MochiNyoki how exactly does Chochukmo remind you of Asian Kung-Fu Generation and RADWIMPS? Those two you mentioned are both Japanese bands that also sing in only Japanese, while Chockukmo is from Hong Kong (China) and sing in English and speak Cantonese. Also Chockukmo is only listed as playing indie rock. While AKFG is listed as playing alternative rock, pop punk, power pop, and indie rock. And RADWIMPS is listed as playing alternative rock, indie rock, pop rock, post-punk, funk rock, jazz-rock, emo and rap rock. Oh yea.... did i mention they sing in a different language and are from 2 different countries? That’s like comparing Rammstein (from Germany) to Metallica (from the USA). The only thing that they have in common is 1 type on music genre which is heavy metal. Every other genre of music they play is total different and they com from 2 totally different countries and sing in two totally different languages. Oh I guess another thing in common, they are....white.... in race. Just like the color of skin of the people of the 3 bands you mentioned. But yea...oh did I mention they sing in a different language and are from 2 different countries (yes I know I’ve repeated this twice on purpose)... and if your wondering I’ve listened to AKFG for a very long time. My point is I find it hard to imagine this band being similar to those two. The music doesn’t sound the same, that’s why the other bands have such a variety. They play instruments differently, the beats different and the singing is different. Even if there was no voice, it just would not be alike. The 2 others are in multiple different types of music genres so it’s played differently. And when you add the voice...well the language makes a large difference.
