Question 1: Top-down processing is when you use prior knowledge and information to interpret information. While bottom-up processing is when you process information by taking in the incoming stimuli and organizing it as it comes. Question 2: When you read through a paper on a subject you are familiar with and miss simple mistakes. Your brain skips the mistakes or autocorrects them in your mind with your prior knowledge because you know what it is supposed to be. Question 3: When you look at an image of an event for the very first time. At first you just take in the information being presented to you. Here you are just trying to understand what is happening with the image and have no prior knowledge to help you with your processing. Question 4: When you read the paper and your brain auto corrects the errors, without you knowing it. This happens because of top-down processing
Hello! I’m taking Ap psychology and was currently having bad test score performance but now with watching your video I think I have a chance to score higher on my next exam, thank you so much!!
I am watching every one of your AP Psychology videos within the next 3 days. Thanks man, I feel like this is complimenting my teachers lack of ability to teach very well. I might just get a 4 or even a 5 if I can get through all of these videos by tomorrow night and then study some quizlet terms tomorrow night / Monday night / tuesday morning before the exam at noon on Tuesday.
I got a 5 on the AP Exam last year for AP Human Geography. Now I have a 100 in AP Psych because of you
Way to go! That is fantastic. My videos might help, but you are the one doing it. Great job!
