4:52 I did this for all 5 and 6 star on full chaos diff dw8, hard but quite enjoyable for I think everyone, Cai Wenji was TRUE PAIN tho that girl doesnt do good combos/damage even with custom damage built 4star weapon
I have played DW4, DW6, DW7, DW8, and DW9. DW9 is the game I enjoy playing the most among these; it's like a guilty pleasure. I just like the combat animation and smoothness of it so much. It also has the best graphics, best character design, and the best story cutscenes for me. The game has a lot of downsides, but in the end, I still like it a lot
I would imagine some of the things that made the older dw games harder back then would be a bit easier and more manageable in a modern take of those games, but at the same time I don't know that I would want a modern take per say as much as I would just love to have anything at all for the older games even just simply porting them.
9:02 if you have a PS3 you can do the date glitch where you change the date back to 2008 (been a while) and than within a set time use Liu Bei and Zhen Ji and finish Guan Du. Im pretty sure the youtube video is probably still around here. I still have my save file have all the horses
Ahhh nice! PS3s suck though (for content creators) because they have built in HDCP & it overheats so much, gotta buy another one so I can try to enjoy a DW7E run
@@TheNightowlGaming i know that feeling all too well i lost my first ps3 which had my DBZ raging Blast 1 & 2 and all three of my Dynasty Warriors games 6-8 were all erased the pain to redo everything again was just painful still havent gotten to where i once was
Technically you rated defeating Lu Bu #1, but in DW4, the rare weapon grind required doing it twice: once at Hulao Gate for Eclipse (the CAW pike) and once at Xiapi for the Kirin Fang (because yes, the actual achievement is to eliminate Diaochan). EDIT: Did I say twice? It was actually four times! I should have said you had to fight an ENRAGED Lu Bu twice for the aforementioned, fight one in Lu Bu's Revolt on the Dong Zhuo side that will probably be enraged for Horror, and finally fight a non-enraged Lu Bu in The Imperial Seal for the Savage Tiger. Also, I have to imagine Yueying's is a nightmare to pull off.
@@TheNightowlGaming It's on the Nanman Campaign, and playing as Yueying means Zhuge Liang is your commander. I had to go look up what the secret objective was, and it was to get all of Zhuge Liang's strategies to work correctly and win both duels. You're getting Hero of the Three Kingdoms if you pull it off at all. One of the guides for this weapon boasts that he did it "in under an hour".
It’s quite tricky. Best to set the difficulty to beginner and play someone OP (I used Bao Sanniang LV150 with Velocity and Induction) and hope for the best of luck. It’s recommended to use save scumming if you fail. Note: It is a goal, so it’s required for the trophy “Goal Getter”
Gotta preface this by saying I'm not too deep into 3, 4, 6 (and naturally 9), only played them a fair bunch compared to the rest Having recently started a new save for 5 and unlocked everything, only needing to grind for playing in Chaos, the hardest part across all DW main line is having the will to go through all the grind. There are shortcuts and cheeses here and there for various things especially in later titles, such as defeating Lu Bu (e.g. Induction/Velocity/Jubilation/Cyclone/Slash setup in 8) which makes it a YMMV depending on how hard you want to make it to be. Item and/or level grind in PS2 era titles though... Fourth or fifth weapons also depend on whether or not guides are in equation, as some of the unlock conditions are quite impossible to discover yourself Lu Xun on 5 was quite hard, but I did his fourth weapon on his first musou run without any prior grinding on Lu Xun himself with the following setup: Tiger Amulet 20/Herbal Remedy 20/Wind Scroll/Tortoise Amulet 18 (didn't have the fifth slot at the time, you can opt in for Green Scroll but gotta play way more carefully) with Ice Orb, no bodyguards. Cao Pi is way harder even on his nerfed Wu Zhang stage. Sorry for quite the long comment, but it's a good discussion video I'm compelled to talk about some of the points a lot
No I love the long comments! Ill try out the tips and yeah its definitely a hard to list to make and depending on experience adn comfortability w the games, each feat will vary in difficulty, so I went off a general feel of what people say they have struggled w along with my interpretation :)
#1 would have to be trying to save all your allies in the battle of Yi Ling, Shu side on hard difficulty in DW3. Some one definitely f***ed up when designing that level cause your allies just don't stay alive long enough at all. And to add to that, the Wu generals have double the defense for no god damn reason other than to either piss you off or in spite of Lie Bei (justifiably) wanting revenge and think Wu is in the right so by the time you Kill a Wu general even with a 4th weapon, 2 or 3 of your ally generals across the map are already dead. And that is even with stopping the fire attack as it ends up not doing anything to raise your ally's moral or drop Wu's so there is basically no reward for it where stopping the fire attack in DW4, 5 & 8 have more incentive and swings the battle in you and your ally's favor so there ends up actually being an award for it
trying to beat 3 lubu clone in dw9e in chaos difficulty when other named npc is around too, outside of a field (which means u just waste time if you fight them instead of clearing fields)
@@TheNightowlGaming in dw9e ur time is much more limited cuz of troops. Fighting them one on one is very easily but in chaos difficulty they are huge dmg sponge. During the challenge to summon one of the beast, you are gonna need to kill em fast or abandon the objective.
