Crazy how in one of her first films like "roman holiday" she was the one getting a haircut, now shes the one who's cutting the hair. I feel like the directors did this purposely to see if we caught it, well done to the directors!
i always wanted to believe that when my beautiful mother died that she was never really gone, she was still here i just coulnt see her, she was a great mother, the best i could have wished for, i miss her but i know deep down that she is still here in some way and 1 day we will meet again, love you mum
The John Williams music in this scene really is heavenly. He evokes the perfect atmosphere for the segment in the high grass, as Hap explains how the living and the dead are connected. Inspiration...
It’s just so so sad she was taken so soon after l the good she did for this world she gave up her film career to. work for UNICEF full time❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏✨✨✨can’t find any more words to express how I feel about that GOD rest her soul❤️💋
What a beautiful thought to have Audrey accompany you to the other side. How divine! Also, it is so fitting her last role on screen is that of an angel. Divine intervention. God specifically planned that.
Did anyone else unexpectedly start crying? She was so special and to see her act in a Spielberg film to a John Williams score in that beautiful iconic hepburn outfit... as an angel. She got the final role she deserved and we got a parting gift from a star
I think all of us would love a chance to say something about our lives after we've died. "I did that!" is what we'd all love to say to everyone a last time about an accomplishment, big or small. One last time...not a chance but a time...to exclaim that we existed and did things.
His son joe William's sang vocals for music group toto. Stop loving you great song lots of energy he has the toto sound for sure...talent runs in the family big time.....
Spirit means to give back what's inside you your spirit to help others survive on earth otherwise your not showing were all spirit and connected threw our hearts
A year later they released the movie Ghost and took all the fame and awards. It is the same movie, it is the same, but Ghost was the favorite for the memory of people
Hi. After working in the woods most of my life, since I was 19 years old. I see this movie as a cheesy copy reality. . It is true in some respects. The aircraft are what they call two seaters. I am older now. 60. I appreciate the Dreyfus and Hepurn scene. Getting his hair cut in the middle of the woods. I have done it many times . I have sat down with men in flight suits, on fires, in my time. Broke bread and ate dinner with them. They are the salt of the earth and do there jobs well. Vic Umpqua, Oregon .
I just realized Audrey Hepburn was in a movie of modern genius Steven Spielberg. Though she worked in movies by Billy Wilder, Stanley Donen, William Wyler and Fred Zinneman. I wished she had collaborated with Stanley Kubrick, Alfred Hitchcock, Martin Scorsese, Orson Welles and Satyajit Ray (whom she presented the Academy Honorary Award in 1992).
It was a good film .Funny and sad at times.Great aviation sequences. But this scene is so poignant in the movie and real life. brings tears to the eyes I think she had already been diagnosed at this time.? I would like to think we would all be met with a serene soul like hers from time to time.

Even in a small role, Hepburn is a big presence
To me, her short appearance is what I remember most from this film along with the most beautiful, underrated score by John Williams.
Amen to that ! The camera loved her and she truly had a charismatic presence !
Yes i agree

Audrey was perfect as an Angel.
I have a notion to second that emotion !! :-)
Meeting Audrey Hepburn when you die? We should all be so lucky.
U
she was truly an angel!
I know, right?! 😍
@@88hyperman, she still is.
Agreed...she was perfect for the role.
"Hello Pete." I believe an angel as comforting as Audrey Hepburn comforted my father. His name was Pete...
only Audrey could pull this off.....a timeless beauty inside and out
How right you are !! :-)
so long as you remember her and love her, she is there in your heart
Words of wisdom indeed !! :-)
Now 2024 your words still correct
Audrey's voice sounds relaxing
It REALLY does !! Part of her endless charm !! :-)
“That was quite a show back there.”
“Yes ma’am”.
I have always loved that.
A lovely woman in every way possible.
Crazy how in one of her first films like "roman holiday" she was the one getting a haircut, now shes the one who's cutting the hair. I feel like the directors did this purposely to see if we caught it, well done to the directors!
It is directed by legendary filmmaker Steven Spielberg.
Roman Holiday was Audrey's first Hollywood film and this movie was her last (her last film overall). Kudos to the director for this magnificent scene!
Yeah but the movie director didn't exactly know it was her last movie. It was probably the universe rather than the movie makers.
i always wanted to believe that when my beautiful mother died that she was never really gone, she was still here i just coulnt see her, she was a great mother, the best i could have wished for, i miss her but i know deep down that she is still here in some way and 1 day we will meet again, love you mum
comets00 Audrey Hepburn is your Mum?
i think that's a bit rude but if that's your thing then i feel sorry for you
Of course she stands near you. Where else would she want to be?
@@NELLIE-41388 you know i posted that 11 years ago, thank you for that, i believe you

