I’m just rewatching every trial Sakura is in cause she’s my favorite
Same but only to see just how much she actually talked before getting the axe
I love Sakura so much
My fav was Celestia and I really wished she lived till the end, but it makes sense that she died. She was the ultimate gambler, and gamblers in general get greedy for more money, to be rich OR to ignore the real world and have fun for the moment.

Here because I cleared this trial last night. Absolutely adored Celestia's tantrums.
Honestly, she argued too early, and that’s when I got my first suspicions.
And I’m very glad to know there’s somebody who stills plays it at the same time as me, because basically no one plays this anymore because of the time it came out, (since everyone would be done with it.)

I feel like she picked a very questionable point to go in "all out argue" mode (9:57-14:15), it should've definitely been clear to everyone considering the blood trail from the equipment room and the blood stain on the wheels that she was wrong there from the get-go

Well, the first culprit only killed someone cause someone was trying to kill him in desperation, and the second one felt really bad about what he did. The fourth one didn't kill anyone but herself. And to come to think of it, Celestia may be the most selfish, but at least her motive makes sense still. I think the most psychopathic has to be Junko cause she doesn't need much reason to kill people.

Celestia is such an unique character, it's so sad that her class trial and plan was complete trash.
No kidding, a bit outta character she took a gamble on using Hifumi, she knew better but her trial is still thematic in the sense we watch the ultimate gambler's facade, her poker face if you will, fall to pieces.

why is no one pointing out that Celeste took a picture of Hifumi being "Attacked" and not helped him
knowing how rude celeste was to em all, it'd not be that surprising why she didnt do anything

@@hunjuli5245 I believe it would take far less energy to take a picture for proof rather than actually try to help (when she doesn't even have a chance against the attacker, plus she actually did not want to help Hifumi), she could've also taken the picture from an awkward angle or without the 'killer' noticing etc. But yes I do agree that it was a bit odd and the writers didn't think it through

Makoto Naegi: OBJECTION! So, the defendant crawled into that bag in order to break into the bank, is that correct?
Celestia Ludenberg: Is it not obvious?
Makoto Naegi: Is it really that obvious? I have proof that the defendant didn't hide himself in that bag.
Byakuya Togami: Well, then... What are you waiting for? Present this evidence already!
Makoto Naegi: Take that!
Byakuya Togami: Is... Is that the bag the defendant hid in?
Makoto Naegi: Yes, but there is one thing that's been bothering me. If the defendant was really hiding in this bag then...how did he tie the knot from the outside of the bag?!
Celestia Ludenberg: What?
Makoto Naegi: If he was inside the bag, it would have been impossible for him to tie the knot from the outside!
Byakuya Togami: But then, how did he do it?
Makoto Naegi: It's simple, he didn't.
Celestia Ludenberg: What?! What are you saying?
Makoto Naegi: I'm saying my client wasn't hiding in that bag at all, he was stuffed in there...by this very witness!
Hifumi Yamada: [confused] What?!
Makoto Naegi: As you can see by this doctor's analysis, the defendant took quite the beating. While he was in the bag, he was unconscious!
Celestia Ludenberg: This...this is absurd!
Makoto Naegi: The witness attempted to dispose of the body, so he left the defendant in the bag, knowing he would drive by on the way back to the bank. When the witness and his partner passed the bag, he convinced his partner to throw the bag in with the others.
Byakuya Togami: But, why would he do that?
Makoto Naegi: Why, to dispose of the body of course. There are millions of bags of money in that bank and the witness knew it would take a long time before the victim was found. But unfortunately for the witness, his victim woke up and tried to escape from his tomb. He was arrested on the spot and the witness thought everything was over. But it's coming back to haunt him now!
Hifumi Yamada: You guys can't...He can't...This...THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING TO MEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
[5 Minutes Later...]
Byakuya Togami: [Satisfied] Well, that certainly was an interesting trial. However, I am now ready to deliver my verdict. I find the defendant, Yasuhiro Hagakure...[the words "Not Guilty" appear on screen]