For me. Getting red hare in dw6 is on top 1. I completed all the legendary horses except red hare to the point i just gave up griding for it. Killing lubu in the hardest difficulty in hulao gate is a bit easy for me tbh
1000 KO's was never really tough for me i always in every stage cleared the map of every enemy. For me the feat i'm trying to accomplish is every achievement in the Warriors series. I just have Strikeforce and to finish Samurai Warriors 2. But there were some tough ones. DW6 required every character skill tree maxed out. Warriors Orochi 2 required all characters proficencies maxed. Those were journeys. Dynasty Warriors 9 i've beaten the story with every character i liked how each character had an ending and wanted to unlock them all i have over a million kills in 9. And i really love 9 empires too. Glad to see Xtreme Mode get mentioned i loved it so much and played it so much as a kid but it was tough likely because the internet not being what it is today to find out stuff.
Thats a crazy accomplishment, getting every achievement that's awesome & yeah for some I knew #10 would be easy for them, but I needed something to put there lol
I love that Xtreme Mode made this list - and at such a high number, too! 🥲 The amount of times I’ve mopped that mode just to lose to some bullshit on level 38 or something is alarming. And honestly there’s something strangely calming about going through and weapon/item hunting, especially in 3-5, but that could just be the completionist in me. But as for everything else on this list? 100% agree, even if it’s just stuff I’ve watched you struggle with (rip lu xun). Shocked Xiaoqiao’s Nanman Campaign didn’t make it as an honorable mention 😂
Lu Bu in dynasty warriors 4 was a NIGHTMARE. I always ran from him when I was growing up. I even ran away from him on Easy mode. Now a days, he's still hard, but when I'm Cao Cao, I'm pretty good as well. But....duel mode.....I broke soooooooooo many controllers. 😆
Remembering the answers to the questions for the scholar if you got a question wrong in dw7. Playing conquest from scratch with another character to lvl them up in 7 xl. Trying to figure out the what ifs in 8. Annoying a task to chase down a fleeing character in 7 and 8. So far thats all I got the older ones wasn't that hard when you make it a race to kill a lot of officers before your sibling does.
Because I have 5 extreme legends and not the original, item hunting is pretty hard for me lol. Like I have less than half unlocked and I don’t even know how I got them or how you get them. So I’m going to have to search them all up online.
Killing Lu Bu at Hu Lao on chaos in DW5 was one of my greatest childhood achievements. Ma Chao with the shadow harness. Ma Chao is my dude, it was serendipity when I discovered all of his mounted attacks go to one side. Very effective way to get in a bunch of attacks and then run the F away lol.
I am not surprised fighting Lu Bu is number 1, trying to beat him at level 1 is impossible I remember in dw2 you would see pretty much every general playable and nonplayable surrounding him and you're like WTF then u fight him and see why.
