Time and time again I hear that the bullseye reticle is useless, but then people that have used it in extreme stress situations praise it for it's fast dot acquisition.
Ok for him that’s not a problem at all. His training means he has muscle memory for dot acquisition. For you and many others who struggle to find the dot, sure use the bullseye.
The only use I've found for the Circle is shotguns. I have a 509T on my 1301 and the circle is a good indicator of where all the buck shot in going to land.
Why? I never understood that, handguns have less points of contact, are strictly to be utilized as a close range solution, and a pistol is to be drawn during an emergency risk risk situation where micro seconds matter. I dont understand why its a bad thing to quickly draw your pistol, cover your adversary with the circle and pull the trigger in a quick, emergency manor. It just works for me.

to prevent carbon removal being an issue recomment using a thin thin layer of lip gloss/ chap stick or vaseline on the glass, carbon buidling up on that is no issue.
I think it would be perfect, yeah it's bigger but extremely feature rich and rugged Trijicon. Idk also check the RDS overhang over the gun's ejection port. I think it's the most beautiful RDS on the market and would compliment the already beautiful CZ Shadow 2 Compact.
Congratulations you’re a star. I can see plenty of you but I don’t think there’s one clear close up of the RMR HD at all in the whole video, just images of you.
This video is just what the title says: an overview. If you want more, the video they put up on their main channel about both of the new trijicon optics has all the cool up close views you could ask for.
3.25 for pistol. Maybe I would consider 1 for rifle. Think of the accuracy/speed you're considering; at 50yds, 3.25 MOA is 1.65" and I doubt anyone could achieve that accuracy whereas you'll pick up the dot faster and on a lower intensity. If you're using it on a precision rifle piggybacked to a high magnification scope, then and only then might you consider a more precise dot.
Why in the world did trijicon fail to make this fully enclosed with a solar charging function and the ACSS reticle with a green led the world will never know. Guess they didn’t want to make the ultimate rmr….And I’d like to see it made out of titanium with a shorter battery life and clearer glass since I’m wishing for the ultimate handgun optic.
That RCR optic is enclosed, but with less features than the RMR HD. (No reticle options / No forward facing light sensor / and its comically large, and aesthetically unappealing (at least for me). It costs just as much as the RMR HD ($849 vs $849). I'd be tempted to use the RCR if it had all the features of the HD, but there are many other optics which do a lot more and cost a lot less.@@Cant_Stop-Wont-Stop0329

Holosun must pay a lot for the astroturfing on every video ever . Look , some people just don’t want to spend hundreds on a Chinese made optic , you’re not convincing us by going to video after video of Aimpoint, Trijicon ect .

It’s literally just a bigger dot in a stressful situation. You’re not going to see the bullseye if you’re that stressed
You mentioned the hood sticks out farther than the SRO, but trijicon says the SRO is 2.2” in length and the hd is 2.15”.
The only use I've found for the Circle is shotguns. I have a 509T on my 1301 and the circle is a good indicator of where all the buck shot in going to land.
You’re absolutely right. The circle dot really does suck on a pistol optic.

If it works for you then there’s nothing to debate. Keep doing what works for you.
I threw this on top of my acog and the 55moa ring is nice it’s a cheat hold for 10 yards
Mine didn’t come with a cheat code index card, it came with a user manual instead.
Mine too
The 5 i got didn't come with one either@@coachjoe4523
Hi, does the RMR HD optic fit to the Sidecar 2.0 holster (Glock 19 MOS)? Or does the holster need to be modified? thx
Only problem is it’s sold out everywhere. lol.
It was in stock on Optics Planet this morning💪🏿
@@johnpmm01 yea it’s backordered a couple months through. I place an order a month ago. Still waiting! Will be worth it though.

Great review Lucas. 👍
Your young eyes don’t need a bullseye. Makes all the difference for quick acquisition and what is the downside?
to prevent carbon removal being an issue recomment using a thin thin layer of lip gloss/ chap stick or vaseline on the glass, carbon buidling up on that is no issue.
Would this go well on a CZ Shadow 2 Compact?

Looking good 💞 ilove it "Love"
The bullseye is great for zeroing and shooting at distances

@trexarmory would u recommend the rmr HD or rcr on a stacstto cs? Thank u in advance
HD would be gigantic on a CS. Regular RMR would be fine.
1 MOA red dot or 3.25 MOA red dot??
1
3.25
Either.😂
Thx Trevor
You tell that someone never played Contra.
How does this mount with acog
Deciding between the 1 MOA vs 3.25...
3.25 for pistol. Maybe I would consider 1 for rifle.

3.25 is perfect size under nods. Surprisingly, 1 MOA has a bigger dot under nods 😫😫😫😫😫
"Love,iloveyou"💞🇺🇸💞 stay safe
What irons to run for co-witness with the hd for glock are you using?
You don't need to cowitness a handgun optic
Will this fit on a Glock 43X?
My guess is no as a Trijicon RMRcc will not and this is larger but it’s only a guess
It will not, 43X has Shield RMS-C footprint.

Shorter battery life? Did you mean longer? I like some of the new features, but I feel Trijicon did drop the ball on making this the ultimate optic.
The new trijicon Rcr is and enclosed pistol red dot.

Wish they would offer green
Dude thats holosun
HOW WOULD THIS WORK ON A AR 15 TYPE RIFLE,
There are much better suited red dots for a rifle, unless this piggybacked a magnified optic.

First!
They copied the other optic makers with the batt compartment on the outside, so slow. Not worth the money. Get a Holosun instead
money
Cool story but I just had a 508t and an 509 fail in the span of a couple months….rmrhd gang
Chinese scrap > trijicon

Holosun is fucking garbage dude. Gtfo. Owned 3 not a single one held zero..
Just save up for longer & get a real optic. ❤