Hadn't played Danganronpa in a while and forgot what to do so I had to watch this to figure out what to do
Honestly this has to be my favorite third case because here since it's the first game and actually works because the shock factor is bigger and the complexity of this case is really the only one that reaches the second and third games I'm even willing to argue that this case is more complex than let's say Danganronpa 2 Case 2! Overall it's a really solid trial!
36:16 man kyoko always will be my favorite danganronpa character, without her no one would still be alive, and more so in this case simply Kyoko is one of the best female characters along with Chiaki from dr2 Goodbye despair
I pretty much agree, Kyoko is very smart and carrying the game on her shoulders. Celesgiri >>> Makoto x Kirigiri
Chiaki is pretty cool, but is the only one who actually died in the end, which makes me very sad :C.
The best female characters are the protagonists' partners, though I feel we should exclude Kaede from that mark since she didn't even make it through the first trial... still love her.
I still love Leon, Taka, Mondo and Chihiro. They are my favourites.
Thanks for this video. I actually solved the case before the class trial (to be honest, I HATE playing as Naegi Makoto and would much rather play as Kirigiri Kyoko but I digress), but I still don't fully understand the class trial stuff so I kept getting game over on this case XD

Hm. Both are liars, both dress kind of crazily, both have unpredictable emotions, both have a certain specified drink they like (for Celeste it’s tea and for Kokichi it’s carbonated drinks), both have some kind of superiority complex, and both came up with extremely convoluted plans in a trial only to start having a tantrum when things start falling apart (for Celeste obviously this one, for Kokichi Trial 4). They really are alike.
It really says something when even the worst trial is one I still enjoy a lot. Taeko's methods may be convoluted, but I still enjoy seeing her get angry.

Celeste is one of the best characters in thh. All the adaptability talk is amazingly in a way cruel. Her dream is pretty cool & you can see why she took the motive. Also she kills (imo) 2 of the worst characters in thh. Also said killings take place in an elaborate yet brilliant plan.

let's review, the reasons for sayaka (failed) to kill was to save her friends, for leon, high defense, mondo, to ensure that his secret was not leaked, now celestia, celestia was in no financial condition and could very well get the money by betting , besides that castle was useless
@@eddie2300 Replay the chapter. Chihiro came to Mondo because Chihiro wanted to be able to tell everyone the secret. Mondo got angry and jealous, and murdered Chihiro.

@@kakeruyamaguchi2733 While I do agree, Hifumi did harass and very visibly thirst over her several times, and I think it made her uncomfortable which would explain why she hated him so much. So they both of them crossed a line, I guess.

Celestia Ludenberg set the standard for all C3CT blackened, being unnaturally composed or docile, then having an extreme personality shift when cornered (And naturally also being revealed to be internally monstrous and straightup homicidal). This isn't just for canon games, it also extends to fan-made material, too. I'm sorry that I don't have many examples to list outside of *a certain Ultimate Guitarist of a fan game.*

Rewatching this after ive completed the game, it is painfully obvious that celeste is the culprit. If she hadnt tried to push that it was hiro so much and denied that hifumi faked his death in the nurses office but instead ask how hifumi was alive even with all the blood it would have been a much more confusing case atleast for me
If there is a rebuttal showdown in this game, it would be 11:30 for Celeste

Yes, planning to return to this eventually. Just focusing on more recent stuff at the moment. For the original game, I only recorded the Class Trials, Free Time Events, and School Mode stuff. Also, did a couple videos for the console and PC versions. This Anniversary Edition is first time I'm actually doing a proper playthrough.

Honestly ion know bout you all but this chapter was actually pretty fun and interesting to me, I honestly love Celeste (not as much a I love aoi) but I wish the motive was better but it also fits her character since she’s the ultimate gambler meaning she probably took her chances to get the money and killed somebody.
Either wise, the only chapter three I hate with my life was DR2 that was so bad, I had no idea what was happening, Mikans execution sucked, Mikan sleeping with hajime scared me to death TWICE, Mikan being fan service sucked.
Anyways this chapter was honestly pretty cool and I love celestia and I love the way she had an outburst of anger. She’s so silly 😋