How is the core gameplay of DW9? DW8 is great, but omg the combat just feels too 'floaty' and detached. I've never played any other musou game period with so much floatiness, and after playing the game for hundreds of hours to fully complete the story mode and ambition mode it's *hard* to go back to it. It feels like you're fighting cardboard props of enemies, not actual enemies.
Keeping allies alive is definitely the hardest one for me. I tried so many times getting the Nightmare Brush from DW7:XL. DW7:XL in general though, on full star stage and nightmare difficulty, surviving yourself isn’t a problem since healing is very easy, your allies though are so weak that you have to do everything yourself. Plus, enemy’s officers could heal and get defence 2x attack 2x all the time.
Lu Bu in Dynasty Warriors 4 was definitely the most OP Lu Bu. His move list was His move list was short but OP. When I did "Hardest Difficulty" runs I used a Created Character using Lu Bu's Move Animations. You could do infinite chains just from his basic combos like it was DW6 with zero skill. After getting beat by him so many times, it was incredibly satisfying to do the challenges with Lu Bu.
Don't know if you're reading this but there's a super easy method getting red hare in Dw6. you have to set your system clock time back...etc. Also, it's usually named Dusk Dream, Dawn Dream, Black Dream and ultimate Dream.
I got all the dynasty warriors games just need to get the rest of the dynasty warriors empire games that i definitely going to collect i still got a few of them
DW7E is the biggest pain (for content creators) cause PS3s have built in HDCP so I cant record anything without an extra splitter & they overheat so fast, I gotta buy another one
Yeah i agreed with all this lu bu was hard in dynasty warriors 3 and 4 dynasty warriors 6 was also kinda hard too especially when you try to face lu bu and my dynasty warriors 6 the game frozen and i had to start over
What a nice and creative idea for a list! Now that you've listed them all, I kinda want to try and achieve all of these things 😁 Also, as a person who got every item except 1 in DW4 at max Lvl on Normal (for some reason), I think that honorable mention should have made it way higher 😅
I don’t know how but my brother would always get to 1000 kills extremely easy while I struggled the entire 20 something minutes and I found it hilarious🤣
Getting the trophy “Ultimate Rating” in DW8XL is one of the hardest and most grindy trophies ever. You have to get an A ranking on all Free Mode stages, which the requirements to getting an A are vague. First, you need to get to a certain KO count. Second, you need to beat the stage in a time limit. These two will be different depending on the stage. And the most vague one is getting enough feats, which just means to do at least 2 of the listed goals (this means that you can also do the trophy “Goal Getter” with this trophy, another grindy trophy.) The first two requirements aren’t bad, but are annoying because the game doesn’t tell you how many KOs you need and how much time you have for an A until the end, so you have to do a lot of save and resetting. The feats are an added annoyance as some of the goals are a pain to get (ex: killing enemies with Storm Rush). And again the game doesn’t tell you how to get feats. All of this combined with the sheer amount of stages in Free Mode means you will be stuck doing it for a long time. As someone who Platinum this game, this trophy is even harder than the secret weapons trophy because at least those only require one thing and the requirement is listed. This trophy was a pain getting and I’m glad I got in the end. (Hope you enjoyed my essay) 😊
@@TheNightowlGamingGood luck with it if you ever give it shot! Honestly I can probably make a Top 10 for DW8XL alone lol. A lot of trophies are grindy af.
I been playing dw since #2 came out way back, I've been addicted ever since. The replay value on this genre is crazy 💯 i still enjoy playing all of them to this day
Defeating Lu Bu on dw 5 and 6 are Very easy even at chaos. On Dw5 you just need to juggle him with C5 while using fire orbs. On Dw6 you just need Flash on your weapon then do full musou and hes good as dead. Also playing as meng huo is even more difficult than Dian Wei on dw6 XD
You’re right about DW9. I couldn’t even finish a story with any of the characters.. it’s sad cause I was really wanting the open world to work and it just doesn’t unfortunately
I honestly try to get her first every time I can, just for the sheer thrill of terror. I remember doing this in DW4 and retreating so far back in hopes that my entire army could do... something... to help, lol.
