This is the best performance by a fire department and the best audio and video presentation of a fire scene I've seen in the two years I've been watching UA-cam
I watch tons of firefighting videos on UA-cam, and this is one of my favorite channels. I am blown away by every video. The way these firefighters perform is phenomenal. If I’m in trouble, I want these guys coming after me. Every time they give it their all. And their system is great.
THIS is the kind of videos i love seeing, not only the efforts being preformed but a commentary of why they are doing what they are doing. I often find myself sitting and scratching my head cause i don't know whats going on so its nice to see the why along with the physical efforts
Was this professionally produced by the fire department? If not, it is a great unpaid presentation with real time radio traffic and explanation subtitles. I'll subscribe. No UA-cam firefighters comments on how to do it right. How refreshing.
Great example of going slow to go fast. No manic power plays, no panicking, everyone on the job is treated with equal trust & respect and everyone knows their role.
As soon as they got the front door open that alfa-bravo bedroom flashed. They gave it the oxygen it needed. Could have done a transitional attack on that room while forcing the door.
9 minutes and the house is still standing after a second fire extinguish. You guys rock everybody else's socks off. I have seen videos of Eastern departments on similar buildings, they can't hang.
With the inferno raging inside ( 1:30 ) the tightly boarded-up structure, at 2:20 , you could see how the fire and hot gasses had quickly traveled through the walls up to the second floor while the firemen were attempting to break through to the first.. Sad...It looked like a nice residential property at one time...Now with two burns to its name (according to the captions), the structure will more than likely be torn down...
Tad late, but am I crazy in thinking that perhaps some cross-training with the guard or a military group that uses explosives for entry might save considerable time on these? I've seen a fair number of videos now where they have significant difficulty entering because of these boarded up type entrances. A small detcord shot in the hands of a skilled demolitionist could have probably opened that door in under a minute with a pre-prepared charge, and would likely cause very little more damage than the necessary use of chainsaws and other heavy cutting gear to effect entry. Maybe too dangerous to try to control with that many firefighters around?
Boarded up and 2nd time burning. I don't think I would've sent anybody in. I'm not risking my guys for something like this. That's just me and I wasn't there.
To be fair, 1 victom did exit who was obviously squatting. Sometimes you have to get that primary done on an abondoned building, tough call. Great job as usual, if I had to pick I'd say that seccond alarm should have gone out sooner

Stockton has it together, a model of professionalism.

I believe it is from Stockton Fire, I believe it’s their PIO or Op1
Much respect. You are one of the best departments in the country.
Before JB shows up...they even did not have to use the deck gun!Very good work.
Yeah, he gets upset when the fire is knocked down before he has time to use the deck gun.
@@charlesgreathouse7376 Don’t forget his booster line lol.

What a great fire for observing flow path.

Great team work. SFD always aggressive, organized and using fine communication skills.
I learn a lot from your departments videos. Thank you for posting Houston Fire Rookie
Job well done. Communication is excellent , and Dispatchers are AWESOME.
Really interestig vidieo. Especially subtitles! Thanks from Russia!

Acacia road was mentioned in an old television show called Family.

Love you guys. Your the best. Thank you
Awesome work and video montage, keep it up guys !!
Awesome job! Be safe out there!!!
What does "filling" mean? "Engine 13 is assigned to fill at Company 9 in the heart of the City"
Filling is when an engine company moves to a strategic centrally located fire house so that they can quickly respond to emergencies
very nice work!!!

I wonder about these home owners. It's a second time for a fire and making it difficult for the fire fighters to gain entry.
So I just have a couple of questions. How many person crew do they run? And when they had engine 13 fill in at station 9 would they drive code or not?
Jacob Schuh 3 guys on a engine and 4 guys on the truck. Code 2 so no sirens or lights
Great vids 😉👍
Any info on what started this one?
Closed caption translation is unbelievable funny!

What is Operator 1?
According to the Google machine, OP1 is a Chiefs aide. I was wondering the same thing.
The Chiefs operator
looks boarded up
Abandoned, boarded, burned at least twice. Should be demolished as a hazard.
Or just let it burn!
@mtuckster Probably the squatter seen leaving the building.
What’s taking so long for vertical ventilation ????
