Very good video, thanks for the invite. I worked in Alaska in 1976 and bears are the most powerful and dangerous animals up there. I was surprised to see the rangers letting people walk thier trails. No escape. Glad you you guys are safe. Thanks again.
I just got back from a week at Cataloochee in the North Carolina Smokies. Saw a bunch of elk, a mama black bear, and her two cubs. I thought it was glorious. Then I come home and watch your video. Thanks for ruining my trip. Now you know I'm just kidding. Thanks for taking me along to someplace I probably will never get to see. It was truly glorious!
"Cat", here, Guys! Have spent many, many summer seasons in Alaska on the Kenai River near Soldotna with trips all over but never got to do this one! Thanks Guys! What a trip! Keep up the good work! Appreciate you both! Be safe out there!
If not friend? Why friend shaped 😂. Very cool video but I’ll be doing that by myself because my wife ain’t getting in that plane and she’s not trying to get eaten, her words 😂. I think it’s cool to see all the bears doing Bear stuff 👍🏼
What a great time. We drove to AK the summer of 2019 and stayed in Homer. My brother in law owns the KOA camp so we stayed there. We took a plan to Lake Clark NP to see the bears. Was super cool to be down on the beach with the bears.
That's great. Yeah. There are several amazing ways to experience the bears of Katmai. We had a friend who did a similar excursion and really really loved it.
Thanks so much for sharing this. Watching the bears was so cool, I caught myself clapping and cheering for the first one that I saw catching a salmon! I loved watching them very much.
I’m so jealous! Have watched those bears the last few years. Someday I hope….in the meantime, it’s watching your wonderful video. Love the look on your faces!
You got some amazing videos. I lived in Alaska most of my life. My family moved there when I was 4 and I married and raised my children there. Job to us to the Continental USA I miss seeing all the wild life. We lived around a lot of wild life. We had 20 acres with our own game trail. I’m really ready to go home. Thank you 😊 for sharing your experiences with us.
Such amazing footage! It looks like you are having an amazing adventure. I noticed that all of you were wearing coats and I was wondering how the weather is there. It must be much cooler than the upper 90's we're having here in Missouri!
Summer is over up here. It is now cloudy and rainy most of the time here near the coast. There are occaisional sunny and warm days and partial days that are in the upper 60s. I think fall/winter starts to hit here next month.
Absolutely amazing experience! Beautiful photography and videography. Great production value in your video❣️ Thank you for allowing us to live vicariously through your travels.
My goodness what an experience. Definitely a bucket list!! The scenery in Alaska alone is stunning, the bears were a great bonus not to mention the excursion you were able to get on last minute. FABULOUS!!! Thank you for sharing and safe travels.
Tito, We loved Alaska, and I certainly enjoy your videos. I do have a question for you. Do you run your refer on propane and only provide enough electrical power for the refer computer to function, I am having problems setting my rig up that way.
With upgrades I made, I now have an abundance of power (810Ah of lithium batteries and 1740W of solar). So I do run the fridge on LP on rainy or dark cloudy days. But when the weather is nicer I run the fridge 24/7 on electric (inverter).
@@RVwithTito I have added 2 more 250 watt panels and now have 1,500 watts on the roof and 4 100 ah liFePo4 for a total of 400 ah of battery, am wondering how to turn off the 110 volt side of the power and just use the 12 volt control with a twisted wire to attach the control side.
@@boatnutt4340 Not quite following you. I leave our Multiplus II on 24/7. The AC input does go into a breaker on the AC panel though. I could flip that breaker and essentially remove AC power from the distribution panel yet still have DC 12V. That's just how mine is setup
I love your how to videos but this was especially nice to see you and the Mrs enjoy the work that made it worthwhile. A very rewarding video. Another UA-camr, Adventurevanman, whose name also happens to be Brian was working his seasonal job in Naknek, not far from where you were. He works a salmon tender there this time every year. He said it was unually wetter than normal this year but was clearing up just as the salmon slowed down. Stay safe and God bless
All direct flights into Brooks Falls at the time ran about $1K plus or minus hundred depending on the charter company, type of plane, time at the falls, availabity, etc.
Just recommended fir that platform only. It is a National Park and we've noticed all of the NPs like Denali are currentlyrequiring masks indoors. Nowhere else in Alaska is this the case though.
Enjoyed your video. Just a suggestion, most folks call 'Public Lands' BLM land. Technically, BLM land is incorrect. They are 640,000,000 wonderful glorious acres mostly in the West that are owned by all Americans; you and me. They are indeed 'Public Lands'. BLM only manages this land for us. Enjoy them while you can because there is an ongoing attempt to privatize all of our 'Public Lands'. To learn more, Google 'the privatization of Public Lands'. Please consider voting AGAINST these folks who want to take them away from us. It's no joke!
I literally laughed out loud at those romantic bears ruining everyone’s photos 😂
Hey Flip! Yeah that male was persistent. The female actually caught a salmon once while he was doing his business. Too funny 😂

That one bear sitting in the middle of the river eating his salmon. 😂
Nom, nom, nom. They tear the skin, tail and and other fatty parts off first, then eat the meat.
It's absolutely insane how easily they walk around in the water as powerful as it is. Thanks for the video...
That's right. Pretty amazing.

Never run they say. Luckily we didn't encounter any on the trail, but we were ready.
Wow, a wonderful life experience to be that up close to the bears. Thanks for sharing.
Our pleasure! I enjoy watching it too :)
It's like a pager that you get when you go out for dinner, only this time you are on the menu! 😁
Only when they run out of fish :) Yeah. That was strange when they handed us the pager.
The bear necessities, looks like a great time!

Just amazing. Can’t wait until we go. Great job as always Brian.
Can't wait for you to experience it in person.
Definitely on my bucket list. Thanks for sharing, Brian 🤙
Thanks for sharing this video. We really enjoyed it. Hope you have many more amazing excursions on your Alaska trip.
You bet! Yes. There have been more, but it's hard to top Brooks Falls.
That looked amazing! I would not want to encounter a bear on that trail! Thank you for sharing!
You're welcome. We saw several on the beach, lucky none on the trail. We were ready though 🥴.
while I love your RV improvement videos this one was off the charts! Great job! agreed it's a bucket list item
Glad you liked it! After all, this is why we do those mods. Right? We've been comfortably off-grid in Canada/Alaska for the last 3 months :)
We watched a live video of that last week, really awesome to watch, I'm sure much better to be there...
Yeah the live bear cams are great, but it can be addicting 😀We saw the cameras mounted there under the platforms.
