notable delay in lip synchronous to the movie, it's better on on jack as no delay but it's still good
Just play a Star Wars soundtrack if you want to really test it!

Compared to the sound of the television you have, do you notice the improvement in sound using the bar?
Definitely, I have 4 Tv at home and non have forward facing speakers . This is so much better than the Samsung, Panasonic built in speakers
