Darius, age 15, survived with his younger brother, Draven, age 38.

  • @SamElZombie

kudos to orisa, she's been 1 year old for the last 6 years

  • @itsnotpan.

Overwatch burned basically everything to do with Overwatch. The game, the lore, the people...

  • @krocan5032

Sett being 14 is a great Jojo reference.

  • @deusadasfadas5438

The legendary time traveler Cassidy is something I'll never forget

the funny thing about Kiriko being a similar age to Hanz and Genj in lore but extremely different in appearance is that it says a lot about how they age down their female character designs. Cant look older than 25!!

  • @Disney8272

This whole situation is so weird because Blizzard didn't need to add the ages, nobody was asking for that (as far as I know). It feels like they wanted to give us a bit of lore because they know we like it, but wanted to put in as little effort as possible, clearly not understanding that lore isn't satisfying if it makes no sense with what is already established.

  • @TheAverageNooob

How depressing would it be to be a writer for this. Imagine you work all month long hours. Then some PR or media guy just slaps a number on the age, instantly nuking the backstory.

  • @capnqueer2286

This is why either leaving it vague or having an already set up timeline to reference is so important. Never would have happened if they had just made a timeline and just put things where they made sense.

It's astounding how Blizzard manages to keep finding new ways to kill their titles, it's almost admirable.

You forgot to mention that, in Kiriko's own Overwatch page, it specifically states she was 12 when Hanzo nearly killed Genji.

The thing with mercy and tracer looking so young is that mercy’s nano medicine slows down her aging. And tracer’s time abilities also slow down her aging. Still a pretty weird explanation.

It's actually really suprising how accurate you can get with league lore, damn

  • @emilioa.bayardoarceo758

There's an Spain lady who did a video talking about the mess Blizzard did to the Reaper's Lore and she said that Reaper join to the police at 3 years XD

  • @yngvildrthevoracious

So as a former Overwatch lore buff, there was definitely a lot of canonical ages on the champion profiles ! For example it's one of the details that made Hanzo/Cassidy very popular early on : Hanzo was stated to be canonically 39 and Cassidy to be 38.

  • @fallentitan9811

Tracer to my knowledge stopped aging due to the chrono anchor she wears, as that keeps her anchored in the timeline. Mercy is almost certainly kept young using nanites, as that is her expertise alongside medicine. The other ages are Blizzard being blizzard.

  • @TimeyWimey.

I find it weird how they gave Mercy an age because part of her lore is that she essentially doesn't age because of her tech/abilities, so how old she actually is was supposed to be a mystery. Multiple characters even comment about her uncanny vitality in game.

  • @itsgonnabeokay9341

That's why you keep the age a bit vague like in League of Legends

Actually there is one game in which you can precisely tell the age of characters. It's well done in Rainbox Six Siege universe and it is supported by LoRe.

  • @QuestionableLogic_

I promise you that 80% of the people who were mad about the Sett being 14 joke were only upset because they want Sett to use R on them into his mattress
