It was so obvious when e-trade dropped the original creator of these brilliant commercials. E-trade was convinced that all they needed was any baby standing in a crib and they'd just wing it. They gave no concern to the dialogue. They thought as long as they had a baby in front of the camera, the content was unimportant. And boy did it show. The commercials never regained the popularity they had when a talented comedic writer was writing the script. So the take-away of the new commercials was e-trade doesn't believe in hiring quality people.
Here’s the sad part; FOX is still running these same guys out there on the studio show. Time to retire them all.
