Ingredients:
1 can of evaporated milk
1 can condensed milk
½ cup cream cheese
½ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
30 Maria cookies or similar
Directions:
Blend the evaporated Milk, the condensed Milk, the cream cheese, and the lemon juice.
In a square mold (approx. 9” x 9” and 2” high), place a layer of cookies (approx. 10 cookies), then a layer of the cream mix, and distribute it with a spatula. Repeat the layers.
Cover the last layer with lemon zest and crushed Maria cookies.
Cover the Carlota with aluminum foil or plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 6 hours.
Serve and enjoy!
