Ooh, this is interesting! He does tend to pick really interesting colour palettes. Though I’ve only watched the anime, not read his manga yet. But I am a fan of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure! I do like the line art you drew to colour in! I do like the green background one. Having the pinks and purples blend more together for the smaller details in the swirl works for not drawing too much attention. But I feel like the blues and purples of the character blend a bit too much to really stand out against everything else. So the yellow one I like better. I feel like the character stands out better. Again, fun video! Thanks for sharing cool content for us to watch. Much appreciated.
Thank you so much for your comment 😁 was a pleasure reading it and makes total sense 😊 i just adore his color schemes, even though I have no idea about the story, I quit after half of the first season 😅
@@modauth the first season was a bit much. I did manage to get through it. I definitely enjoyed the second and fourth season more. but I understand if it's just not something you were interested in! Admiring his colour schemes is cool too
Please make a video playing sketchful custom lobbies, there are really fun ones out there, like anime word lists , or animal hybrids, Im sure you’ll like it.
I'm actually not bothered by the patchiness of the green, I think it adds a bit more character to the piece. However, I do think the yellow is my favorite. The yellow piece has a bit more contrast to it with the warm yellow and pink against the cool purple and blue, while the green piece has the cool green, purple, and blue bringing the previously warmer pink into a more cool feeling. I'd love to see you do this again with some more JoJo color schemes.
Yellow for me. When I colour large areas like backgrounds it usually it patchy. I’ll go over it a second or even 3rd time and it’s still patch. Am I doing something stupidly wrong? or is this normal since I’ve heard a lot of people having this problem. It seems to be worse with darker colours as well.
Yeah, same. The green was pretty patchy, even after going over it 3 times. It totally depends on the color and probably also the brand of your markers. Really want to try some gouache paints, they seem to cover perfectly
@@modauth gouache paints seem cool. I like it when it’s a little patchy since it adds character and texture but sometimes I look at my work and think "that’s a little too much character lol 😂". I use Ohuhu brush & Arrtx Brush and for the most part there good. I could possibly have more control with copic but personally I can’t really justify the price.
@@createmistakes tbh I have both Ohuhu and Coptic and I find the Ohuhu less patchy! The advantage to Copic is their colour selection isn’t as saturated.
This shows how colors are important in drawings to make them more appealing
True
Yes, it worked so good. Also it's perfect to just learn from the masters :)
Strangely enough, it looks great when you do it. I never really liked JOJO style color. But you pull it off nicely in your own work. Gorgeous! O_O
Thanks, that means a lot. Always was super scared of using such saturated colors but I think it was worth a try and I learned so much

Huh never even thought of this experiment. Coloring like another artist in my style? I might have to try it.
You should, it’s like stealing someone else’s knowledge 😅 honestly though , I learned so much just during this video
I prefer the yellow background but the shading of her hair in the first piece is perfect!
Thanks for letting me know, I totally agree with you :) the yellow one is my favorite as well
Your art came out so well! This was a great idea. I love the yellow one personally!
Thank you :)

Oh and a lot of people there are actually good artists :)
I'll go for the yellow one 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Ah that’s awesome 😁 I really couldn’t decide
I like the green one

Thanks for sharing your thoughts 😊 it was definitely fun and will keep on practicing with looking at some of his color schemes
Amazing video, love your content and your art
Means a lot, thanks for watching 🙌
Just an idea, but I'd like to see you reacting to Akihito Yoshitomi drawing, he has such a simple way of drawing construction, truly joyful to watch.
Oh, I have already :)
@@modauth Didn't know, that's great :)
:0 thanks
