Newish viewer here. I've been watching all of the recent coaching videos and I just wanna say I've learned a lot. You're a great coach and I can see improvements in both myself and Ludwig.
imma watch this even though i watched the live stream because you are the best thing that has happened to Luds league journey so far and you deserve every bit of free money I can get you from this god forsaken youtube algorithm.
I've always thought Ludwig was a great gamer and was frustrated seeing him struggle in League in the past, especially because I could see the potential he had with the game. I'm glad to see you bringing that out of him and teaching me some things in the process.
1. Ludwig needs to unlock his cam, its actively holding him back at this point. 2. Hope he co-streams worlds finals next year, feel like he would find a whole new kind of appreciation for that level of play now.
Regarding Ludwig's questions about stealing objectives, he should also know that there are just some champs you can't really steal from, like a Nunu or Ekko.
Hope lud learns a bit more about lane states and how to evaluate them better. He’s lost decent time even in winning games by not comprehending the match ups (understandable) but also minions and lane state. Only only criticism I would give is I would love him to get the odd pink ward. For sure this is support main screaming into a void, but man, the vision would help MASSIVELY!!
I buy like 10 pinks a game overall. This means the support and I can overwhelm objective vision, and I can accurately track the other jungler even when my mid has 7 vision score
Quickcast with indicator feels way better to play with than quickcast. You can set it up really nicely also, you can have your targeted skills to be regular quickcast and your skillshots to be quickcast with indicator. It shows the width and length of a skillshot when you hold it and when you unpress it fires. If you hold and issue a move command the skillshot stops showing. This is what I spent a lot of time looking for and setting up after I started playing Lol again after I played dota2. Their spell binding system is way better than league's cause you can setup the binds for each champ in your lets say collection menu, and then just play. Cause what I find myself doing is I play j4 jg and for him I need my E to be quickcast with indicator so I always know the length of my eq and all other skills i have regular quickcast so that I can do faster combos. But when I play xerath I nedd my Q, W and E to be quickcast with indicator, because that is way more comfortable to know the slow nuke range and radius as well as your stun's length to actively note on how you should be positioning. And when I play j4 again I gotta switch up the keybinds in champselect, but if you stick to this binding system you will feel your skillshots way better, especially when learning new champs.
9:40 I can confirm.. I tried to play mumu in low elo and it was disaster with the tank build.. people didnt know shit and I had to carry and knew i could but it was not possible. although I won the game by macro decisions.. But man that was so hard for no reason :D
I see what Blake's saying too. It says $60 near the calendar but $120 under the packages session. Perry changed the prices from $60 to $120--he announced changes on his Discord on Dec 9th. Must be that website wasn't fully updated.
After 10 years of playing this game I'm convinced the current game state is awful and unplayable. It just feels like whoever wins the game is decided by multiple coin flips, even the top players in the game have a sub 55% winrate which tells you that they are losing almost half of their games. Are they just bad players for half of their games or did they lose the coinflip? Can't put your team on your back anymore.
Just false. The argument that top players have a slight win rate make no sense. They are playing against other top players. Ofc they won’t have a 70% win rate. But the player base have gotten a lot better so it’s harder to climb. You really need to put time and effort in to reach emerald/diamond
Y'know, sometimes in top lane, I run into people that are giga-inflated past their elo based on how bad their micro is. If Lud makes it to Plat, shit the fact he made it out of Bronze, got me feelin that way
Anytime u arent live coaching he sinks, why dont u log in his account and boost it to plat already? Its clear he's only gonna get there with constant shotcalling lmao
Personally I judge wether to Baron on level and farm. Level 12 is the earliest I'd even consider starting it. Usually at that point it takes too long. You take a lot of damage. It's a huge risk. The respawn timers are short enough that the entire enemy team can be on us before we finish. If I'm 12 and I have a good image of the jungler. He's decently fed. The I run with him to baron see what happens. If the ADC has farmed decently, I judge wether we can do it. If I think no, I just say retreat, and they stop. Preferably we're over level 15 before we do baron. Only when we get 3 kills, or 2 with one being the jungler. Otherwise we're likely at a stage where it's not worth the risk. If we're ahead, we should just be taking dragon soul instead of baron. At level 18, then I'm comfortable taking baron with the entire enemy team still up. The rest of my team will be 15-17, so this is the time we have to make so.ething happen. I'm at my xp cap, so now every second, my lead decreases.
It's super comp dependent. Some comps can easily take baron at 20 minutes, some can't even take it late game. Your champ doesn't matter so much as types of adcs and mid laners, usually. Someone like Yone or Karthus does crazy dps while someone like Swain is useless at taking it.
@@Matkatamiba I play vex, I'm not doing crap. I can throw a good burst, and then I have to wait a bit. Sometimes I dive the jungler on the drake before he's able to smite it. Then I'm there like, damn... this thing is weak, but I need like 3 spell rotations to finish it.