The perfect part for her, everything about her...her looks.the way she moved, even her voice, gives you the sense that she is an Angel.
It’s just so so sad she was taken so soon after l the good she did for this world she gave up her film career to. work for UNICEF full time❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏✨✨✨can’t find any more words to express how I feel about that
GOD rest her soul❤️💋
What a gorgeous, kind, warm and calm woman she was... She must've been a soothing person to be around.
She was so incredibly beautiful.
What a beautiful thought to have Audrey accompany you to the other side. How divine! Also, it is so fitting her last role on screen is that of an angel. Divine intervention. God specifically planned that.
Wow. My greatest inspiration. Audrey remained elegant from her first second on camera till her last.
Did anyone else unexpectedly start crying? She was so special and to see her act in a Spielberg film to a John Williams score in that beautiful iconic hepburn outfit... as an angel. She got the final role she deserved and we got a parting gift from a star
I did when I watched this movie just today for this first time…right when Audrey is shown 😭😭😭
Most angelic person ever to have been cast as an angel. Xxx
Audrey Hepburn in a Steven Spielberg film? ALWAYS classic.
So lovely is she. No time passes for her perfection between then and now.
So much class - Audrey was and still is amazing ;-)
Right on !! :-)
One of my favorite movies of all time.
Same
Me too
She is eternally beautiful and a kindred spirit
It movie is wonderful,Audrey Repburn, beautiful woman.
It was a stroke of genius having Audrey Hepburn play an angel in this film. She had such a soothing presence on screen.
I lové Audrey Hepburn
I don't blame you ! She was a loveable person !! :-)
It must take an angel like Hap to remind each & everyone of us: we are never alone.
LOL I thought he said Hep as in Hepburn. Never saw the movie :)
I think all of us would love a chance to say something about our lives after we've died. "I did that!" is what we'd all love to say to everyone a last time about an accomplishment, big or small. One last time...not a chance but a time...to exclaim that we existed and did things.
AHHHH my heart!! Ms.Hepburn's voice is so relaxing!! so much respect for this woman!!! legend
I love how, being an angel, she knows the exact moment he thinks about Dorinda, well before he even says her name.
She is an angel right now
Nope. Still fully human, but glorified and free of sin and all its penalties. May we all see her again.
interestingly that in this movie she plays itself themselves. angel.
This is one of my favorite parts
Loved this movie!!
Best movie 🎉
3:26+ this is a very underrated score by John Williams. It's powerful, moving, and he's the only one who could write music for the ethereal like this.
His son joe William's sang vocals for music group toto. Stop loving you great song lots of energy he has the toto sound for sure...talent runs in the family big time.....
This is cinema gold
So, so beautiful...this film is one of my favorites.
good god, she's still gorgeous even as an old woman. thats incredible
My favorite movie!!!!!!!!

Audrey, still timelessly beautiful
Gorgeous...Audrey's...❤
A year later they released the movie Ghost and took all the fame and awards. It is the same movie, it is the same, but Ghost was the favorite for the memory of people
This movie should have gotten the respect it deserved. A remake of “A Guy Named Joe”
"I'm dead. Keep the sideburns."
When I go I hope she cuts my hair and escorts me to heaven.
I agree 100 per cent !! :-)
Audrey Hepburn playing an angelic barber. You don't see that everyday.

A movie that should be known
Cœur cœur coeur 💔
I'm pretty sure in some language the word Hepburn means "Beautiful at any age."
It was a good film .Funny and sad at times.Great aviation sequences.

Just how I imagine the afterlife to be.

Well, if Ms Hepburn is cutting your hair, you know you aint in Hell.

Hepburn as a guardian angel. Oh please
Wow
Just I do...... very trust....
Full explanation why we have a soul some call Spirit
Ironic that her final role was as an angel.
"Hap...don't think I'm doubting your good faith or anything...but...I'm dead?"
"Yes."

Audrey Hepburn had a sweet personality, but bad taste in men.
Cool idea regarding the afterlife...but the line, "keep the sideburns" is embarrassingly awful. Horrible attempt at humour.
