Master chief:We all fail, We all make mistakes it’s what makes us human Hearing that the first time from my hero the Master Chief just made me smile and hopeful
Chief considering himself as a human, and accepting that there can be mistakes its amazing, because he always talked about him and other soldiers as if they were machines. ❤
the comms grunt at 32:39 is Joseph Staten the lead writer for halo all the way through to reach and the campaign lead for infinite. he's super into the making the grunt voices 😄
I like Chief’s talk. I actually like that whole scene. It shows what others think of Chief. They see him as so tough that nothing scares him. But they don’t know. Chief has been scared he has been sad he has been happy. He was scared in Halo CE with the Flood. He was sad when he lost his fellow soldiers. And he is right. We all make mistakes because nobody is perfect. Echo was just an engineer on the Infinity but he has proven himself to be a vital part of this team. The only person who didn’t see it was himself. Without him Chief wouldn’t have been able to do what he did. Chief isn’t a one man army. He relies on the help from others just like any other soldier. It really humanizes Chief. I don’t like a lot of what 343 did but I really like how they humanized Chief. I feel like they did good with Chief.
Honestly, I think Chief figured out pretty fast that he wasn't a Marine, for one, he's not even dressed like one save the battle coat typically worn by Marines. He's basically wearing an engineers jumpsuit. For two, he'd rather run away from all of the combat, not to it, even the most worn down Marines would never run from the chance at payback. So I think he just figured he'd have to basically give the guy commands if he wanted anything to get done. I also don't think Chief could have actually flown the Pelican for him there, since E216 is actually *in* the Pilots seat. The co-pilot only monitors the systems, I think their flight controls only activate if the Pilots get damaged or if the Pilot flatlines/is unconscious. Sure there might be some kind of override, but I'd like to think that Chief had some level of confidence in E216. Can we also talk about how, despite being so done with Chief constantly wanting to throw them into danger, he basically says "I'm finding a Condor, and then WE are getting far away from here." like, he wants to take the Chief with him. I find that incredibly adorable. I love the moments between Chief and E216, they're honestly really wholesome and heartwarming.
This game is so real for this cutscene, it's one of the most beautiful Master Chief moments. On the other hand, I'm glad The Weapon is starting to grow on you, or at least he jokes, she's cool
megmage forgets which button is the melee button, proceeds to electrocute grunt, but in all seriousness forgetting controls is something every halo fan does
CHIEF backseat fly.... idk if you remember any time chief has flown in the games he has never successfully landed one time. always crashs chief cant fly for sht. also one of the 2 bosses one the special chopper has spartan lockes helm on his shoulder. fate unknown
Alright pals, you know the drill! Please be mindful of discussing Halo lore which Meg has yet to encounter (such as the rest of the books or the TV show), thank you!
Master Chief in top 5 favorite video game characters for sure 😭
He is a fantastic character!
Master chief:We all fail, We all make mistakes it’s what makes us human
Hearing that the first time from my hero the Master Chief just made me smile and hopeful
My favourite piece of dialogue in the game, by far
It’s such a baseline quote, but the fact that it’s MASTER CHIEF to be the one saying it...that just gives the quote so much more meaning
Halo infinite came out exactly 3 years ago today
Camera couldn’t handle emotionally intelligent Chief
Our first omen should've been when he kneeled and the game's cam SHOOK 🤣🤣🤣🤣

ahhh the "what makes us human" scene gets me everytime its so good
I love Halo, but this one is so cheesy. Nevertheless, looking back, Halo original trilogy can be pretty cheesy sometimes hahaha

Wow, I never thought of that, but I love it even more now
1:40:45 Basically Chief is implying that he feels responsible for everything that's been happening since the end of Halo 4, this is a personal battle
So many great scenes from this franchise but having chief who is supposed to be this emotionless weapon comforting him is really something special.
God I cannot wait for the next Halo. Infinite was my favourite. Its only getting better
1:38:24 Easily one of the best cutscenes in the campaign. 343 fully showed Master Chief's human side in the best way possible.
Chief’s speech always brings out the waterworks 🫶🏼
This game is so real for this cutscene, it's one of the most beautiful Master Chief moments.
On the other hand, I'm glad The Weapon is starting to grow on you, or at least he jokes, she's cool
I think I was mirroring John too much with the distrust and grumpiness 🤣
The gravemind was wrong, Chief is not all machine
Machine and nerve*
not anymore at least
"She said that to me once - about being a machine.."
That’s what bungie had him as 343 changed that people don’t like that tho lol
One of the twin bosses you fought had Locke's helmet from halo 5 embedded in his shoulder armour.
This is exactly why I think this I the best story since 2 and best gameplay since reach
megmage forgets which button is the melee button, proceeds to electrocute grunt, but in all seriousness forgetting controls is something every halo fan does
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I think my favorite thing from this game is that, no matter how high you are, Chief always lands in the ground after a jump as if nothing had happened
Thank you for blessing my feed today Meg, I shall watch intently as I eat my lunch!
CHIEF backseat fly.... idk if you remember any time chief has flown in the games he has never successfully landed one time. always crashs chief cant fly for sht. also one of the 2 bosses one the special chopper has spartan lockes helm on his shoulder. fate unknown
Escharum is a great villain.
He is definitely a character
One of the characters of all time for sure.
A villain
Its also Christmas in halo infinite right now theres a bunch of free Christmas themed stuff to earn lol
Hi Meg hope you are having an great and awesome day ❤️
Infinite wasn’t perfect but it got soundtrack right !
Alright pals, you know the drill! Please be mindful of discussing Halo lore which Meg has yet to encounter (such as the rest of the books or the TV show), thank you!
Meg needs to play a few Forza Horizon games so she can race the Warthog around!
Awesome 😁
