How can anyone not love Audrey Hepburn? She smiles and it's over.
If you can’t stand cigarettes you won’t stand being around her. She is a heavy smoker
@@lepetitchat123 She's DEAD. Why are people talking about her like she's still alive?
@@ellie-tk4jy because she was considered a fashion icon/memorable actress?
@@lepetitchat123 Anti everything - turn yourself back to that time. Geezus H
women could cope with men's stinking mouths so men can cope unless you're precious little babies?@@lepetitchat123
No other actress in history has ever really displayed such blend of poise, elegance and charm as much as Audrey did.
Grace Kelly has entered the chat
Such. Impudence! Grace Kelly was in a whole other category
@@farapipsqueek636 you're right. Grace was elegant, but more in the category of all-American classic beauty. Audrey, on the other hand, was more of a quirky, unconventional beauty who didn't fit the mold of the polished, voluptuous, classically pretty, male-oriented feminine sexiness that a majority of the popular actresses of the time aspired to fit into.
I know that it's a Personal Choice...but to me Audrey Hepburn was the most Beautiful and classy. Woman to ever live
Dat ''They didn't know about it'' smile !
THAT GOT HER THE PART
She is .... SO DAMN PERFECT! 😍😍
This was delightful! Audrey Hepburn is quite possibly the most charming person to have ever lived
God she is adorable...classy and charming too. I'm in love with Audrey.
Thanks for it. Great to see Audrey here. She would never imagine that her work in the movie would be an Academy Award winner performance! Love Audrey as Princess Ann and her chemistry with Gregory Peck and Eddie Albert. ''Roman Holiday'' is a masterpiece and one of my favorite movies ever! Love that movie so much. And it should have won Best Picture, by the way.
Jefferson Borges I love this movie and it's ageless!! I wish I can see that movie in full colour to see her ultimate beauty
She was an absolute goddess. Such class. So lovely.
No one deserves to be called a goddess but Audrey❤️
that dress in 05:12, oh my she a living disney princess right there i can see cinderella in her ball gown😍
They should make a biopic about Edith Head!
utop ia OMG YES! how has that not happened yet??
What an absolute Legend Miz Edith was... Sorry... Still Is.
Absolutely!
The reason they have not done so is that she was accused of a long history of artistic plagiarism. She admitted to taking designs from several of her students at the design school and creating a portfolio, thus securing her first costume design job as a copyist. She went behind the back of designers hired to style actresses for films and had their credits pulled so only her name appeared, and thus, only she received credit, including oscar nominations and wins. The most famous being that Givenchy, then a new designer, was blind-sided by this move when he designed all of the clothes Audrey Hepburn wore in Sabrina only for Edith Head to take credit and the Oscar. Audrey Hepburn was so incensed by this that she refused to ever work with Edith Head directly again and made it part of her contract that she would only work with Givenchy and that he must be fully credited.
Edith Head is the original inspiration for Edna Mode
Awh she was so happy until he said "tell us about the war" 😭😭💔💔
😔💔
Yes but he was smart he needed to get her reactions on film
So brave.
Audrey is a goddess. Inside & out.
They left out my favorite part. When the original test was done they relaxed and chatted a little with her but didn't tell her the camera was still rolling. She was ENCHANTING.
She's so lovely
Audrey is so beautiful. And it is great to see Edith Head, who won six Oscars.
She deserves 10 Oscars for her role in Roman Holiday
I know this is a cliche, but Audrey had no peer. One of a kind.
One of the best classic movies. Audrey was awsome.
I really thought that the woman was going to take her glasses off and SURPRISE it's Audrey Hepburn. She has the exact same hair style.
haha no that's Edith Head of course
Americans love royalty. It shows
How can u miss someone who u have never met?
Easy. You watch their movies, see appearances and interviews, and know about the contributions they've made that makes them more than just vapid actors doing things for their own publicity. Then, you look around at the current way people in that same role behave. And finally, Compare the two. See? It's simple.