Hardest things for me were I believe it was in 4 extreme legends or 5 extreme legends and doing the level for Lubu on the highest difficulty trying to get his very last weapon... that was easily the hardest battle to this day for me lol. It was also the first time I broke a controller in anger and frustration. I also found Ma Chao unlocking his last weapon as well very hard but that was more due to the ai and how much they would block your attacks was so frustrating.
I totally remember my friend being so pissed I got Red Hare within 1 month of playing DW6 while he had to spend 6 years (irony right?) to get it, so he would come over to my house just to play while having the red hare mount 😂
Fighting enemy officers in DW6E is already hard when you carry over weapons. The enemy officers will have the upgraded versions on their weapons if you used them in a previous playthrough. I never found Red Hare in DW6, it was the first thing that came to me from seeing the title.
Not a Dynasty Warrior game, but unlocking Orochi X in Warriors Orochi 2 is hell for me. Since the requirement is to beat all stages in Dramatic Mode, you need to unlock all the stages, where some of the also have specific requirements, like maximizing proficiency of certain character and such.
DW3 Xtreme legend weapons are actually pretty easy, and doable if you go using gan ning as your second char (but main char used) : his musou either is used to gain a but amount of time moving or one shotting officers. back in the days on PS2 I farmed them playing solo with 2 controler and split screen... one difficulty was keeping my underleveled "first character" alive :D
The biggest difficulty were the time limits on some of the tasks, plus the fact that occasionally you basically had to be in more than one location at the same time. I absolutely needed the help of a friend in some of those cases. Hard to believe someone might have managed those alone, regardless of skill level. But, certainly, a few of the weapons were pretty easy to get. Just not all of them.
btw im a Old School DW3 starting fan of the series so im glad to finally find a good DW-centric channel in this (btw DW3's Superior is still one of the series best feel good songs though Arena is up there too)
Honorable mention being playing through the Battle of Tong Gate in DW8. Your options for playing through that stage are rough. Wang Yi, Xu Zhu, and Yuan. Give me Zhang He or Cao Pi! SOMEONE who can do a good amount of damage.
Came here to literally see red hare in dw6, I have the hexmark king, ebony king and dapple king, been farming for 12 hours straight every day for 2 weeks fir red hare king, shadow runner king and auburn king and it is brutal !!
I fought Lu Bu on DW4 on easy difficulty with a pretty high level Cao Cao and a 9th weapon and it still took a while. Although I think I dueled him which makes it more difficult obviously.
Rare/unique Weapons on 3,4,5 is easy to me compared to Items Hunting Especially that Damn Unique Horses / Red-Hare on 6, took me 10 weeks back in the day 😂
Stage Chan Ban I once reached 9999K kills in DW3. From then on it doesn't count anymore. Completed map done, leaving only 2 outposts in the north. And then fought the soldiers there in between. Since my own troops cannot defeat the enemy leader, I had all the time in the world. 😅
Getting one hit by Lu Bu in 2-8 is like getting sniped by the sweatiest player using the Modern Warfare 2 Intervention sniper rifle in multiplayer. That, noob tubes with One Man Army or the CoD 4 M16 with stopping power.
DW5 Hu Lao gate, I cheese Lu Bu with my low-health-true-musou strat lmao. Musou, run around as it charges, use again, repeat. I got a light 6-attack weapon my first time I ever did that when I first played when I was like 12
Fighting Lu Bu for me wasn’t bad. But a one on one duel with Lu Bu in DW4 Hu Lao Gate, that is still my nightmare.
That sounds like a nightmare... WAKE ME UP!
With huang gai is super ez
I cheated that somehow...I don't remember. But I accepted the duel by mistake and won? Or timed it out. I don't remember

Yeah same I got hooked on 9 Empires too. Castle design was very good too especially Guan Du at the end.
