I plan to buy Sherman as soon as new coupon arrives in June but it's kinda scary to think about future DD gameplay with Gdańsk being added.
Sherman will actually be a good counter to Gdansk : SAP and flat arcs. A bit like it is today's Ragnar's biggest counter (with Daring).

The my sub, enemy sub is very accurate. The enemy sun is always harassing and doing stuff, my teams sun is on a sight seeing mission doing nothing.

I am debating whether i should get Sherman or Napoli for coal. Napoli has meme armour but sherman has meme DPM
Tough decision. I've got both and I like them both.
They are both a lot of fun to play. So at least you can't go wrong. Napoli built for secondaries can be surprisingly effective.
Sherman will be the more meta choice but Napoli can be fun

The next level HE spam that got introduced with smolensk was one of the main reasons that pushed me away from this game, on top of the subs and CVs, and ships like this and friesland were among the worst offenders... Yet another punishment for pushing, no counterplay other than going to the other flank and hope its stupid.
If you only know this game through UA-cam you would think that 90% of the games are without CV.
🤔... Could it be that this makes for better games WG?

Should I buy Sherman or Marceau?
Sherman is a pretty safe pic but Marceau is a fun DD, kinda sucks though if you don’t have AFT and you have to fight a schlieffen
Sherman if you win rate is below 52%, Marceau above.
I wish Sherman had a single Quintuple torpedo launcher. Would be much nicer.