Download all her movies and watch it
Her posture and behaviour in audition is greater than what was seen in Roman Holiday
I've just seen this movie for the first time.... in 2019! Loved it.
me too. the ending was so heartbreaking. maybe because it was so pure, nostalgic and heartfelt. Movies nowadays always try to challenge the mind not the heart with their visual effects, sarcastic jokes, and mindboggling plot twists.
I’m so glad you did. Any interview with Audrey - you’ll love her more after each one.
@@SheriSoltes Thank you for the advice. I'll check them out. Take care.
She was simply the most Beautiful woman who has ever lived.
I love Audrey Hepburn so much!
If thats time disney have live action adaptation movie..she should be cinderella
Edith, and Audrey are amazing.
I love the way she speaks!
I'm glad they chose the silver ball gown. Much more attractive than the other one.
A STAR IS BORN
Your Highness... I love you Princess Audrey...
I loved this
Wonderful!!😍
Yes, I am quite aware of body positivity and yes I know the infrastructure of my own body and its capabilities. And no I don't believe a slender body has more merits than that similar to Marilyn Monroe. Lastly, yes, I understand the circumstances through which it was attained. With that being, that waistline and those shoulders could make a dirty washclothes stitched together look good. Oh boy, do I wish I had the waist ratio.
Birth of a Classic legend of Hollywood
Lovely angel 👼
Stunning, charming...
shes an angel.
when god kissed the earth, audrey was given birth
When she is created, God kiss her forhead. That is why she is so lovely and also a loving person ...
Wow! Thx!
We have discovered the reference for Edna Mode from the animated film The Incredibles.
Edith Head's costumes could be real hit or miss.
Angelic woman.
Adriaantje, ons hollandse meisje 🌷 (Audrey our dutch girl)
Yeah .... but when did she start making super suits?
Right?! She looks just like Edna Mode minus the cigarette
Wow I'm so amazed! Her hair is not cropped. It's clipped and the bangs are the ends of her hair!
شكرا على الترجمه
I really wished that I was at the same time that Audrey Hepburn existed in life
Maybe the most perfect match in history.
Anna May Wilson 💛💙♥️🤔
Unfortunaltely they forgot to mention Hubert de Givenchy who was who actually designed Audrey Hepburn dresses for Roman Holiday...
Really, he wasn´t involved until "Sabrina"
Edith Head designed the costumes. Givenchy was a consultant for her second film, Sabrina and subsequently became her designer. I love the costumes in Roman Holiday, largely because she inhabits them so simply; they do not overtake her as fashion/iconic pieces. Audrey's soul shines through in this film so beautifully, because the clothes are there to serve her character. It's so pure and so deeply touching.
I have seen Roman Holiday so many times at Empire cinema.Bombay & i remember my seat no is always i chosen N 24
I'm sorry, dear, but the glasses definitely do not work.
I first saw this movie when I was 13 or 14, and now I am 53, I just saw it again tonight. I wish I could say that I still love it so much this and that....but I can't. Instead I found it to be rather boring, especially fir the first hour or so. Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck both were charming and unbelievably good looking but that's beyond the point....the script was rather lame
I just watched it for the second time and fell in love with it again. I found it greatly entertaining and sweet with an amazing story and script. Totally a masterpiece comparing to many romantic movies of today. I think you probably just have a bad taste.
Shooka A.
well, and you are probably just narrow minded and ignorant about what it takes to make a good movie...ignorance is bliss......
@@allisgoodallisbad well, I wonder what your favorite movies are! As I said I thought you just had a bad taste. But with your comment, you just showed that what a narrow-minded and ignorant person you are in general....ignorance is bliss......
allisgoodallisbad The movie holds the rating of 98% on rotten tomatoes. I’m pretty certain that crtics are more than capable of recognizing a good movie.
fresh rating, that is.