Thats okay! Theres nothing wrong with that! I love DW6 when the majority hates it, so dont feel bad about it 😁😁
I would imagine some of the things that made the older dw games harder back then would be a bit easier and more manageable in a modern take of those games, but at the same time I don't know that I would want a modern take per say as much as I would just love to have anything at all for the older games even just simply porting them.
them getting reimagined I would not be opposed to..
I haven't gotten to yueying yet... is she that bad 👀👀
DW6 has some characters with crazy combos, and then there's Dian Wei
LOL right! why did they think a giant ball and chain was good lmao
Here's a personal one for me. DW8XL shu stage find red hare. I can never get the bonus objective "find and defeat the true culprit" to trigger.
Sounds like a good challenge 😎😎
It’s quite tricky. Best to set the difficulty to beginner and play someone OP (I used Bao Sanniang LV150 with Velocity and Induction) and hope for the best of luck. It’s recommended to use save scumming if you fail.
Note: It is a goal, so it’s required for the trophy “Goal Getter”
Gotta preface this by saying I'm not too deep into 3, 4, 6 (and naturally 9), only played them a fair bunch compared to the rest
Having recently started a new save for 5 and unlocked everything, only needing to grind for playing in Chaos, the hardest part across all DW main line is having the will to go through all the grind. Fourth or fifth weapons also depend on whether or not guides are in equation, as some of the unlock conditions are quite impossible to discover yourself
Lu Xun on 5 was quite hard, but I did his fourth weapon on his first musou run without any prior grinding on Lu Xun himself with the following setup:
Tiger Amulet 20/Herbal Remedy 20/Wind Scroll/Tortoise Amulet 18 (didn't have the fifth slot at the time, you can opt in for Green Scroll but gotta play way more carefully) with Ice Orb, no bodyguards.
Lu bu has freaking plot armor in dynasty warriors 6 trust me i try to defeat him
Haha for sure
#1 would have to be trying to save all your allies in the battle of Yi Ling, Shu side on hard difficulty in DW3. Some one definitely f***ed up when designing that level cause your allies just don't stay alive long enough at all. And to add to that, the Wu generals have double the defense for no god damn reason other than to either piss you off or in spite of Lie Bei (justifiably) wanting revenge and think Wu is in the right so by the time you Kill a Wu general even with a 4th weapon, 2 or 3 of your ally generals across the map are already dead. And that is even with stopping the fire attack as it ends up not doing anything to raise your ally's moral or drop Wu's so there is basically no reward for it where stopping the fire attack in DW4, 5 & 8 have more incentive and swings the battle in you and your ally's favor so there ends up actually being an award for it
sounds like a fun challenge!
trying to beat 3 lubu clone in dw9e in chaos difficulty when other named npc is around too, outside of a field (which means u just waste time if you fight them instead of clearing fields)
hah nice, lu bu in dw9 i feel is pretty easy
@@TheNightowlGaming in dw9e ur time is much more limited cuz of troops. Fighting them one on one is very easily but in chaos difficulty they are huge dmg sponge. During the challenge to summon one of the beast, you are gonna need to kill em fast or abandon the objective.
@@grayshadow2597 I could see that, but dw9e is easy on chaos, as a ruler, I could breeze through it no problem 👀👀😁😁
Fighting Lu Bu, apart from in DW9 that was a major let down
DW9 was terrible
For me. Getting red hare in dw6 is on top 1. I completed all the legendary horses except red hare to the point i just gave up griding for it. Killing lubu in the hardest difficulty in hulao gate is a bit easy for me tbh
Nice!
Try DW3 Yi Ling, Wu Zheng Plains, or, He fei Castle on Chaos any factions. Defeat all enemy officers while keeping all allied officers alive.
Challenge accepted 😎
@@TheNightowlGaming Its hard as hell but a lot of fun too! Vorpal elements are critical!
0:04
That put a smile on my face.
😂🤣
😎😎
Getting 1k kills in dw3-5, mainly 3-4 was indeed a challenge. After 5 though it becomes a norm if youre not blitzing thru generals and officers
100%
Lubu on chaos made jheeez that would be tough as hell!!
