I have been now 1 week road cycling in mallorca with my fenix 6x pro (600+ km / 7000+ hm). We had ready made gpx routes and nothing else. I just bought the garmin fenix bike mount and the rest was an ease. You do not need a bike computer, if you already own a fenix. 🙂

Very helpfull I need to find a replacement for my old forerunner 910xt (one button cap has come off and the battery is only lasting about 5 hours now) I was looking at the Forerunner 955 but this fenix 7 looks to be much better.
I'm looking for a new watch to replace my Samsung watch 5. I ride a touring bike and use a garmin explore 2 GPS bike computer. I'm looking at getting a garmin solar watch like the enduro 2 instead of using the head unit. The training plans on garmin connect aren't compatible with the explore 2 bur are with the enduro 2. Planning on long tours and don't want to worry about charging the watch .

I have looked all over but can't find it. There is an arrow on the top let corner on the map when cycling and navigating. What does that mean? You can see it at 10:38.
Hi when you are navigating a Course that you have sent to your device you can view an elevation graph for the current climb you are on and also look ahead for hills coming up with elevation graphs, if you are not navigating a course you can change a data field in the data boxes to show Grade, kind regards GPST
I have the EPIX Pro and when I try to select a Round-Trip Course I get the option to set the distance but then I get the message Maps do not have routable roads in this area. I don't know what that means or if something is turned off or needs turned on. 😕😕
Hi Charles in Europe your watch should come with Garmin's Topo Active Europe Routable maps pre-installed and with an Activity profile selected such as Cycling you should be able to route on these maps, its sounds like your Maps may be missing, if you have a computer I would use Garmin Express software to check for any map updates and install them. please find a link below to Garmin's manual for managing Maps - www8.garmin.com/manuals/webhelp/GUID-E5C62F3F-DCE3-4197-8CA5-E419B2A55D12/EN-US/GUID-501D6F25-266A-4913-8F18-35AEEB9335DE.html We hope this helps

Yes, on a recent software update you can add data fields on the map page.
Did you ever have any luck getting Ordnance Survey 125k mapping onto the fenix ?

It’s not touch screen?
