You, my lady, are one heck of a ship builder. Your workmanship and the way you master the art is outstanding. These are truly works of art! You must be proud of them. I was aboard the HMS Victory when I lived in Portsmouth, UK for about 3 months. Beautiful ship.

You are a great artist Olha. It is a pleasure to see the videos that you upload to UA-cam of your models because with them I learn a lot and you give me many ideas on how to solve problems that arise. I am assembling my first model (the Victoria nao, the ship that went around the world for the first time, with Juan Sebastián Elcano) and I am suffering a bit because it is perhaps too high a level to start with, but it was the boat that I wanted to ride . I will follow your steps here to see what else I can learn. A pleasure to greet. My name is Javier and I am writing to you from Malaga (Spain).

I would LOVE to attempt a model such as this but I bought a kit from ModelSpace. They sent me an incomplete kit ! After YEARS of e-mails they admitted they didn't have the parts for me to complete my ship, and they never will. I purchased from them and they must have known they could not fill my order but took my $500 anyway. They then gave me a big runaround for over a year. I bought EVERY modeling tool imaginable, from tape to bandsaw, all while being fed a line from ModelSpace. I finally gave up on my dream of creating one of these fine works of art. A year later the started sending me advertising, asking me to buy more models. I love watching you build but it creates such a sadness in my heart I just can't. You are so talented I wish you all the best and hope you create many more of these beautiful models. So sorry I cannot follow or subscribe.
If you have all the tools, you can make all the parts that are missing! What kind of ship are you building? If it's a KIT, then there should definitely be drawings with the anatomy of your ship!
This video reminded me of the very first square rigger I ever built. When I was a teenager my parents gave me a plastic model kit of the Constitution. It was about three feet long and it was my first time doing intricate rigging. I had it displayed on shelf in front of a window in my bedroom. Our cat who also enjoyed lounging on the workbench, on one day accidentally knocked the model to the floor and all my work was ruined, but I loved the cat, so all was okay.
My cat did the same with my first model, but it was completely accidental - he fell from the bookshelf on the table where the model was, and then fell to the floor with her. I had to repair the ship as it was on real ships after the shipwreck))) but I liked the process - so everyone survived and the cat and model. But after this adventure, the cat does not come close to the models...
This is one of the most detailed VICTORYs I ever saw, the rigging is magnificent! Unfortunately it's heartbreaking to see that experts are now saying that the original colors are closer to beige than yellow.
Hi Olha, I have been looking at your building skills for a few days and now I joined your channel. I built the Victory but you made a much better job of the rigging, nice work.
Great work! If you ever get to the UK it is worth going to Portsmouth, Victory and HMS Warrior are both there and you can go aboard, both marvellous to see :)
Beautiful, well done. To get wind blown sails for my models I make moulds then paint the shaped sails with either thinned down varnish or sugar water. Varnish is best.
Just superb ....I stopped and reran the video multiple times just to let all that excellent rigging sink in...I muted the music at some point....the video has a weakness...it's too short to be able to really appreciate what a magnificent job you've done.