Challenge Accepted 😎😎
next release should just include all the old weapons especially when a character has used multiple weapons b4
That'd be dope
I agree 💯 everything on the list is the toughest thing to do and beat omg
DW be tough sometimes 😁😁
@@TheNightowlGaming indeed lol
Bro number 7 made me laugh harder than it should 😂
😂😂😁😁
I love that Xtreme Mode made this list - and at such a high number, too! 🥲 The amount of times I’ve mopped that mode just to lose to some bullshit on level 38 or something is alarming. And honestly there’s something strangely calming about going through and weapon/item hunting, especially in 3-5, but that could just be the completionist in me. But as for everything else on this list? 100% agree, even if it’s just stuff I’ve watched you struggle with (rip lu xun). Shocked Xiaoqiao’s Nanman Campaign didn’t make it as an honorable mention 😂
OH THE NANMAN CAMPAIGN SWEET BLISS
#1 Liking Dynasty Warriors 9.
LOL yeah it was a rough one
DW3 getting all characters at level 100 in freemode!
Level 100? I dont think they have levels in DW3, do they? they go up to 'MAX' rank and then thats it or do you mean the points up to 100k?
Great video! Nothing can beat Lu Bu. It doesn't matter how often you play through the game: When Lu Bu appears, you are scared! :D
Lol yup excited to see how he looks and appears in origins
Lu Bu in dynasty warriors 4 was a NIGHTMARE. I always ran from him when I was growing up. I even ran away from him on Easy mode. Now a days, he's still hard, but when I'm Cao Cao, I'm pretty good as well. But....duel mode.....I broke soooooooooo many controllers. 😆
DW4 in XIAPI was hard! Like bro I HAVE to beat you to continue why are you so difficult?!
Lol for sure, but those hard and ver hard difficulties were ROUGH
I enjoy DW9 😁
Thats okay! I love DW6 & people hate that game, nothing wrong with liking it!
Because I have 5 extreme legends and not the original, item hunting is pretty hard for me lol. Like I have less than half unlocked and I don’t even know how I got them or how you get them. So I’m going to have to search them all up online.
Nice 😎⛑
Killing Lu Bu at Hu Lao on chaos in DW5 was one of my greatest childhood achievements. Ma Chao with the shadow harness. Ma Chao is my dude, it was serendipity when I discovered all of his mounted attacks go to one side. Very effective way to get in a bunch of attacks and then run the F away lol.
haha nice!
I am not surprised fighting Lu Bu is number 1, trying to beat him at level 1 is impossible I remember in dw2 you would see pretty much every general playable and nonplayable surrounding him and you're like WTF then u fight him and see why.
LOL dudes a monster
indeed he is@@TheNightowlGaming
*Has fresh character on DW4*
*Gets to Hu Lao Gate*
*Sees Lu Bu with level 3 Super Armor*
*Smacks him with Musou Red Health Spam*
*Still dies*
the classic trial of becoming a Dynasty Warriors fan 😎
How is the core gameplay of DW9? DW8 is great, but omg the combat just feels too 'floaty' and detached. I've never played any other musou game period with so much floatiness, and after playing the game for hundreds of hours to fully complete the story mode and ambition mode it's *hard* to go back to it. It feels like you're fighting cardboard props of enemies, not actual enemies.
DW8 was definitely anime esque, DW9 is the same but worse cause every character feels the same
Keeping allies alive is definitely the hardest one for me. I tried so many times getting the Nightmare Brush from DW7:XL. DW7:XL in general though, on full star stage and nightmare difficulty, surviving yourself isn’t a problem since healing is very easy, your allies though are so weak that you have to do everything yourself. Plus, enemy’s officers could heal and get defence 2x attack 2x all the time.
thats a challenge ill be trying to do
Lu Bu in Dynasty Warriors 4 was definitely the most OP Lu Bu.
Lu bu dw4 is the lu bus of lu bu, The Lu Bu from Wo Long is a strong contender though..
Don't know if you're reading this but there's a super easy method getting red hare in Dw6. you have to set your system clock time back...etc. Also, it's usually named Dusk Dream, Dawn Dream, Black Dream and ultimate Dream.
set the time back and then what happens?
