Amazing. I especially love the Kerry B. mix of this song. Edit: This this is just an amazing song. The original, the Perfect single mix, the live versions. It is one of my favorite songs.
for all those who hate adore: put jimmy chamberlin on the drums and more of those guitar riffs and it''ll be far and away their best album. for me, it's by far and away their best album just as it is. As for this song, I reckon 'Bodies' from MC was its early precursor.
This was the first version of this song I heard, and I always liked it more than the album version, which was stodgy, overly processed and missed the sound of a band ripping it out
I like both versions, one is more intimate according to the atmosphere of the album, this one is designed for live shows, they serve different purposes.
Beautiful Billy at the top of his game. Nobody writes songs like him.
A underrated haunting epic....the pumpkins in their prime 👌
My favorite Smashing Pumpkins song!!...
Its like romantic but violent
E bow MAKES this song!!
what?
Andres Ignacio the device Iha is using on his guitar.
@@andresignacio1282it's a hand held device that makes the guitar strings vibrate enabling endless sustain
@@thefog7067 thank youuuu
@@rollotwomassey thank youuuu
A hidden gem! Great version. The e-bow is so haunting.
I love that goth outfit style and obviously their ghostly alt-rock music..
Smashing Pumpkins is a beautiful band that creates such a dream-like sound. I love them,
This song fits in perfectly into the landscape of my dreams
James looks so cool
love this album and especially this song.
James Iha guitar is astonishing!!!
Iha makes his e bow scream on this song.
This is my first time seeing Kenny Aronoff play. He has great energy.
He does! He's crazy good too.
love The Smashing Pumpkins..check out the great Kenny Aronoff , awesome drummer.
Amazing. I especially love the Kerry B. mix of this song.
Edit: This this is just an amazing song. The original, the Perfect single mix, the live versions. It is one of my favorite songs.
I always been love with this song and this band! This was also when I
Really crushed on billy he reminded me of a vampire!

Brings me back to 2003.. ❤

When music was actually well thought out and good
Increible, 2 bateristas, 1 percucionista y un pianista.
very few comments on such a nice little song
D'Arcy is the hidden soul of this band... her impenetrable face and her trance
I have it on VHS too, back then DVD recorder devices wasn't so easy to find...
for all those who hate adore: put jimmy chamberlin on the drums and more of those guitar riffs and it''ll be far and away their best album. for me, it's by far and away their best album just as it is. As for this song, I reckon 'Bodies' from MC was its early precursor.
Bodies ' the best song they wrote imo ' totally agree with you
geez louise, Kenny is a beast here!
billy looks good in that video!!!!
❗
SHit no Jimmy.... quick get 3 drummers!!! xP
1 drummer, 2 percussionists
cannae bate jimmy on drums. best in world
excelente
Girls should stop breaking Billy's heart.
this is what they always do: this is what we call joy, but in a way it is just a curse.
I’ve always thought this song sounded best live.
It does. The studio version is great too...but live blows it away.
This was the first version of this song I heard, and I always liked it more than the album version, which was stodgy, overly processed and missed the sound of a band ripping it out
Completely agree with you on this...
It’s much more intense live. Alive.
I like both versions, one is more intimate according to the atmosphere of the album, this one is designed for live shows, they serve different purposes.
Yes, this song live sounds better...
최고네!
e-bow 4tw
mi piace molto questo video. un po' è merito della donna (della copertina dell'album ADORE) che appare sullo sfondo durante il video
wish they were still making music like this vs the new bland computer click crap
This was so awesome when I saw this, the album version sounded too over produced in comparison.
@thejohndavies that, and because most, if not, ALL of the album was recorded with a drum machine :/
I have this on VHS also, 3 tracks, think this recorded shortly after show in Dublin? 1998?
Smashing pumpkins evolution 8mr in Bandai wangan midnight wtf to different fans
Anybody know what happened to D'Arcy?
drugs mostly. that was a few yrs ago. I don't if she cleaned up. I hope so
+michael scaglione. Yeah I know that. I was talking about what she's doing now. Thanks though dude.
She's playing bass again (though not in a band per se), if that's what you're interested in knowing. She's clean.
That's really good to hear. Thanks..
She has a farm with horses.

Great live perfomance, but I don't like the drummer with all the drum fills and cymbals.. it's over doing it
The song is good but that album was mehhhhh, could never get into it, and I love SD, MC, and machina
ADORE potrebbe diventare l'album più apprezzato degli Smashing Pumpkins non immediatamente, ma... con il trascorrere del tempo
Funny…I love this album…speaking as someone who is not the biggest SM fan but a fan nonetheless.
I hear ebow guitar echoes of U2 and Big Country in this song
geez louise, Kenny is a beast here!
