@@AdrianSalisbury I have all option on and my Mac doesn’t see my phone. I only have option available for face time camera. Any suggestion?
@@LokahiHolistic is it a fairly recent iPhone? I’m not sure what Zoom needs to be honest 😬 it just shows up for me
How is the phone actually connecting to the Laptop, is it via Bluetooth or Wifi? I have a need to connect the laptop on one end of the room, because the WiFi is stronger there, but I need the camera to be at the other end of the room where the wifi is poor, if its Bluetooth it is OK but if both are connecting via the Wifi it won't help me

Which MacOS version and iOS version are required?
I don't know the version numbers but anything in the last year or two.
Why not just use your iPhone zoom app?
I opt to use my iPhone as the camera because it’s better than my laptop. I don’t use the iPhone app because for me, I often need the screen space a laptop provides to share documents or, if I’m in my acting class, be able to have the bigger laptop screen for a better view of class. The iPhone is too small for those things for me.
because in this scenario I want to be on my desktop, I just want a nicer camera than the built-in webcam. I would never use the phone app to host a meeting, it's too limited
@@TheGinger95 I would like to do the same thing. Did you find a way to use the Iphone as camera and the laptop as the screen where you see folks and share things?
@@melissadaarcarvajal5008 I did. So previously, I couldn’t get my Mac to pickup my iphone as the camera. After upgrading my laptop to a newer MacBook Pro and using my iPhone 14 Pro Max, I can use my phone as the camera. I followed the exact steps in this video. Works great.