I got all the dynasty warriors games just need to get the rest of the dynasty warriors empire games that i definitely going to collect i still got a few of them
DW7E is the biggest pain (for content creators) cause PS3s have built in HDCP so I cant record anything without an extra splitter & they overheat so fast, I gotta buy another one
Yeah i agreed with all this lu bu was hard in dynasty warriors 3 and 4 dynasty warriors 6 was also kinda hard too especially when you try to face lu bu and my dynasty warriors 6 the game frozen and i had to start over
4:02
Enjoying DW9 should have been number 1!
😂😂😁😁
No easy task for anyone one and for me but IL do it everything you said
😁😁
What a nice and creative idea for a list! Now that you've listed them all, I kinda want to try and achieve all of these things 😁
Also, as a person who got every item except 1 in DW4 at max Lvl on Normal (for some reason), I think that honorable mention should have made it way higher 😅
LOL yeah I haven't done it yet so it was definitely a jaded placement, plus DW3 was easy for item hunting
I don’t know how but my brother would always get to 1000 kills extremely easy while I struggled the entire 20 something minutes and I found it hilarious🤣
Classic
and i already got red hare in dw6 and it can one shot the enemy officer in master difficulty, not works on chaos difficulty thought
Thats dope
Lu Bu in DW4 Hu Lao Gate is Legendary. Deserving of the top spot and rewarding when you finally do it.
definitely a tough one
Getting the trophy “Ultimate Rating” in DW8XL is one of the hardest and most grindy trophies ever. You have to get an A ranking on all Free Mode stages, which the requirements to getting an A are vague.
First, you need to get to a certain KO count. Second, you need to beat the stage in a time limit. These two will be different depending on the stage. And the most vague one is getting enough feats, which just means to do at least 2 of the listed goals (this means that you can also do the trophy “Goal Getter” with this trophy, another grindy trophy.)
The first two requirements aren’t bad, but are annoying because the game doesn’t tell you how many KOs you need and how much time you have for an A until the end, so you have to do a lot of save and resetting.
I enjoyed it! I wanna try to get it! haha that dos sound time consuming my goodness
@@TheNightowlGamingGood luck with it if you ever give it shot!
Honestly I can probably make a Top 10 for DW8XL alone lol. A lot of trophies are grindy af.
I been playing dw since #2 came out way back, I've been addicted ever since. The replay value on this genre is crazy 💯 i still enjoy playing all of them to this day
Nice man! Welcome to the community !
#1: Beat Dynasty Warriors 2 on Normal Difficulty or Higher
Haha for sure
I’m lucky to get 10 missions on extreme mode lol. But I haven’t heard of the save method before 🤔
The SAVE method 😎
@@TheNightowlGaming
🤔I must try it
What about beating any level without taking a single hit.
Yeah that could be one! But on easy or even hard with a good character, I think its pretty easy
Ohh ok. Also depends on the game I'm assuming.
Meng Huo isnt in DW6, oh you mean empires & true 5 & 6 are easy probably, but what about the other ones.. 😈😈
Now that you mention Dynasty Warriors 6 and red hare, I don’t think I have it after all these years
lol right, so tough
about #5 => DW3 XL any 5th weapon on Siege of He Fei Castle... Sima Yi's and Lu Meng's are fucking hellish
Eeeeesh, not looking forward to those
You’re right about DW9. I couldn’t even finish a story with any of the characters.. it’s sad cause I was really wanting the open world to work and it just doesn’t unfortunately
yeah its a rough one
Lu bu is not an easy opponent. If you do something to Diao Chan, he WILL BE PISSED
All of the damn Challenge Mode trials in every single game are IMPOSSIBLE
havent delved too deep into those 👀👀
I done found my new favorite channel it’s hard finding ppl talking bout the game good bad whatever
LETS GO! Welcome to the community my friend 💪
I totally remember my friend being so pissed I got Red Hare within 1 month of playing DW6 while he had to spend 6 years (irony right?) to get it, so he would come over to my house just to play while having the red hare mount 😂
Lol thats insane!
