It is truly the best detailed demonstration of how to perform the procedure I've seen on UA-cam yet keep up the great work looking forward to more of your videos. THANKS
Had the same issue with the same cylinder, I opted to change all 3 coil packs and gaskets while I was back there. Thanks for making this video, definitely was very helpful!
Too late for me. I changed all my spark without seeing this video. First bottom spark plugs took me 15 minutes to change out. The top spark plugs took me like 2 hours and another putting it back. This video would have helped me a lot this is a great video, whish I would have seen this video earlier.
Man I really appreciate you taking the time to show this process I have a 11 with 95,000 miles I'm still in good shape as far as tune up but it will nees it eventually again thank you for your time and experience
Hey man I have a 09 maxima that had a cylinder 4 misfire upon disassembly I saw that cylinder 4 ignition coil was burnt and I replaced it along with new spark plugs on all cylinders the rest of the ignition coils appeared to be fine so I didn’t replace them all. But after a day of running of perfect with no misfires the service light came back on with a random cylinder misfire along with cylinder 3 so I took it all back apart and now the ignition coils for cylinder 1 and 3 are burnt. Any idea what could be causing it before I throw new coils at it?
Probably getting too hot or maybe they had cracks or something to them when you took them out I'm not sure . Was their any oil on them or anything and I also would put some Dielectric grease in each one of the boots before you install them that's what I do on all cars that I've done tune ups
Good thing I found this video . I just bought a 2010 maxima with 98k and it needs new spark plugs . Got everything on order from Rock auto . Gasket , spark plugs and a PCV . Wish me luck .
If I did not mention it in the video I'm not exactly sure. You might be able to find something offline for it just for the intake torque bolt pattern but I would just like everything down tight in a crisscross pattern
Just did my daughters 2008 Maxima. Easier than what this looks. Now I chuckle at when they leave the hard parts out. LOL I used those same type plugs, anything with those needle tips, I don't gap.
Hi I replaced all of my coils and plugs this way now my Maxima wont start at all. When I go to start it, it wants to go but it wont fully start up. Almost feels like it wants more gas but when I give it more it really wants to start up but it doesn't. What do you think?
@@KnuckleHeadGarage27 weirdest thing. Now I got it running think a vacuum lime wasn't all the way on, but it's throwing a p0300 now as opposed to a p0303 which it threw originally. Any insight?
I'm assuming that's multiple cylinder misfire I don't remember on this vehicle and if so then could have a bad new plug or bad coil or maybe wasn't plugged in good not sure hard to say
@@SunsyloSouvannaraj-rh6zm Appreciate you watching and Good Luck! . So far this one has been perfectly fine ever since I did this and has put alot..... miles on it since this video
Awesome video man thanks a lot! I do have a question tho. If you go to time (15.16) that black hard plastic hose with the 90 on one end that’s by your windshield top right of screen. I know that the 90 end connects to intake at the bottom with hose clamp. But the other end i have no idea where it goes . When I was taking it apart that part was very loose as if it wasn’t connected to anything on the other side
The problem that autozone suspects it is is the ignition coil on cylinder 3. The car was sputtering, made the front wheels shake a lot. Sounds and feels like crap when you accelerate. The vehicle does turn on and run it just sounds really bad.
Yeah it’s a misfire. I just replaced all coils and spark plugs and replaced some of fuel injection hoses cause they were brittle ... still having same issue
My 2009 maxima hesitates after I replaced my plugs for some reason. I gapped my plugs like a rookie and I touched the inside of it. Could the be the issue?
This woman right here is about to change plugs and possibly coil in my POS maximizer (well engine itself isn’t really a POS but the car looks like one cause the clear coat has faded, dash has essentially melted, etc.)
@@KnuckleHeadGarage27 I wish they would recall paint and dash. I know they recalled the dash in FL but I’m in GA 🙄 theres not any seals around the front and back windshield and the ones around sunroof and doors suck so it leaks in a hard rain.

No one on UA-cam shows the sequence and torque specs for the intake except one guy. That’s probably the most important part out of this whole thing and no mechanic shows it which makes no sense. It’s like a secret or something 😂. Google also doesn’t really give you any good information
For some vehicles like this that have plastic intakes I've never had issues without torque spec's , Just tighten them down tight and snug and it's good to go .
