This was like their 3rd incarnation of being rock stars.
They made awesome music starting in the '73 and put out an album every 3yrs or so ever since up until 2012!

I Don't Want to Miss a Thing is a beautiful song - I really like it and Steven Tyler has a great voice. I see that the movie was Armageddon and it's a long time since I've seen it, I can't really remember the song to be honest. See that Steven Tyler's daughter, Liv Tyler was in it along with Bruce Willis. I have a couple of songs by Aerosmith - Walk This Way and another song, Dream On which I know you've already reacted to. You still need to Check out John Cougar Mellancamp. I first heard him on the radio in 1978 and he is now considered the most important Roots Rocker of a generation. I need a Lover had a long intro but FM radio played it over and over anyway. Paper in Fire, Check it Out Live Market Square 1987 and anything from Live Aid 1987. It goes on and on.
I have been a serious fan since 1980. I have seen him live six times, and they were the best six concerts I have been to. No one beats Mellencamp.

Seasons is my fav song of theirs. I've only been able to find it on YT unplugged, which is fine for me but not so much for a first time listener? Maybe?
The deeper you dig the better they get. "Milk Cow Blues"", "One Way Street", "Chip Away At The Stone", "St John", "Lick and a Promise" and "Moving Out" are just a few of the many great songs that aren't one of their "hits".

I remember when this movie came out in theaters. It was everywhere. This song was on MTV and everywhere else. It had a way of blending rock and orchestra to make it sound so...full.
This is such a beautiful song..the kind of love everyone strives to get.....kinda a departure from their usual style but still rocking it 💖. Might I suggest "Janie's Got a Gun". Another powerful song with message behind it 😳

Aerosmith was the first concert I ever saw, in 1993. Wow that was a lifetime ago. Reminds me that I am older than I think. I still feel like that 13yo girl going to her first concert when I hear Steven Tyler scream. Check out "What It Takes," "Dream On," "Rag Doll," "Crazy," and "Janie's Got A Gun." If you haven't already.

They have a cool cowboy song called Back in the Saddle and it’s one of their most famous songs. It was on the radio all the fucking time! It’s one of their main songs, so this one is not just me ok? Really badass song.

This song was played at my cousin’s funeral 2007 in Hexham abbey. He took his own life. Very very sad. Beautiful words which have such poignancy for me. My cousin, David was actually my mum’s cousin, so my second cousin. He was a year older than me, had 2 brothers but David was my favourite and I’d not seen him since we were teenagers in the ‘70’s. This song always brings me back to him.
One of my first love's and first concerts, I fell in love with in my teen years. "You See Me Cryin'" is a good one.

I love songs by many different artists. There are very few bands that I can say I follow almost all of their stuff. Queen is one. Aerosmith is the another. Some very good recommendations in the comments. This song is one I rarely listen to though. People who don't really know the band request this song. It's good but not always a favorite of those who know better ones. I'll add a fun video if you can get the official. (I've seen others react to it) PINK is the song. You'll for sure be saying WTF if you see it :) (while smiling)

Funny thing is Todd Rundgren was partner with Bebe Buell which is Liv's mom. She grew up thinking he was her dad and as a teen she found out Steven was actually her dad. Todd had raised her as his own.