Yueying's level 10 weapon in DW4 was a nightmare. Also, my mom was able to find 3 Red Hares in DW6 special, which is almost impossible to achieve.
Thats insane, thats what I keep hearing about Yueying I gotta try it
6 lubu the easiest I beat him lvl 1 zhaoyun just spam charge attack on him. My worst experience is lubu in dw4 took many retry keep dying to his grab.
big boi
Fighting enemy officers in DW6E is already hard when you carry over weapons. The enemy officers will have the upgraded versions on their weapons if you used them in a previous playthrough.
I never found Red Hare in DW6, it was the first thing that came to me from seeing the title.
officer mode on chaos be ruff.. and yeah DW6 red hare is rough to get
Lu Bu combo stunlocking your back as you tried to run away 😭😭😭😔🙏
100% bro got that reach
I Love DW9, playing through the game on a 6th character, I enjoy it
and theres nothing wrong with that! Thats absolutely okay! it was just a personal jab
Not a Dynasty Warrior game, but unlocking Orochi X in Warriors Orochi 2 is hell for me. Since the requirement is to beat all stages in Dramatic Mode, you need to unlock all the stages, where some of the also have specific requirements, like maximizing proficiency of certain character and such.
damn yeah i can imagine that taking some time
Lu bu at hu lao gate in dw 3 around 2004 was my first real nightmare
100%
DW3 Xtreme legend weapons are actually pretty easy, and doable if you go using gan ning as your second char (but main char used) : his musou either is used to gain a but amount of time moving or one shotting officers. back in the days on PS2 I farmed them playing solo with 2 controler and split screen... one difficulty was keeping my underleveled "first character" alive :D
Lool for sure !
Just not all of them.
btw im a Old School DW3 starting fan of the series so im glad to finally find a good DW-centric channel in this (btw DW3's Superior is still one of the series best feel good songs though Arena is up there too)
Haha glad you're enjoying the content! DW till I die!
Honorable mention being playing through the Battle of Tong Gate in DW8. Your options for playing through that stage are rough. Wang Yi, Xu Zhu, and Yuan. Give me Zhang He or Cao Pi! SOMEONE who can do a good amount of damage.
haha for sure
Searching for lu bu red hare was tough back in the day
so tough
Excellent video
Appreciate it very much!
Came here to literally see red hare in dw6, I have the hexmark king, ebony king and dapple king, been farming for 12 hours straight every day for 2 weeks fir red hare king, shadow runner king and auburn king and it is brutal !!
@@awayoflife7292 absolutely tough!
I fought Lu Bu on DW4 on easy difficulty with a pretty high level Cao Cao and a 9th weapon and it still took a while. Although I think I dueled him which makes it more difficult obviously.
For sure that makes sense
Rare/unique Weapons on 3,4,5 is easy to me compared to Items Hunting Especially that Damn Unique Horses / Red-Hare on 6, took me 10 weeks back in the day 😂
lol jeeez
I got Red Hare in DW 6 and I can confirm... It was 100% luck
LOL nice les gooo!
Stage Chan Ban I once reached 9999K kills in DW3. From then on it doesn't count anymore. Completed map done, leaving only 2 outposts in the north. And then fought the soldiers there in between. Since my own troops cannot defeat the enemy leader, I had all the time in the world. 😅
Nice!
Number 7 should be number 1, literally impossible 😂😂😂
LOL 😁
I had the red hare in DW6. Then my niece deleted it when I was on a school trip. I dont even think it took me that long to get

Getting one hit by Lu Bu in 2-8 is like getting sniped by the sweatiest player using the Modern Warfare 2 Intervention sniper rifle in multiplayer. That, noob tubes with One Man Army or the CoD 4 M16 with stopping power.
haha for sure
DW5 Hu Lao gate, I cheese Lu Bu with my low-health-true-musou strat lmao. Musou, run around as it charges, use again, repeat. I got a light 6-attack weapon my first time I ever did that when I first played when I was like 12
